Waspinator/Reader Pt. 2

Life was finally looking up for Waspinator.

He had miraculously escaped the Predacon base with you in tow, alluding Megatron's clutches by having disabled your tracker. Not as if it really mattered. The t-rex knew exactly where the two of you were headed. For as stupid as he was, Megatron wasn't dumb enough to launch a full scale attack on a Sentinel protected Maximal base.

Waspinator's days were no longer filled with dread and hopelessness, but rather your dazzling smiles and tender touches. He was greeted every morning with the sight of you nestled into his side. Your sleeping face - angelic and ethereal. His mandibles would twitch gleefully as you cracked your eyes as you came to your senses, his cooing and the purring of his engine stirring you slowly awake.

Like so many other mornings, today was no different. Waspinator beamed down at you as you blinked to consciousness. Traces of sleep were evident in your smile and voice as you greeted your bot, "Morning, lovebug."

"Hrnzz good morning, fleshy bot." His arm around you gave you a light squeeze as he buried his face in your tousled hair. "Did fleshy bot zzleep well?"

You giggled at the tickling sensation of his words on your scalp. "I slept well, thank you for asking. Though, I am a little hungry." As if to prove your point, your stomach let out a growl. Laughing at the comedic timing, you untangled yourself from the grasp of both the blanket and Waspinator.

"No problem!! Letzz go steal from the Maximalzz food zztorage!" His optics squinted mischievously.

"It's not exactly stealing if they're letting us take from their storage, sweetheart."

"Hmmzz-" he scratched his chin in thought, "Waspinator zzuposes fleshy bot is right."

Grinning, you extended your hand for him to take. "Now that we settled that, let's go eat!" With Waspinator in tow, you exited your room and walked towards the small eating area the Maximals had created ever since gaining their half-organic forms.

The two of you had been happily chatting and eating when Cheetor prowled in from his usual morning patrol.

“Hey Cheetor! Anything interesting out there?” You waved the big cat over to where you and Waspinator were sitting.

“Sup shortstack! . . .And uh, hi to you too.” Cheetor gave the briefest of glances towards the green bot. Instead, opting to focus his fuzzy face on you. “No, nothing fun to report. But I could always take you with me on my next patrol! It definitely beats hanging out here all day.”

It was impossible to miss the way Waspinator’s wings buzzed in irritation at the feline’s remark. As irritated as Waspinator was, he knew better than to pick an outright fight with the people currently hosting the two of you. Without the Maximal base, not much would stand between the pair of you and Megatron’s ire.

Wishing to defuse the tension you gave a light laugh before answering Cheetor. “Thank you but I like it here, truly!” You nudged Waspinator’s side with your elbow, “And the company is pretty great too.” It wasn’t really the whole truth. You were getting a bit stir crazy to be completely honest but saying that would only serve to make Waspinator feel worse. Thankfully it seemed you said the right thing, evident by the way your insectoid bot had a smug look on his face to which Cheetor only quietly scoffed.

Emboldened and wishing to rub in Cheetor’s face the fact that you chose him over the cat bot, he turned to you with a happy squint of his optics “Fleshy bot come with Wazzpinator to get more food now, yes?”

It would be obvious by one look at your plates that the two of you were nowhere near done eating. You briefly wondered if your sweet bug understood how much of an open book he was. Knowing what he was up to, you could do nothing else but smile at his antics.

“That sounds like a great idea, lovebug.”

Welcome back to transformers fanfic (I found your blog during your hiatus, and I love your older work). Since requests are open, could you possibly write some soft MTMTE Drift headcannons of him watching a movie with a human reader? I’ve been a bit down recently, so I would really appreciate it.

Drift is willing to watch all of your favorites, even if he doesn't quite see the same appeal in them that you do. Depending on what your comfort movies are, he's gonna react differently. 

He's not sure why a brutal horror movie would be comforting, especially if you spend half of it cringing and hiding behind your hands, but hey if it floats your boat. Comedies aren't a bad choice to watch with him, some jokes don't land as well without the context of having lived on Earth, but some things are universally funny so he enjoys them enough even if some of the humor is… questionable. If you watch some of the more heart wrenching romantic movies he gets fairly invested, but the cheesy one's he'll good-naturedly tease you for liking even if he did enjoy some of them himself. Intense, dramatic movies that feature journeys of self-discovery and have more open endings are a particular favorite of his if you happen to put them on.

To ensure the best possible viewing experience, he sets up a projector in his hab suite so you can enjoy a more private viewing. There are movie nights for the whole crew but they can get pretty rowdy and that's not the kind of evening you two are looking for. More than one movie night has ended in a brawl.

His berth is lined with a plethora of cushions and blankets that have been sourced from various planets you've visited. Drift has plenty of money and he's more than happy to splurge on creature comforts like these and it's nice to go shopping for them together. He's also spared no expense on getting your favorite treats for the night, regardless of how much effort it took to source them. The way you light up when he presents them to you is worth every penny.

Whether you start out the night sitting next to him in a heap of blankets or nestled in his lap surrounded by pillows, you will end up sprawled across his chest by the end of the night. He lays out plenty of your soft cushions and blankets atop himself so that you can maintain maximum comfort while cuddling against his much harder frame. It's hard not to fall asleep like that in the middle of the movie since he'll absent-mindedly start stroking your back.

He doesn't mind talking during movies and will happily discuss the plot as it's happening, but if you're too focused on the story to speak he's just as good with silent viewing. He's particularly fond of when you get excited and point out your favorite scenes, making sure to pay special attention to those parts of the movie.

If you want to make watching movies together a regular occurrence, he'd agree immediately and would be delighted to help you pick what to watch in the future. Rewatching movies you've seen before or finding something new to view are both fine with him, it's spending quality time together that's important.

Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

Like most others on the crew your life has been changed drastically, for the better you'd say, thanks to Luffy. As childish and simple minded as he may be, he's never wanted anything less than the best for those he cares about and whatever burdens you bear, he'd be there to help.

Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Despite all the advice he's received from the others (some of which you had to very quickly unteach him) your first kiss with him could be described, at best, as sloppy. He gets better over time but he's always just a little too enthusiastic, and you end up bumping noses or teeth more often than not, though you can't find it in you to be bothered. 

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

Luffy comes right out and says he likes you as soon as it occurs to him that he likes you in a way different to the rest of the crew. The others, namely Sanji, Nami and Usopp, are exasperated that he didn't do anything more romantic, but Luffy is Luffy and you two seem happy enough so they can't complain. 

On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Luffy has always been straightforward with his feelings. If he doesn't like someone, he'd tell them point blank. If he saw someone as a friend, then they were his friend, regardless of whether or not they wanted that title. Romantic feelings are a new ballpark for him but he knows for certain that he always has a better time when you're around so he spends more time around you. He doesn't overthink things, when he wants to kiss you, he goes and kisses you, when he wants a hug, he hugs you, to him it's all very simple. That is, once he's figured out what it was he was feeling towards you. It was equal parts painful and hilarious (one more so than the other depending on who you asked) for the rest of the crew to watch you two slowly realize that you'd fallen for each other.

Hello! I was wondering if you could do an Obey me (Lucifer, Satan, and Mammon) with them being jealous and ranting to there s/o about it and there s/o kisses them to just make them be quiet about it, how would they react? Thank you in advance!

Lucifer

Admitting that he was jealous of how much time you were spending with his brothers would be a blow to his pride. Vulnerability in any shape or form is something he struggles with, even after you two begin dating. He doesn't rant but he is in the middle of making a "casual" comment on how you're free to spend your time how you please, only to be cut-off by the press of your lips against his. He indulges in the kiss for a few moments but when he pulls back he tells you that it's rude to interrupt people when they're talking. His countenance is a tad brighter than before though and there's a slight, satisfied smirk on his face so you know he's been appeased.

Satan

Satan only really rants when recounting some time his wrath was invoked and remembering how mad he was, makes him mad again. Jealousy is unbecoming of him and it's different than the usual white hot rage he so often feels, more of an acidic weight that sits unpleasantly in his chest whenever his brothers monopolize your attention for too long. He does his best to restrain himself in front of you but as his brothers continue to intrude upon his time with you his anger starts to pick up steam and he starts to excuse himself only to be silenced by your kiss. You keep it brief, just a quick peck as he's not one for PDA, and like that his anger is gone. He's quite content to sit back now, comfortable in the knowledge that even if the others continue to take up your time, only he gets to experience this side of you.

Mammon

Mammon is not at all hesitant or afraid to voice his complaints and this is hardly the first time he's ranted about being your first man, the one most deserving of your affection, and it likely won't be the last. Despite the front he puts up you're well aware of the fact that his insecurities often get the best of him, especially when it comes to having to compete with his brothers for your time. Luckily you're skilled in the art of simultaneously getting him to quiet down and cheer up. All it takes is for the faintest brush of your lips against his and his rant is derailed, forgotten in favor of chasing after your lips when you pull back. His face is flushed and he's having somewhat of a hard time meeting your eyes with his, but he insists that he's the Avatar of Greed and you can't expect him to be satisfied with one measly little kiss that was so brief it hardly even counted. He's quick to forget whatever it was he'd been talking about when you enthusiastically oblige his request.

Hello! Love your blog! Wondering if I could request Ace/Sabo (individually) when they see that their long time marine friend (who they developed feelings for) chooses them over their duty, (like if they were ordered by an admiral to execute them in battle, and they refuse?) I honestly just really like star crossed lover trope with a happy ending haha...

I got a little carried away writing Ace's part and ran out of steam but if you would still like me to write the Sabo one just drop me an ask!

Garp had tried time and time again to convince both Ace and Luffy to become marines. He'd never made any headway in convincing them but you were a different case. Ace had always been clear about his intentions to set sail as a pirate and you'd been equally vocal in your desire to become a marine, but when you eventually parted ways in pursuit of your dreams it was amicable. 

You two ran into each other multiple times over the years, both coincidentally and on purpose. You often spent time together in tiny port towns, catching up with each other. Garp went out of his way to ensure that you were never assigned any missions involving the Whitebeard pirates and Ace's crewmates knew better than to engage you in a fight.

You're currently assigned to the transport ship they use to escort high level criminals when news of Ace's capture spreads. You're there when Blackbeard tosses Ace, bloodied and unconscious, into the brig, his grating laughter ringing in your ears as you fight back the urge to launch yourself at him.

Not only are you one of Garp's protégés, a status that places you far above the average recruit, but you are strong in your own right, known by your peers as a competent, powerful rookie who is destined to rise through the ranks. It's why no one sees it coming when you creep into the brig in the middle of the night, knocking out the guards before they can even realize what's going on, and free Ace from his shackles. He's still a mess from his fight with Blackbeard and drifting in and out of consciousness but you manage to carry him to the deck, dodging past patrolling guards until you make it to the small ship tied to the side.

You've settled Ace into the boat and for a moment you think that you might be able to make a clean getaway but the abrupt, piercing shrill of the alarm dashes your hopes. You rush to lower the boat but before you can release the clamps there are dozens of marines on the deck. The vast majority of them are visibly shocked and confused though there are some who are already glaring at you, weapons clutched in white knuckled grips. The vice admiral currently in charge of the transport ship, a friend of Garp's who had agreed to take you on as a favor, steps forward, looking sad even as he unholstered his flintlock.

"You know there’s no going back.”

You do. You’re fully aware that once you leave this ship, your career is over and you will be labeled a traitor, worse than even the most villainous scum locked up in the depths of Impel Down. But you also know that if you step back down, let this blow over as a brief lapse in judgment, that they will kill him, and you can’t watch him die. 

You give one last salute, coat flapping in the wind, and then the small ship you’re on crashes down onto the sea below, skipping over the waves as you use your devil fruit to propel it forward. By the time the first cannon is fired you’re already out of range and the other ship quickly disappears into the darkness.

You're familiar with Whitebeard's territory and quickly set a course to the nearest island under his protection. It'll be another day and a half till you get there, sooner if you forgo rest and use your devil fruit to keep the ship moving at top speed, but you've put plenty of distance between you and the transport ship so for now you're focused on patching Ace up to the best of your abilities. You'd had the foresight to stash some supplies on board before enacting your rescue plan and you're thankful that you did because Ace's wounds are extensive and he'd been given no medical treatment after his capture.

The sun is just barely starting to rise, painting the sky in shades of pink, orange, and yellow. Your adrenaline has faded and you're exhausted but unwilling to sleep and you've preoccupied yourself with tending to Ace's more superficial injuries. You're so focused on cleaning a series of small cuts on his face that you don't even notice that he's begun to stir and it's not until you glance up at his eyes, which are open and trained on you, that you realize he's finally awake. You instinctively move to pull back but he catches your hand in his, weaving his fingers between yours and trapping your palm against his cheek.

"Hey." His smile is more tired and worn than it usually is but it's no less sincere and you take a moment to just look at him, this man you've loved since you were children, who you just came very close to losing.

There's no hesitation when you move to kiss him and Ace responds just as easily, free hand cupping your face as he moves his thumb to brush away some of the tears that now fall freely from your eyes. Later you two will need to talk about your feelings for each other, feelings that have largely remained unspoken over the years you've known each other. You will have to discuss what your new status as fugitive entails, how to deal with Blackbeard who remains at large, and a myriad of other things that will ripple out into the world as a consequence of your actions. But for now it is just the two of you, out on the open sea.

Sabo

While he appears to be distracted, he's always acutely aware of his surroundings and whenever you do manage to get the drop on him it's because he let you. He knows you're following him and he pretends not to notice as you draw closer. When you push his hat over his eyes he laughs and goes to fix it, assuming that's the extent of your little prank. The press of your lips against his genuinely catches him off guard and he fumbles to try and catch you before you skip back out of his reach. There's a red flush to his face and he looks rather flustered but his smile is bright and happy when he steps forward to draw you in for another kiss.

Ace

One of Ace's favorite things to do is tease you until you get worked up enough to try and shut him up. When you shove his hat down over his face after another one of his many flirtatious comments his lazy smile remains unchanged and when you dart in to kiss him he's quick enough to wrap an arm around your waist before you can move away again, using his free hand to knock his hat back so it's out of the way. The kiss is languid and unhurried, the movement of his hand sliding up to cup the back of your head equally casual. When he finally pulls back you're both panting lightly and his freckles are highlighted by the red staining his cheeks.

Luffy

Luffy often does dumb things that you can't help but find endearing, no matter how often Nami scolds him for doing it and you for encouraging him. He's just done something that is sure to bring her wrath down upon the both of you but you ignore your impending doom in favor of tipping his hat down over his eyes. You take a moment to appreciate the way he pouts up at you before swooping in to kiss him. He immediately forgets about complaining about your treatment of his hat in favor of wrapping you in his arms, laughing even as he leans into the kiss.

Activities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

Quietly reading together is always a welcomed activity. The castle is chilly, especially at night, and it's not uncommon for you to curl up by his side in front of a crackling fire and occasionally he can be talked into reading out loud to you.

Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

Jealousy would be unbecoming of him and an affront to you. He has no reason to distrust you and therefore no reason to be jealous.

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

Mihawk is not a particularly vocal man and his confession is simple and to the point, though it is delivered in a manner much gentler than his usual. He holds a strong dislike for public displays and wants for you two to have some privacy, though he's also sure to leave you both an opening to exit gracefully if you don't return his feelings.

Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

While marriage isn't a necessity in his eyes, it is not something he'd be opposed to either. His proposal, much like his confession, is simple in nature. It's a morning like any other and he takes your hand in his to place his customary kiss on your inner wrist, but when he draws away there's a simple golden ring resting on your palm.

Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

He does nothing in half measures, and his commitment to you is absolute. He won't compromise his ideals for you, but he wouldn't have been attracted to you in the first place if you'd been unwilling to accept what his title meant.

Hi there! I love you blog! May I request some Headcanons of Sabo falling in love with their s/o, please? (Like, how does he know, what defining traits of theirs made him fall, how he would go about asking them out) thank you for your time! You rock!

The thing about you that really caught Sabo’s attention was your resolve. He and his fellow revolutionaries are all 100% committed to their cause and to see how your will matches the intensity of his own is captivating. 

At first he writes off the way his thoughts keep straying to you as admiration for the work you do for the revolutionary army. He’s goal oriented so he’s never really given any thought to pursuing a romantic relationship, to the point where he initially doesn’t even recognize that he’s developing feelings for you.

There’s no particular moment in which he realizes that his emotions have shifted from being platonic, he simply looks over at you smiling and laughing next to him one day and realizes that he would do anything to protect you and make sure you can keep on smiling like that.

Now that he’s fully aware of his feelings he’s also painfully aware of your presence and his reactions to the things you say and do. His heart skips a beat when your fingers brush against his when you hand him something, after a battle his first instinct is to make sure you’re fine, what little free time he has he always wants to spend with you, and he can’t help but blush when you show him affection.

Before he regained his memories he would have continually put off confessing to you, always having some sort of excuse when Koala or anyone else asked him why he was hesitating. After Ace’s death though he’s realized how important it is to not waste time, so once he gets a solid grasp on his feelings and you both have a break between missions at the same time then he takes the chance to ask you out.

He keeps it simple, rather than going for some grand, sweeping gesture. He takes you to a nice, secluded spot where the forest ends and the beach begins, the waves crashing against the shore being the only sound to break the silence. 

In the days leading up to this moment he’d been nervous but now he feels perfectly calm as he puts his heart on the line. He doesn’t stumble over his words or blush at all when he tells you that he’s developed feelings for you and that he wanted you to know, regardless of whether or not you returned them. His cool demeanor is only broken when you respond by leaning in and kissing him, his face flushing instantly when you pull back.

Ace

He likes to play it cool and tease you, which sometimes works out for him, but other times it backfires on him and he ends up being the one to be flustered.

He rarely bothers to wear them but he does own some shirts, contrary to popular belief amongst everyone who has ever met him. During an after battle party someone spills their drink on you and Ace offers you the use of his room to change and the option of picking whichever of his shirts you’d like to wear.

He’d done it partially because it was the right thing to do, partially because he wanted to tease you about wearing his clothes. He didn’t take into account how seeing you in his shirt would affect him and as soon as you walk back out onto the deck he turns red and the rest of the crew takes immediate notice and starts picking on him.

Sabo

Of the three, he’s the easiest to fluster. Occasionally, just the sight of you giving him a sweet smile is enough to have his face turn red.

You two are out on an assignment which requires you to go undercover as a married couple. You’re actually dating so the disguise shouldn’t be that difficult, but the added part about being married is throwing Sabo off. The idea of living with you in domestic bliss is overwhelming in the best way possible.

For the most part he has his reactions under control but the first time you introduced Sabo as your husband and yourself as his spouse his face lit up like a stoplight. The older couple you were chatting with commented on how cute newly weds are and how young love is wonderful and it only made him blush harder.

Luffy

He doesn’t have an ounce of shame so nothing you could ever do would really fluster him. In fact it’s far more likely that he’ll fluster you, though it’s unintentional.

You’re in the middle of talking with Nami while the rest of the crew parties around you when Luffy launches himself across the ship, catching everyone’s attention in the process, just to give you a rather sloppy kiss on the cheek. Franky lets out a wolf whistle and that sets everyone else off, all of them chiming in with their own opinions.

You don’t think your face can get any hotter but Luffy just laughs at everyone’s reactions and then pulls you in for an actual kiss before skipping off, demanding that Sanji make more meat. At this point you wouldn’t be surprised if your face actually burst into flames.

The first time you grabbed onto his hand after he had kissed the back of yours, just to bring his hand up to your lips and press a kiss to it, he nearly exploded out of sheer joy. He tends to shower others with praise and affection but he’s never really had it turned around on him, so for you to do so is a pleasant surprise.

You always have something nice to say and always follow up your compliments with a gentle touch, and he just soaks up all of that positive attention like a sponge, even if it’s something as simple as you thanking him for dinner and giving him a pat on the back. 

You'd think that a few months or so into your friendship he'd be used to receiving your affection but he reacts with the same intensity every time, fervently singing your praises to anyone close enough to hear him. It’s gotten to the point where he has literal hearts in his eyes whenever you so much as walk by.

For him, the best way to show his appreciation for all that you do is by making you all your favorite foods. He doesn’t just do it at mealtimes, he also makes snacks throughout the day for you, and you alone. If Luffy so much as looks at the food he prepared specially for you, it’s on sight. 

He daydreams a lot about you hugging him or giving him a kiss on the cheek, getting deep within the fantasy until someone on the crew (typically Luffy or Zoro) inevitably pisses him off and bursts his bubble. His #1 fantasy is you running up to him and throwing your arms around him after he thoroughly beats Zoro in a fight.

Zoro

Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Zoro is not at all a fan of pda so the first time you two kissed it was in a private setting. Once he’s made up his mind about something he doesn’t hesitate but you could still sense some underlying tension when he finally pressed his lips to yours, though it quickly faded away once you returned the kiss. His approach on kissing is similar to his approach on training, he’s determined to master it and the longer you’re together the better he gets at kissing.

Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?

He’s not really one for cute pet names, the only nickname he might use is if you have a shortened version of your name that everyone calls you

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

When you’re gone for extended periods of time he trains and naps even more than usual, a feat you didn’t actually think was possible. Beyond that he doesn’t really give any other indications that he misses you though the rest of the crew has known him long enough to know that he definitely does.

Law

Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Your first kiss with Law was very slow and sensual, there’d been quite a bit of buildup to it and he took his time to make sure you’d never forget it. He was a good kisser from the start and over time he learned all the things you specifically liked and is always sure to use them. 

Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?

He’s also not really one for cute nicknames, the closest he’ll get is adding -ya to the end of your name when you first met though over time he drops it and just calls you by your name

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

He doesn’t sleep as well when you’re gone which means he’s even more tired then usual, which makes him less likely to tolerate any shenanigans. If any one were to pick a fight with the crew he’d take out his frustration on them with no remorse. Outside of fights he spends more time going through his medical texts, even the ones he’s read before, just for something to do.

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o? 

If Law had his way he would inform you of his feelings privately during a more understated moment. Unfortunately for him he’s surrounded himself with people like Luffy which means quiet moments are rare so it takes longer than he would have liked to actually get you alone.

Activities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

If you don’t mind just sitting quietly with him while he goes through medical texts and makes plans for your journey through the Grandline then you’re welcome to join him. For more involved activities then he doesn’t mind scoping out new islands with you or having dinner at a restaurant with just the two of you, no crewmates around.

Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

He sleeps best when you’re by his side. If you’re ever separated for some reason then he doesn’t sleep as well. He’s very relieved when you find your way back to each other and the first night of your reunion he sleeps better than he has in the entire time you’ve been gone.
