First of all, this blog is a godsend so thank you for putting in the work to find the fics we cannot.

I'm looking for a fic I read on AO3. It's a human AU. Castiel left his abusive wife Meg and took their teenage daughter Claire with him. He ends up moving into Dean and Sam's old house in Lawrence and finding Dean's old teenage journals and some other items in the attic. He asks around and finds out Dean owns a bookstore in town so he goes to take him his old stuff and confesses he read the journals because he never thought they would meet. To even things out, Cas tells Dean about his abusive ex wife and they become friends. They start taking community classes together for stuff like pottery or dance, and eventually end up dating.

From what I remember, the summary is a snippet from the fic where Claire asks Cas if he wants to smash the plates Meg made him buy years ago.

I was wondering if you can help me find a series. It starts with the reader almost dying from being stabbed and she confessed that she loves Dean. Cas was able to make it in time to heal her and after she was better Dean told her he didn’t feel that way about her. That she was like a sister to him. She decides she needs space from Dean and goes in a trip with her friend/pole dance instructor to her beach house. Before she left she shared a kiss with Sam that Dean walked in on. Dean showed up to the beach house to get her help on a case and they pretend to be dating to keep her friend in the dark about the case. I think there was 9 parts to the series maybe more.
