you and sapnap had been dating for quite a while now, two months and five days to be precise. normally while sitting in his living room cuddled under a fluffy weighted blanket and having one of his arms draped around your shoulders no disturbing thoughts would cross your head, but something your friend had said earlier that day clouded your mind for quite a while now. you were on a face time call with them when you mentioned that you and sapnap hadn't kissed yet and your friend had gone into shock.

"you've been dating for two months and you haven't kissed?" they had exclaimed causing you to ponder whether that was a bad thing or not.

"two months and five days to be precise," you corrected them and they threw you that glance "and is that a bad thing?"

it wasn't that either of you didn't want to. it's just that the right moment never came.

"baby?" sapnap softly called your name, having your attention. "is there something wrong? you seem thoughtful today. you can tell me anything, that is, if you want to, of course." he shyly added, still a bit afraid of crossing your boundaries due to the newly blossoming relationship.

"it's just that, I was curious if we not kissing yet was a bad thing." you answered earnestly. sapnap was taken by surprise by that. he didn't want you to think that he was forcing you so he never initiated anything like that, remaining respectful to your personal space.

"I don't think so, no, y/n/n." suddenly he felt curiosity awaking in him. "do you want to?" you didn't know what to reply. yes, of course you wanted to. but... you had never kissed anyone before and you were afraid to embarrass yourself in front of the man.

you opted to shyly nod in response to his question and the corners of his mouth tugged up ever so slightly at your reaction. he cupped your face gently with his hands but upon seeing your anxious look he inquired you about it.

"it's- it's just that..." you trailed off, not sure how to continue. "I haven't had my first kiss yet, so you'll have to guide me through that. " you confessed, your voice just above a whisper. sapnap visibly relaxed, as he was expecting something worse. he softly chuckled, gently taking your hand into his.

"y/n, you are so cute. it's easy, let me show you." with that, he once again took your face into his large hands and looked into your eyes.

"so what do I do? close my eyes and lean in?" you asked eager to do everything right. he once again laughed and nodded.

"leave it all to me." and with that, he connected your lips.

"y/n. baby. look at me." dream said, not taking his eyes off the road continuing to carefully drive the vehicle down the suburbs.

he took your hand in his and started tracing patterns with his thumb on your soft skin, immediately soothing your nerves. dream knew that you could get easily anxious and always tried to be there for you when the anxiety attacks got the best of you.
