There are ads here on tumblr as well. Tiktok is putting warnings on videos of people who are only mentioning what is happening in palestine. Instagram is deleting accounts of people who are reporting straight from gaza.
Biden questioned the number of deaths reported in Gaza, after which the health ministry came out with a report over 200 hundred pages long with personal information on the killed individuals.
24 journalists have been killed in 21 days.
Yesterday internet and phone services in Gaza went down, due to the heavy bombardments.
The voice of the people in palestine is being silenced in every way you can imagine.
So the least you can do, is share what is going on. Use all your platforms. Even this one.

Fiction is so important because it gives you a guide for how things can go before they happen. We read about greed, and suffering, and injustice so we can think about them and try to understand them as we see it in real life. Fiction itself isn’t real, but the support and the inspiration it provides can be very real. Stories that are important to a lot of people have that impact for a reason.

One thing I love about Matthias Helvar is that at the end of the story he didn't have to give up his religion, but he did have to give up the things that he thought were true (i.e. that it's okay to hate Grisha). "Djel is the god of life, not death" is a line that's SO important to me. I've also unfortunately internalized negative ideas (oftentimes about myself) and I've also had to unlearn things. But my faith is still important to me, I just don't let it be defined by radicals anymore. Anyway, I love Leigh Bardugo's approach to religion and world building. :)

I like moths. Creatures of the dark forever attracted to the light, leaving the safety of darkness to chase it. Exposing themselves to something so foreign to what they are, taking off their armor for someone who has become their light, trying to get closer and closer and closer.

I decided to challenge myself with something a bit more complicated then what I normally draw, so I drew one of my favorite scenes from Flair for the Dramatics.
