hi everyone !!! idk if you’re all still here or not, but you mayyyy or may not have noticed that i haven’t posted in like a century and a half 💔💔

college has been kicking me in the butt & it’s very hard to find the motivation to do anything at this point so i haven’t been able to post in such a long time :(( i will come back !! i just can’t fit it in right now 😭 until i get the hang of the stuff we’re doing I probably won’t be able to upload :(

my interest in fire emblem is kind of dwindling so i’ll have to replay the game a few times to get back into it 😖 i still have so many requests I’m so sorry ahhh the hypmic & final fantasy brain rot has completely taken over

she knows that you’ll be happy, and she knows that she’s happy… but she can’t help but think that this is where your relationship starts going downhill

you’ll find her on the verge of tears in the infirmary, staring out of the window with shaky hands and constantly tapping feet

she’ll jump if you sit next to her but she leans into your touch anyway, quietly telling you what it’s all about

if you react positively, she starts yelling and talking really loudly about how excited she is, and soon enough she’s got everyone around her in a positive mood too

i’m so sorry you had to wait this long!! of course, requests are closed right now but i am open to bsd requests after i open them again :):)

he likes to think that he knows what’s he’s doing but he honestly doesn’t

you really think he’s cuddled someone before? absolutely not. that’s why you’re so special

literally curls into you like a cat & won’t let go unless you really need to get up

definitely purrs if you scratch his head. i know everyone says that but he definitely does

if he’s asleep, you’ll notice that he subconsciously nuzzles his head into your arm or the crook of your neck, constantly looking for more warmth and more affection

has a gentle smile on his face whilst asleep too, and you’ll notice it grows slightly whenever you kiss him

doesn’t mind being the big spoon or the little spoon, as long as you’re holding each other in some way or another

is far too embarrassed to cuddle you anywhere outside of your house but he’ll settle for just holding your hand instead

says “our hands can cuddle instead” and instantly regrets it because of how terribly cheesy and cringe it sounded

he normally holds you quite tight, as though he’s trying to confirm that you’re still there, or as though he’s making sure that you don’t leave him

i was going to say something else but it sounds a bit sad do we’re definitely not going to say that

but cuddling with atsushi is the best. he’s naturally warm like a radiator & his arms are the perfect amount of muscle to be comfortable to rest in

DIMITRI

has the softest look on his face for the entire honeymoon. there isn’t a wrinkle or frown to be seen anywhere, and his soft smile is always present

has his hand in yours or on the small of your back at all times, making sure that everyone knows that he’s there at your side to protect you

plus, whenever he’s holding your hand with the ring on, he finds himself running his thumb over the ring, thinking about how lucky he is to have you

lots of kisses. whenever you look over at him, he’s staring at you with love in his eye, and he leans over to kiss your cheek or hold your head in his hands gently

DEDUE

takes you to duscur, where you both stay in a small cabin surrounded by fields of flowers. it’s the prettiest spot in fodlan, but dedue likes to insist that it’s second only to you

you spend the days cooking together, and making picnics to sit outside & eat. he teaches you how to make flower crowns and you both return home sporting one each

he’s never that far from you, making sure to always stay by your side (not incase there’s danger about, but simply because being closer to you means that he can reach out and kiss you more often)

you stay up late at night, led outside on the picnic blanket, watching the stars and talking about your plans for the future

stays latched onto your back for most of the time you’re there, telling you that there’s no place he’d rather be - which was true, actually, he says often that he’d love to spend the rest of his life holding you

holds your hand up to hers, comparing the sizes and admiring the sparkle of the rings in the sunlight. kisses your knuckles to show just how much she appreciates you

tries to smuggle samples of all the desserts you try back to mercedes but she ends up dropping most of it on the floor. you both laugh your heads off about it & it’s quickly forgotten

you’ve never seen her smile more than you do on your honeymoon. she says that she feels more free, and that she doesn’t have to be afraid to show whatever emotions she wants

sheds a few tears in your arms on the first night, crying about how grateful she is and how genuinely happy she feels, saying that she hasn’t felt this happy in years

takes you out on her pegasus, taking you on a tour of the skies, showing you her favourite spots in fodlan & sneaking you both into her favourite restaurant at night

she’s more clingy now than she’ll ever be - make sure you get all the hugs and affection out of her now before it’s too late

ive got a cocker spaniel and he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me lolol

he’s so scared he’s going to snap your dog in half, he’s shaking in his boots

when he eventually brings himself to pick it up he’s in love

& it’s the cutest image too - big old dimitri with a teeny weeny dog in his arms. my heart melts thinking about it

always gives in to puppy eyes & cannot say no to it. don’t blame him if the dog gets really chunky, he won’t stop giving it food

DEDUE

knows everything about dogs. dedue was definitely one of those kids that knew everything there is to know about dogs & would tell everyone unprompted

him holding the tiny dog……. also a very cute image. 10/10 would think about again

takes his dog-sitting duties very seriously whenever you ask him to take care of your dog. your dog comes back better than before

the dog gets very attached to dedue & most days will not leave

SYLVAIN

he knows the basics but that’s about it - he doesn’t know anything about how much a dog should eat so he just goes wild

acts disgusted and says that he hates dogs, only to turn around and speak to it in the most high-pitched baby voice you’ve ever heard

sneaks the dog food under the table and always denies it

whenever you let felix dog-sit, you always come home to him snoring on the sofa with the dog on his lap, sleeping soundly

he’s always very soft when he’s just woken up so please take advantage of this and cuddle with them

literally screams when he sees your dog. he loves dogs. especially the little ones.

the dog literally ran into his arms, excited to see someone new, and ashe just melted into the floor

does not leave the dog alone for five minutes & always comes running back to it whenever he’s forced away

your dog now officially loves ashe more than it loves you

she has the kindest voice & the kindest face, so the dog is just immediately drawn to her

they’re best friends now. the dog cries whenever she has to leave

having her over with the dog is always a nightmare, though, because a) she doesn’t leave it alone and b) her attention is solely on the dog and nothing else

probably steals your dog at some point

has also tried to steal your dog. mercedes definitely helped her do so

the dog always falls asleep on her lap but ends up waking up again because she’s crying

has a great baby voice and the dog always goes wild whenever it hears her

she makes a little eating song for the dog and now it can’t eat without her singing it. it won’t listen to your singing, only hers

also tries to make out that she’s not obsessed with the dog but she totally is

spends the entire day playing with the dog instead of spending time with you, but insists that she’s definitely not spending time with the dog

shows it off to all of her friends, even though it’s your dog and not hers

too bad. she’s stolen it & it’s now her dog. deal with it

i love the golden deer so much. i think about them every day without fail

CLAUDE

screams it from the top of the goddess towers the second you say yes to him. he then proceeds to pick you up + swing you around

his voice is so loud that everyone runs out of their dorms fully prepared to fight in their pyjamas

when they discover that it’s just claude screaming in the middle of the night, they’re all a bit cheesed off but then they all see that claude is sporting the most genuine smile he’s ever had, ever, and all is forgiven

brings it up to everyone, all the time - it’s all he thinks about and all he talks about

HILDA

stands on the table in the middle of the dining hall and loudly yells about how much she loves you + then adds on the end that you’re engaged

picks you up bridal style and parades you around, showing off your ring to anyone who dares look your way

everyone tries their hardest not to make eye contact because they know that hilda won’t shut up about your engagement

won’t be able to keep her hands off of you for the next two weeks, so be prepared for that

LORENZ

he can’t wait to say it. he’s giggling to himself for the rest of the night, keeping the pair of you up for hours on end - poor ignatz in the next room over can’t sleep either

talks about it to ingrid and sylvain, but he makes it out to be some valiant journey you’re going on or that you’ve been doing some extra tough training

they catch on eventually but they think it’s cute that he thinks so highly of you

he faints at the sight of blood so be warned. he will freak out & not know what to do

he honestly thinks that your days are numbered and that you’re dying. please assure him that you’re not and hopefully he’ll be alright

at your beck and call - he honestly feels terrible that you’re forced to go through this and he’s willing to do anything to make you feel better

i’ve suddenly gotten the motivation to post a lot so i’m going to take advantage of that - i’m so sorry that everyone’s had to wait so long (youve probably given up waiting at this point) but i promise i’ll get through everything!

DIMITRI

gets made fun of by his friends for staring at you in your swimwear for a second too long and gets horribly embarrassed

is the person who offers to be buried in the sand. sylvain tries gives him huge boobs but felix continuously slaps them off, calling it inappropriate

puts his arm around your waist or your shoulders and takes you on a slow walk along the beach, just talking to you about whatever comes to mind

whenever there’s a water fight, dimitri tries to join in but immediately ruins the fun because his splashes are far too powerful and he almost accidentally drowned flayn

gets really sad afterwards, so you’ll have to sit next to him for a bit trying to motivate him - he appreciates your company though

DEDUE

gets buried in the sand unintentionally. he’s never been to the beach before with friends so he’s unfamiliar with this, so he falls asleep at some point and gets scared when he wakes up and sees that he’s got a mermaid tail

eventually he gets into the fun a bit, but he stays near your side for the most part, feeling safe as long as you’re around to support him

he definitely comes out of his shell a lot whenever he’s with the lions. normally he keeps his distance from other people, but you’ve noticed him trying to start conversations with people other than dimitri

picks up felix and sylvain and lobs them into the water but quickly realises that felix can’t swim & has to play lifeguard

apologises for almost killing felix by cooking the meanest fish anyone’s ever had

SYLVAIN

also gets caught ogling you & other people in their swimsuits. is he embarrassed? no. you look good and he’s letting you know that

definitely throws you into the water and pretends to be a shark, grabbing your feet - laughs if you scream, laughs if you don’t. it’s funny to him either way

offers to put sunscreen on everyone’s backs. no exceptions. most people say no, but dimitri said yes. sylvain was very happy to do it

gets madly sunburnt. he’s as red as a lobster and everyone has a great time slapping him. cried and whines for you to put some aloe vera on him and won’t stop pestering you for the rest of the day

sits at the waterside with you in the evening, watching the sun go down over the water, & he falls asleep on your shoulder

FELIX

keeps briefly glancing in your direction to see what you look like in your swimwear. likes to think that he wasn’t caught but he definitely was

his arm doesn’t leave your waist for the entire day and he glares off anyone who dares stare at you for more than three seconds

digs a really deep hole in the middle of the beach. quite a few people have fallen down it and he starts laughing

ends up dropping his sunglasses down there but he forces sylvain to go down and retrieve them so it turned out fine

begs you to run across the beach with him because running over sand is better exercise. if you pass out, he’ll carry you bridal style back to where everyone’s sitting and the entire house is just like aww :)

ASHE

grabs your hand and immediately drags you down to the ocean to paddle. he wants to show off his knowledge of little fish and seaweed

off topic but ashe is definitely one of those people that know loads about a topic that nobody else has ever bothered to research. seaweed? birch trees? strawberries? the more random it gets, the more facts he knows

gets salt in his eye and sits down for the rest of the day, cursing himself for being so awkward and unlucky

when you come to his rescue with some stuff to get rid of the burning, he thinks god’s looking out for him. he thinks his luck is now shooting through the ceiling

also falls asleep in the sand and gets sunburnt. everyone probably forgets that he’s asleep and they move the umbrella up the beach due to the tide coming in. he’s woken up by the water tickling his stomach

MERCEDES

thinks you look amazing in your swimwear and loudly proclaims it in front of everyone & makes sure that everyone knows how cute you are

practically runs with you towards the food stalls, buying everything and somehow managing to hold it all in her hands

miraculously doesn’t get sunburnt. she’s actually god. the sun is afraid of her

pushes you around on a floatie and almost gets you both stranded in the middle of the ocean (dedue came to your rescue)

enjoys picking seashells the most. makes sure to show you all the prettiest ones & gives annette the sparkly ones

ANNETTE

gets the most sunburnt out of everyone, along with sylvain. it’s probably because they’re ginger, but also because they just don’t put sunscreen on

tries to fish in the ocean and actually manages to catch one?? it’s kind of small but she feels so accomplished that it becomes all she talks about for the rest of the day

has one of those fights where she sits on your shoulders and fights felix on top of sylvain and wins

also eats the most ice cream out of everyone & makes a song about it. felix cries

INGRID

has about ten layers of sunscreen on because she’s too afraid to get burnt. she’s seen what’s happened to the gingers and she fears she’s next

builds a huge sand castle just for sylvain to fall over and smash it

just sits on a sun lounger and reads. everyone calls her boring and her feelings are hurt but she doesn’t want to get dirty in the sand

eventually, you’ll have to drag her out and make her have fun. she only allows it because it’s you, though

solos dimitri in a spade-fencing war. his spade breaks due to his immense strength and she took full advantage of that

i bought castlevania on the weekend & it’s the hardest thing ever. i can’t get through a boss fight without a) not having enough time or b) not having enough hearts. i’m stuck on medusa in the first game if anyone can help :(

DIMITRI

he’s the prince of faerghus. of course he’s going to have a load of money to spend on you.

every time you both go out to the town, he immediately buys anything you set your eyes on.

either that, or he buys it in secret, just to see your smile when he surprises you with it

he loves to see you smile. he went so long without one that he’d just do anything to put one on your face

since he’s not very good with words or actions, he’s very glad that he can get his love across with the huge amount money that he’s been cursed with

DEDUE

will cook/bake you anything you want at any time. he’s very willing to spoil you with food

he’s alright with spoiling you with gifts, but he’s not very good at deciding what’s a good gift and what’s a bad one

i’ll give you an example - one day, he bought you a hammer, thinking that hammers were useful and were therefore good gifts. he chose the hammer over a sweet little bracelet that you could both have matched with.

he knows that you like his cooking, and he enjoys cooking, so that’s the easy way out of it. he loves spoiling you that way.

i’m afraid i’ve long since given up on writing long fics, BUT i can try and do some bullet points instead!! (which is… literally just a long fic but written in bullet points….)

this is a very interesting quote + i didn’t want to pass it up lmao

there are no bargains between lion and men - you’d remembered reading that in the library of the monastery, long ago in your school days.

now, as an esteemed member of the blue lion army, this quote seemed to make more sense; there wasn’t any mercy on the battlefield, friend or no friend.

killing off the people that you’d merely seen the faces of was easy and you’d yet to come across someone whom you’d actually cared about, but you hoped that there wouldn’t ever arise a situation like that.

well, you knew that there’d be some hard times in this war, but you had no idea it’d be this hard.

stood right in front of you was none other than your previous lover, claude von riegan himself - someone who, dimitri had said, had to go, due to not knowing what his plans were.

you knew what you had to do, but it was a question of whether or not you could do it.

the way he looked at you with the same eyes he looked at you with before - full of love, sympathy, and mercy.

it made your heart flutter, but your head filled with rage - there wasn’t any time for bargains, you reminded yourself.

claude seemed to pick up on your steeled nerves and smirked, putting his bow away and walking up to you with his hands up.

“i’m not here to kill you,” he tells you, “killing isn’t necessary for us. we just want your help.”

you stayed quiet for a minute, listening to what he was saying.

his smirk only seemed to grow as he spoke. “all we need is the blue lions’ assistance to take down edelgard. we can share fodlan, can’t we? fifty-fifty? - look, all i’m saying is that we shouldn’t kill each other over this. it’s stupid. can’t we just-”

he was cut off by you knocking him to the floor, digging your sword in the space just beside his neck. claude’s eyes widened in surprise - not quite fear - as you said,

“there aren’t any bargains between lion and men. i will kill you, and i’ll eat you raw.”

despite the fierce look on your face, it didn’t seem like he was taking you seriously. you pulled up your sword, holding it above his head, pointing the blade down at his neck

he only laughed. his hands raised again, and he whispered, “god, you’re beautiful even when you’re threatening to eat me. i know you won’t actually do it, so why don’t you-”

he stopped again, your sword dug even closer to his neck this time - “i mean every word i say. don’t underestimate me, riegan.”

claude’s smirk vanished, and he finally looked like he was taking you seriously. he had a habit of trying to smooth talk his way out of everything, and it was something you’d come to despise.

he sighed. “if only things were a little different,” he whispered, “if only we were on the same team. i wish we’d stayed together - i wish we’d stuck together throughout these past few years, and i wish that we could all just be happy.”

typical of him to spurt out some nonsense about living in peace and harmony, you thought, even though you could agree with him - things would be a lot better if this huge war wasn’t going on.

but the only way this was going to end was if you won, and there was only one way to do so.

and that wasn’t through bargains.

“you know, i really did love you. i still do. i have loved you for six years, and i’ll love you for sixty times six more years. say, perhaps when this is over, you and i could run off to almyra for a bit - for the rest of our lives! think of the family we’ll have, our family! imagine that! imagine us-”

slash! he was cut off a third time.

blood splattered everywhere - on the ground around you, pooling around your legs and around claude, and splashing up your armour.

you’d killed claude. that was one less house fighting in this war. you’d done what you had to do.

his eyes - his beautiful eyes - were closed for good, and a smile still frozen onto his cold face. the hands that held yours would hold no others.

you’d told him you meant it. why didn’t he listen?

someone who doesn’t judge him for his past! obviously that’s a given, but he seriously appreciates it when people don’t give him pity or trouble whenever he opens up to them

he’d want someone who he could completely let his guard down around. someone who he could tell all of his darkest secrets, and someone who he could let himself be vulnerable around

finally, he’d want someone that would love him just for who he was. someone who wouldn’t try to change him and someone who didn’t make him feel like he had to change - he’s happy with how far he’s come since he recovered, and he’s not willing to push himself too far just yet

DEDUE

someone who’s also interested in gardening, obviously - having someone who has the same interests as him would help get him out of his shell tremendously

not that he’d ever admit it, but he also likes people who’re willing to stand up for themselves and/or their opinion. he’s always been on the quiet side, and just lets people say what they want, even if he disagrees - he has a huge respect for people who stand up for what they believe in

finally, someone who’s kind to everyone!! he’ll feel horrible if he gets some kind of special treatment & he won’t even give you a second glance if you’re nasty to any of his friends

SYLVAIN

he likes to say that everyone is his type but we all know that that’s a lie

definitely likes people with a bit more brain to them - he doesn’t actually care about looks at all, and intelligence is incredibly attractive to him

he also would like someone who he can have intelligent discussions with. i know i always mention this (+ you’re probably all bored of hearing it) but sylvain IS smart & he loves a good debate

FELIX

someone who can hold their own in battle. he’s not defending you if you’re not even going to try, i’m sorry

he likes to think that he’d want someone just as moody as he is, but i think he’d be a lot happier with someone a lot sunnier - someone who’d bring some joy into his life

finally, he’d want someone who wouldn’t judge him for wanting to act tough and hard in front of other people. he’d like someone who could understand him, and not make fun of him when he lets his guard down around them

ASHE

ashe probably wouldn’t be able to cope with someone incredibly overbearing and protective - he doesn’t mind loud or eccentric people, but if you’re constantly over his shoulder, he’s going to get a bit fed up

he would probably want someone who isn’t extremely protective since he likes being able to protect himself + holding his own in battle, but he does like being taken care of now and again

he’d also want someone who can sit down & be quiet with him - everyone knows that he enjoys reading fables and stories, and having someone that shares that interest and is willing to read quietly with him is very appealing to him

i have been ITCHING to talk about this for ages 😭 dad hcs are my favourite things

CLAUDE

the best dad there is, no question about it. he’s a natural with the children around the monastery, and his dream since you both got together was to marry you & start a family

takes his children to work with him and he sits in important meetings with them in his lap, occasionally bending down to give them a kiss or to squish their cheeks

gives them piggybacks around the castle, waving at all of the servants - they wave back of course, and seeing claude with his toddler is the cutest thing they’ve ever seen

the sound of their joint laughter can be heard from anywhere in the castle and it’s loud enough to bring joy to the most miserable person’s day

claude’s most favourite thing of all is waking up to both you and his child next to him, and being able to admire the little family he’s created

you’ll often be able to find him in the sitting room, holding his baby to his chest, gently rocking them back and forth to go to sleep - most of the time, he’s asleep too, but he always invites you to join them whenever he can keep his eyes open

always takes the child out to see the people of his country and everyone loves it. he gets thousands of comments saying that he and the child look exactly like one another & claude is basking in it

is always there to comfort his kid when they need it - a nightmare? he’s right there, beside them in their bed, reading them a quiet bedtime story. someone said something mean at school? they never bother them again.

definitely calls then “kiddo” or “little dude”. uses dad language right from the start

he has like five children (or even more if you’re still down). he can’t get enough of these little creatures you’ve made together & won’t stop until the entire palace is full of laughter

LORENZ

his parents never really treated him like a son, but rather like the next in line to their position, so he has a difficult time being kind to his children in turn

is always doting on them - making sure that they’re dressed warm or cool depending on the weather, making sure that they eat properly, and making sure that they go to sleep happy

is the type of dad to sit by the fire reading the newspaper with dorky glasses, looking up occasionally to watch his children playing nearby

insists that he’s not soft for his children but literally everyone can hear him doing a baby voice for them from a mile away

likes to show them off to claude, who thinks that they’re absolutely adorable. tells them that they’re much cuter than their father which cheeses lorenz off so badly

claude’s children also enjoy tugging on lorenz’s hair, which he insists annoys him, but everyone can see the gentle smile on his face - lorenz is also a big softie for children too

cannot say no to his children. there’s no chance that, if they give him big puppy eyes, he can deny them whatever they’re asking for

often ends up letting them sleep in your bed for the night, which is always a cute image to wake up to - lorenz and the toddler, lying on his chest, sleeping soundly

their matching violet hair is also a sight to see - they both get many compliments on that whenever you go outside, much to lorenz’ pleasure. he makes sure to take care of their appearance just as much as his own

just… don’t let him cut the kid’s hair. please don’t. please.

RAPHAEL

the best dad to play with, hands down. his children and the children of the other golden deer always come running into his arms to be picked up and swung around

he’s like a jungle gym with no bounds. everytime he goes outside, or every time the golden deer bring their children, he’s got five toddlers hanging onto something and he’s clearly enjoying it

his children are all well fed & they all have the chubbiest cheeks in the world. all the old ladies in his hometown and most of the golden deer enjoy squishing them & they’re definitely not to blame

always carries his children around on his shoulders proudly around his house and around the town, showing off how proud he is to everyone

his children are absolutely his pride and joy and he’d do anything to help them in any way - he’s always there for them, no matter what else he needs to do

encourages them to be open about their problems, and to always be polite and honest. you’ve probably never seen more polite children in your life

his children are also best friends with ignatz’s children. they’re just as loud and overbearing as raph is with ignatz - it’s wholesome to look at

mealtimes are always the happiest times of the day, with the brighrest smile on raph’s while he laughs very heartily - your children also laugh along with him, and learn to enjoy the simple times with family

IGNATZ

his children are just as quiet and as awkward as he is, but they’re just as talented and kind too

he makes sure to bring them up to be sensible, kind-hearted people - however, raphael’s children’s influence always seems to make them a bit less sensible every time they hang out together

free time is always spent in the garden, with ignatz painting the surrounding scenery, and his children at his side, desperately trying to paint just like him, even at their young age

they look up to their father so much & he can never believe it, even though he can tell how much of an influence he has on them

their first word is “paint” or “blue” or something artsy like that. it’s never anything normal with him

they inherit his poor eyesight & it’s always a big hassle trying to find so many pairs of glasses at once

only sticks with one or two children because he doesn’t know if his heart can take any more cuteness. the main focus of his paintings after his first child arrives is definitely his children

makes sure to read to them every night, even if he’s incredibly busy - will run straight from a meeting if he knows it’s bedtime for his children. nobody minds because it’s actually really wholesome to see ignatz wrapped around his children’s fingers
