I get that some of you just think it's cute to have Bart Allen being uncharacteristically ignorant and naive about mature themes (even swearing) to the point of making him infantile, and you are genuinely not intending to be ableist, and are not intending to perpetuate that neurodiverse characters are infantile or participate in widespread ableist commentary surrounding people who are neurodiverse - but it is ableism.

It's not cute, it does nothing for anyone, you do not need to do this to prop up a ship that is already sailing, and there is no basis for this in ANY canon.

1.) She's revealed to not actually be the bad guy after all and is a foil to an even bigger bad guy and is a good guy after all. 🙄

2.) She's actually a Fury from Apokolips and is doing Darkseid's bidding.

3.) She is the second human to contain the entire Anti-life equation in her head.

4.) She suddenly gets meta powers herself and backtracks on everything she stands for because 'she's one of them now.'

5.) She gets powers but maintains her policies as "The rules are for thee but not for me."

6.) She is revealed to have had powers all along.

7.) She's the daughter of Granny Goodness (????) 8.) She's from the far past or future.

9.) She's in a relationship with The Joker.

10.) Absolutely nothing meaningful or interesting happens with her character in the slightest with this arc and we're all left annoyed.

I absolutely think the Flashfam can do the cat thing and like…. lie on top of their loved ones and purr to accelerate their healing btw. We already know that being a speedster’s lightning rod gives longevity, so really healing broken bones under a week with a nice cuddle isn’t a stretch.

Also, the believability and functionality of Waller as a concept just doesn't WORK even in a story where people can fucking fly. She's turned into a Joker character where the believability of her character is preposterous and now officially lost. I can't believe this would work. I can't believe this would fly. Not even in their world.

I do not understand why they're committing to this storyline, it really doesn't make sense to me within like. Basically anything actually.

Like, narratively it's boring but in universe too it's both infeasible and unreasonable to do so. Genuinely what can you do against someone who can time travel, people who can do twice the amount of damage of a nuclear bomb in half the time it takes to detonate. And what are you going to do against the next statistically very likely catastrophic disaster that won't care about sanctions.
