This was an experiment and I’m hoping to try it again to see if I can perfect it the way I’d like when I have more understanding of shapes. This piece requires a lot more work but I don’t think my paper can handle anymore of the eraser. 😪 Oh! This is supposed to be Zelda.. Wish me luck in learning. ✌️ #portraitdrawing #drawing #art #artistsoninstagram #sketch #legendofzelda #zelda #learningartist https://www.instagram.com/p/BxDnbiTnYqL/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=fqd18pku3w2u

I’m proud of this one but doesn’t stop me catching those flaws. Must continue to draw! 🤯🥴 #portraitdrawing #art #drawing #sketch #artistsoninstagram #sketchbook https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw7W8OPH6Nl/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1pw0bhxj4peib

Back on the ball. Been working on some sketching. Hoping to get back in the groove. I’m on the road to learning anatomy, little by little. #sketch #sketchbook #drawing #anatomy #portrait #pencildrawing https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw2BzopnYMi/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1c6y3e2e2wr6z

Stop trying to put pieces together and create your own pieces. Don’t spend your life trying to find yourself, create it.

A Late Night Drive
The time is 3am. The rain is fierce. Heavy drops assault my windshield. The road is dark and all I can see is what my headlights reveal to me. These are the ingredients to create the perfect granny driver, minus the old age. I almost managed to nap. All too sudden, the van sputters and slows down, then dies. Unfortunate because I haven't seen a soul for miles. However, despite my car troubles, I'd managed to end up witnessing a beautiful scenery. My van had died in the middle of a bridge. Across the distant waters, you could see where the rain clouds end. The night sky 🌌 and full moon 🌕 paired with the dark clouded sky, cradled by the land on either side. I pried open a compartment near my seat which held my camera. My fingers found themselves getting into position, I raised it up to my eyes and snapped photos. With each sound of the camera shutter, satisfaction eased into my bones. It's moments like these that make unfortunate events worthwhile.
