Meet the Hyuga family!

Yuri and Alice, the Matriarch and Patriarch.

The two of them married and settled down in Alice's home in Mt. Komorebi. They then had their firstborn, Kageiki, and soon after, adopted Emegen. Later, they had twins Suri and Ben. The two of them run their household together lovingly, though they're not opposed to a little tough love now and then. Alice is by far the more gentle and understanding of the pair, while Yuri clearly loves his family, but can be a little rough around the edges at times.

Ben Hyuga

One of the youngest children of Yuri and Alice, he's always been very carefree and easygoing. He tends to be a bit flighty and noncommittal, just going with the flow and handling whatever comes with a chill attitude. As a result of this carefree attitude, he hasn't exactly figured out what he wants to do with his life yet, while his sisters all seem to have it figured out for themselves. Mom and Dad aren't getting any younger, though, and while his twin Suri and her growing family are around to help their aging parents, he's also expected to pick up the slack when Suri and her fiancé are busy with their infant daughter.

Suri, Erenville, and Usagi Hyuga

Suri and Erenville met and fell in love pretty fast, all things considered. Despite their whirlwind romance, however, they are very committed to each other and to raising their young child, Usagi. Suri continues to live in the family home despite her own family starting to grow, because she can't always trust that her twin brother Ben will take care of their aging parents. Still, Suri desires to live her own life. Despite Yuri and Alice's insistence that they will be fine living on their own, she worries what would happen if she were to find her own place to live with her beloved and her child.

Emegen and Cevilia Hyuga

Emegen was adopted from an early age into the Hyuga family, but she was originally born in Tomarang. She doesn't know much about her birth family, but she loves her adopted parents and siblings as much as she would love any blood related family she may have once had. She's grateful to her parents for taking her in when she had nowhere else to go, but there was still a yearning in her heart to find out why she was put up for adoption to begin with. She met her wife, Cevilia, in high school and the two started dating after being best friends for a while, but Cevilia's parents were very much against their daughter being a lesbian and disowned her as soon as they found out she was dating another woman. Yuri and Alice would not stand for this injustice, and so they took Cevilia in and allowed her to stay with them until the day that she and Em decided to move to Tomarang to find out more about Em's birth family. Sadly, Em never found out much about her birth parents, but she did fall in love with her homeland and she and Cevilia decided to marry and settle down there, eventually deciding to have a science baby together. They raised their little girl, Odesa, with as much love and care as Emegen was shown by her adopted family, and Em and Cev made many trips to Mt. Komorebi during Odesa's childhood to visit the family that she was still very close with.

Kageiki, G'raha, Kahl, Ramona, and Orya Hyuga

Kageiki was the firstborn child of Yuri and Alice, and quickly befriended and became close with her adopted sister Emegen when she was adopted. She and Em are still incredibly close, best friends for life. She's helped to support Emegen's relationship with her now wife, and her desires to find out about her birth parents, and of course she loves her niece. Em has in turn supported her through finding the love of her life, losing him for a while, and then being reunited with him. The second time Kageiki met G'raha, she decided then she would never let him go, and he was in agreement. The two are attached at the hip practically, and have had a loving romance and marriage that resulted in two biological children: A son, Kahl, and a daughter, Ramona. They then adopted baby Orya, as Kageiki loved that her parents had adopted and wanted to adopt one of her children. Kahl and Odesa grew up very close despite the distance, and Kageiki and Emegen are still very close to this day, with Kageiki even offering to look after Odesa upon her arrival in Mt. Komorebi and even getting the upstairs apartment for her niece so that she can safely come back and live there.

Odesa Hyuga

And now we are here, at our leading lady. Odesa grew up in Tomarang with her mothers, being loved by them as much as they could muster. Despite the friendly atmosphere of Tomarang, the story of how her mother Cevilia's parents disowned her for her sexuality never sat right with her, and fueled her desire to one day become someone who could make some real change in the world. The fact that she was always so confident in herself and her own words made her a perfect fit to become a Politician, and Odesa knew from a young age that this was what she wanted to do with her life. She went between Mt. Komorebi and Tomarang for much of her life, and while she enjoyed her life in Tomarang, she really loved Mt. Komorebi and always enjoyed going to visit her Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles. Odesa knew she wanted to live in Mt. Komorebi at some point in her life, and her chance finally came when her Aunt Kageiki called to inform her that the apartment unit above hers became vacant. Knowing that her sister would take good care of Odesa, Emegen and Cevilia agreed to the move (though they always knew she would find a way to go at some point), and Odesa uprooted her life in Tomarang to move to her beloved Mt. Komorebi. Now that she's here, she's ready to take on the world.
