Carnival Girl (1944)
"Around 7:30 A.M. on June 5, 1944, the corpse of a young woman was discovered in East Liverpool, Ohio. She was wearing only a torn pink slip and had been strangled to death."
"Torn clothing likely belonging to the deceased woman was discovered in a trash bag where a carnival had performed the night she was murdered. She strongly resembled one of the performers, but her identity could not be traced and she remains unidentified."
Today, the only known traces of the victim exist within a Spring Grove Cemetery plot, on police and funeral home records and in yellowing newspaper accounts.

Bayonne Jane Doe (October 2007)
The unidentified female was found in Bayonne, New Jersey which is just across the bay from Brooklyn and Staten Island in New York. Her body was found along Route 440 in between East 30th Street and New Hook Road. She had been deceased for several weeks, placing her date of death between August and October of 2007.
She was between the ages of 16 and 20 years old.
At the time of her death she had black hair with long 28 inch red braided hair extensions attached.
She had been treated by a dentist in life as a dental filling was observed in one of her upper back teeth.
She also had gaps in between some of her upper teeth that might have been noticeable to others.
To help advance the genealogy efforts anyone with ancestral ties to Haiti is encouraged to upload their DNA to GEDmatch or Family Tree DNA (FTDNA).

Barstow Jane Doe (2010)
On February 10, 2010 the head of an unidentified female was found in a backpack located along Lenwood Road, west of the I-15 Freeway in Barstow, California.
The female is estimated to be 14 to 19 years old. She had dark brown hair that was approximately shoulder length and both ears were pierced once.
Evidently, her face was in "very poor condition" as a result of being intentionally mutilated by the person who dismembered her body. The nature of these injuries is not known, but apparently, they were so extensive that members of law enforcement have said that the facial reconstructions may be unreliable due to the fact that her face was "destroyed". Authorities believe that she may have fallen victim to a serial killer.
DNA testing has confirmed she has Hispanic ancestry and she has distant relatives in Mexico. Authorities encourage anyone, specifically from the southwest region of the United States to test at FTDNA. If anyone has already tested at another ancestry company they too can help by uploading their raw DNA results into FTDNA and GEDmatch for no additional fees.
