Stay alive, for me
And it all came in waves to Asahi. Her screams, their car suddenly losing the control, gears sliding across the other side of the lane, lights flashing from the incoming truck, loud glass bursting, rapid shifting, and a cloud of smoke setting him unconscious.
And it all becomes a blur. Asahi's eyes began to water at the disturbing flashback.
He woke up in a hospital, remembering he was told he was in a coma for two weeks after the car crash. He remembered standing up, tearing the hospital gadgets from his body, his bare feet touching the cold tiles, as the nurse pushed him back to lay down, straightening his pillow.
He remembered choking and fighting to mutter a word or two, his insides speeding up as his thoughts landed on his sister.
"Where's she?!" Asahi panicked, his heart was thundering in his chests like a storm.
"Sir... She passed away.. Two days ago. We did everything we could.. I am sorry for your loss."
"WHAT!? HOW?! NO! NO! THAT'S NOT TRUE! NO WAY!" Asahi cried out, gripping his hair into his fists. The main doctor joined them in a hospital room, tapping nurse's shoulder, motioning her that's she is free to go.
"She lost a lot of blood. And even if she did survive.. She wouldn't live as a normal human anymore... I assure you we did everything not to lose her.. I am so sorry, Asahi-san. Get well soon."
Asahi's mind was eating him alive. It was the memory he'd gladly never recall again, but it was a massive part of him. And then, he became too conscious about the tragic event again, blaming himself for her death.
If only he didn't distract her with the injury on his leg he had received during the volleyball practice past week, she'd still be here. And he broke. His guts clutching, tears burning his eyes once more, causing him a tough headache.
Three years later, on the day she died, Asahi stood by her grave, and cried.  He cried until there were no tears left, and as he fell to his knees onto the dirty ground, he wished he was dead too.
He wished to hug his twin again, to laugh with her, to cry with her, to do everything with her like they always did.
Yuu stood by Asahi’s side, his arms and wings wrapped tightly around him like a cocoon, and wished Asahi could see and feel him. Wished Asahi would know he wasn’t alone, wished he would know his sister is safely in Heaven, smiling down at him.
But, his wishes weren’t answered. Instead, he followed Asahi home like he always does, made sure he was safely in bed before leaving back to Heaven.
With a sigh, Yuu sat down at his desk and started going through the reports and other piles of papers he had to take care of.
He wanted nothing more than to leave and go to Asahi, be with him and even though he can’t see him, Yuu knows he’s helping Asahi by just being by his side. He is his Guardian, after all.
After what felt like an eternity, Yuu had all the reports checked, sorted and ready to be given to Daichi. He got up, but before he could make it to his superior, Yuu felt unbelievable pain in his chest.
He knew what it was without having to think twice, and he was gone in a flash with a flutter of wings.
What he saw when he appeared where Asahi was, broke his heart and struck a bolt of panic through him.
Asahi stood on the edge of the tallest building in the city, tears streaming down his face, one step away from falling down and ending his life.
Yuu shifted into his human form, just enough for Asahi to be able to see him, and stepped closer.
‘’Asahi,’’ he said in a whisper, not wanting to startle him. Asahi slowly turned around and the sigh broke Yuu’s heart even more.
Yuu’s been alive for many centuries, he’s seen the deaths of his brothers, sisters and the humans he guarded. He knows pain and heartbreak more than any human ever will, but he has never seen the look Asahi had.
Agonizing grief, guilt, pain, sorrow, and the worst of all; a look of a man who has given up. Asahi was ready to jump and leave this world, ready to join his sister.
But, Yuu wasn’t. He was not ready to let Asahi waste his life. So, he got even closer, trying not to cry.
‘’Please, don’t jump,’’ his voice was shaking and Asahi looked at him with utter confusion, and amazement when he saw his wings.
‘’Who are you? Why do you have wings? Why do you care if I jump?’’ Asahi asked, his voice sore and rough from all the crying.
‘’I care because I’m your Guardian and I can not let you kill yourself,’’ Yuu was trying not to yell, ‘’I care because you have a life full of wonderful things ahead of you, and I care because Yuki would want you to live a happy life.’’
At the mention of his twin, Asahi’s eyes welled up with tears again.
‘’I can’t! I can’t live without her! We did everything together, how can I keep living alone, without her?’’
‘’You are not alone. Yuki is still with you, she’s watching you and she’s proud of you. You lived by yourself for three years, and you can keep going. She wants you to. I want you to,’’ Yuu’s voice got softer, and it seemed to get through to Asahi. He looked at the sky once more, and could swear he saw Yuki smiling and nodding.
With a deep breath, he stepped back and Yuu flew to him, catching him when he collapsed to his knees.
‘’You’re alright, I’ve got you,’’ Yuu kept whispering until Asahi calmed down enough to stand on his own.
‘’I need answers,’’ Asahi demanded through broken voice, eyes red and puffy, but to Yuu, he still looked beautiful.
‘’And you will get them.’’
After that, Yuu transported them back to Asahi’s apartment, a place he knew very well, and explained everything to Asahi.
Every question the gentle giant had was answered, all but one he didn’t dare to ask. Now that he’s seen Yuu’s wings, he should tell him about the exact same replica of them spreading over his back to his sides and arms, but he didn’t dare to.
He was afraid of the answer.
That is, until he accidentally spilled a hot  drink over himself and was forced to quickly remove his shirt, which gave Yuu a perfect view of his abs and the little blonde tips og the tattoo too.
‘’Hey, Asahi, is that a tattoo?’’ Yuu asked with an exited smile. Why he was excited, Asahi didn’t know, but he did know his heart was ready to give out.
‘’K-kinda, y-yeah.’’ Ah, I was doing so well, Asahi thought with a defeated sigh. No turning back now, right?
When he turned around to show the full thing to Yuu, Yuu froze.
On Asahi’s back were his wings in a form of a tattoo, and he has never been so shocked and amazed and happy. After the events of Tadashi and Yamaguchi, along with Shoyou and Tobio, he knew they were soulmates and he couldn’t be happier.
‘’Asahi, do you know anything about soulmates?’’ Asahi shook his head and Yuu started explaining what Daichi told him.
When Asahi suddenly kissed him, to say Yuu was shocked would be an understatement. All sorts of emotions ran through his veins like fire, and he was willing to get burned if kissing Asahi would always feel like that.
In the corner of the room, hidden in the shadow, Lady Fate stood with a smug smile on her lips. If they’re not gonna do it themselves, a little push will do the job. And as she crossed their names off the list, she left with a smile and a single gold thread laying on the floor.

Ink under my skin
In a world where from the moment you were born a part of a tattoo is imprinted on your skin and when you meet your soulmate it’s complete, Hinata Shoyou does not want to meet his soulmate.
The reason is simple; his parents. They fight and scream at each other all the time, because they forced themselves to find their soulmates, just because of the tattoos on their wrists.
But they refused to get divorce, wanting to be that minority of people who had soulmates.
And that’s why, ever since he could remember, Hinata’s been hiding his tattoo and no one know what it is.
But, that’s fine. Because Hinata doesn’t need a soulmate, he has volleyball and that is almost the same.
The orange haired boy runs towards the Karasuno gym, almost tripping on his way because of pure excitement. He opens the door and stops at the entrance, awed at the size of the gym.
There is one person beside him in the gym, practicing jump serves and Hinata is amazed. He watches the boy throw the ball in the air, run and slam it to the other side of the court with a powerful satisfying smack.
The boy has jet black hair and dark blue eyes and he looks like something crawled up his butt and died. Hinata snorts at the tough and the boy notices him.
‘’Oi, who are you?’’ The boy asks with a permanent scowl on his face.
‘’Hinata Shoyou, class 1. Who are you?’’ He asks with a bright smile, contrast to the boy’s scowl.
‘’Kageyama Tobio, class 3,’’ Hinata barely heard him, not because he was talking quietly, but because the Ace of Karasuno entered the gym with a shorter boy by his side.
‘’Oh, you must be our new first years. I’m Sawamura Daichi, the captain,’’ Says the boy with dark hair and dark brown eyes, slightly smiling.
Hinata is still stuck starring at the Ace, and barely notices the words spoken to him.
‘’Oi, dumbass, pay attention when a Senpai is speaking to you,’’ Kageyama lightly slaps him on the head and faces the captain.
‘’What? Oh, sorry,’’ he bows but gets up quickly. ‘’I was just..’’
‘’It’s fine, why don’t you introduce yourselves so we can start practice?’’ A boy with silver hair says when he sees Hinata getting flustered.
‘’Oh, yeah, right. I’m Hinata Shoyo, class 1,’’ he nudges Kageyema with his elbow when the boy doesn’t say anything.
‘’Kageyama Tobio, class 3,’’ he gruffly answers looking anywhere but at the captain and silver haired male.
‘’I’m Sugawara Koushi, but you can call me Suga,’’ He smiles and Hinata swears he saw the captain blush for a second.
‘’I’m Nishinoya Yuu, the Guardian Deity of Karasuno and this our Ace, Azumane Asahi,’’ The short boy with a blonde streak of hair on his forehead says, pointing at the giant beside him who seems shy and skittish. He also sees them holding hands and knows they’re soulmates.
‘’Alright, let’s start,’’ By that time a lot of other guys entered the gym and Hinata barely remembered their names because he was in the Karasuno gym, practicing with the Karasuno’s Ace and he couldn’t think straight.
They did a couple of laps around the gym and everyone was amazed at Hinata’s stamina and speed.
Hinata also found out Kageyama is an amazing setter, seeing him set the balls but hardly any being spiked. So, being the volleyball idiot he is, he wanted to hit one of his spikes.
‘’Kageyama, toss to me!’’ He yelled, already standing in a running position. Kageyama looked weirdly at him, but set the ball none the less.
With unbelievable speed Hinata ran and jumped, hitting the ball perfectly and slamming it to the other side of the court.
Everyone stood in shock for a brief minute, and then the ruckus began.
Nishinoya was yelling with a giant smile, Daichi was asking him how he did that, the others clapped and yelled, but Kageyama’s reaction was something different. He just there, staring at the ball and Hinata, not believing.
‘’Are you okay?’’ Hinata asked, not knowing why himself.
‘’No one has ever spiked my toss so perfectly, how did you do it?’’ He asked quietly.
‘’I just jumped and closed my eyes, believing you would set it perfectly,’’ Hinata shrugged like it was nothing.
‘’YOU HAD YOUR EYES CLOSED?!’’ Kageyama yelled, startling Hinata. ‘’How could you have that much trust in me?’’
‘’I don’t know,’’ Now Hinata was biting his lip and Kageyama wanted to kiss him right there and then.
Realizing what he thought, he blushed and turned around.
‘’Dumbass Hinata, you shouldn’t have that much trust in people you meet for the first time,’’ He mumbled picking up the ball and rolling it in his hands. He caught a glimpse of his soulmate tattoo and dropped the ball. On his right wrist was a beautiful black crow, now complete.
Sneaking a glance at Hinata, he saw a cloth looking thing around his wrist and his mood dropped immensely. Hinata didn’t know and didn’t even want to know who his soulmate was. But Kageyama did and that broke his heart.
Kageyama, being as inexperienced as he was, didn’t know how to make Hinata fall in love with him, regardless of the tattoo, although he had a feeling they were the same.
So, one day after practice, he went to Suga and Daichi.
‘’Let me guess, you want us to give you tips on how to make Hinata fall in love with you,’’ Daichi said before Kageyama even opened his mouth.
‘’How did you know?’’ Kageyama was confused. He tried pretty hard to keep his expressions stoic and emotionless in practice, and it mostly worked.
‘’We see the way you look at him,’’ Suga answered with a warm smile. It has been months since met and Kageyama respected that Hinata didn’t want to show his tattoo and never asked about it.
‘’Am I that obvious?’’ Kageyama sighed, letting his stone expression fall into one of worry.
‘’Don’t worry, he’s too oblivious to notice, but I can’t say that for the rest of us,’’ Daichi said putting his hand around Kageyama’s shoulders.
‘’What should I do? I’ve never been in love, I don’t know what to do,’’ Kageyama’s only love was volleyball and he never thought he will meet his soulmate let alone love something else aside from volleyball.
‘’Just, be kind to him and help him any way you can. Find out his favorite things and pamper him with them as much as you can. Shouldn’t be hard, Hinata’s a simple guy,’’ Suga smiled again and Kageyama calmed down a bit.
In the months they spent together, he learned a lot about the bright haired boy and knew most things he loved. And Kageyma was dead set on spoiling him as much as he could.
Hinata Shoyo would never admit it to anyone, but he was falling in love with his setter. And that scared the living crap out of him.
In the months that they spent together Hinata learned to love little things about Kageyama; the way he would roll a volleyball in his hands before serving it; his loud ‘’dumbass Hinata’’ when Hinata would mess something up, even the way they bickered back and forth.
But, his favorite thing was walking home with him. Feeling Kaheyama’s warmth through his thin shirt while they walked close to each other, talking about their days. They became best friends, and Hinata would love to be more, but the stupid soulmate system fucked that up.
What if Kageyama’s soulmate isn’t him but some pretty girl from his class that already confessed to him? They didn’t talk about soulmates, but Hinata saw the complete tattoo on Kageyama’s wrist.
‘’Ha! I win!’’ Hinata yelled with a big smile on his face as he stopped in front of the gym, Kageyama only few seconds after him.
‘’Because you cheated! You can’t trip someone in a race!’’ Kageyama yelled back, but with no poison behind his words. Seeing the bright sunshine smile on Hinata’s face was worth the pain of falling over and losing.
‘’Doesn’t matter! I still won!’’ The smile never left his face and Kageyama had to restrain himself from kissing him.
‘’Whatever, let’s go,’’ He grumbled and walked past Hinata, into the gym where all the others were waiting.
‘’There you are! Hurry up, we’re playing a three on three match!’’ Daichi said as he saw them entering the gym.
After they have changed, Daich set the teams and the game started.
It was Kageyma, Hinata and Tanaka against Daichi, Suga and Asahi while the rest of the team watched and took mental notes of the game.
Hinata’s and Kageyama’s freak quicks earned them a lot of o points, but they also missed a lot of them thanks to Hinata’s missed receives.
In the end, Daichi’s team won, but it was fine, because now they knew on what to work first.
‘’The away games in Tokyo start this weekend, so be sure to pass all your exams or you can’t go,’’ Hinata’s face went from happy to freaked out in matter of seconds, because he knew he was going to fail his test in English.
‘’What is wrong with you?’’ Kageyama asked Hinata as they walked home together after practice that day. Hinata was unusually silent, and he just kept on looking at the concrete, almost falling over dozen of times but Kageyama caught him.
‘’I’m going to fail my English test that is in two days and I’m not gonna go to Tokyo,’’ He mumbled quietly, Kageyama barely heard him.
‘’I could tutor you, if you want,’’ Kageyama was pretty good in English, believe it or not, and he would gladly help Hinata, mostly because he needed him to hit his tosses.
‘’Would you really?’’ Hinata looked up at him with hope filled eyes, and Kageyma fell even more in love with him.
‘’Of course, but we will have to start now,’’
‘’Yes, please, I really wanna go to Tokyo,’’ They agreed they’d go to Hinata’s house since it’s closer and after Hinata’s mom forced them to eat they went into his room.
‘’So, what don’t you get?’’ Kageyama asked, putting his bag on the floor by Hinata’s bed.
‘’Grammar. I don’t see the difference between tenses and when should I use them,’’ Hinata sighed, sitting down on the spinning chair by his desk.
‘’Oh that’s easy,’’ Kageyama said, bringing a chair from the corner of the room to sit beside Hinata. ‘’You’ll learn it no time, you’ll see.’’
Turns out, he was right. Hinata mastered the tenses in three hours they’ve been studying and he couldn’t be happier.
‘’Thank you so much, Kageyama, I owe you one,’’ Hinata said as he leaned back in his chair.
‘’Can I ask you a question?’’ Kageyama didn’t know why he said that, but it seemed like his brain to mouth filter stopped working.
‘’Sure, go ahead,’’ Hinata smiled.
‘’Why do you cover your soulmate tattoo?’’ Kageyama regretted the words as soon as they left his mouth. Hinata’s smile vanished and a spark of anger flashed in his eyes, but it was gone as soon as it came but Hinata still looked pissed.
‘’I’m sorry, I can’t answer that,’’ Kageyama has never heard Hinata speak with such a tone and it scared him and he knew he should drop it and shut up but he didn’t.
‘’But why? What are you so afraid of?’’ He almost yelled, but he tried to keep his voice down because he wasn’t in his house and Hinata’s sister was asleep down the hall.
‘’ I’m not afraid!’’
‘’Liar!’’ Hinata stood shocked for a second, but then anger was back but before he could say anything, Kageyama continued. ‘’I know you’re afraid because I see it in your eyes every time you look at your wrist I just don’t know what are you so afraid of? Is the rejection? Is it the fear of being judged? Is your soulmate tattoo weird or something?’’
‘’Why do you care? You already have a soulmate, why care about me?’’ The anger was replaced with tears that Hinata tried his best to keep and not spill.
‘’I don’t have a soulmate,’’ Kageyama said softly. ‘’My tattoo is complete because I’ve met them, but they are too afraid to check their soulmate tattoo to know the truth,’’ He continued when Hinata looked confused. Now, he was surprised and shocked. Someone who is afraid to check his soulmate tattoo? It couldn’t be him, could it?
Hinata looked at his right arm where white bandana was wrapped, hiding his tattoo.
Kageyama gently took his small hand in his larger one and, after confirmation nod from Hinata, slowly took off the bandana.
Underneath it was a beautiful black crow that was identical to one on Kageyama’s wrist.
The tears in Hinata’s eyes spilled over and he started crying. Kageyama hugged him tightly and they both felt burning sparks where their skin touched.
‘’Please, please don’t leave me,’’ Kageyama heard Hinata mumble through his sobs and hugged him tighter.
‘’I won’t, I promise,’’ Hinata slowly calmed down and raised his head, only enough to look Kageyama in the eyes and to stay in his arms.
‘’Can I kiss you?’’ Kageyama got his answer in a form of Hinata’s lips pressing to his. The kiss was slow and clumsy but it was perfect.
‘’I was afraid because I liked you since the first time we walked home together and I didn’t want to be someone’s soulmate if that someone wasn’t you,’’ Hinata said after a while. ‘’And because of my parents. They hate being soulmates and I didn’t want that’’
‘’Dumbass,’’ Kageyama siged and kissed his forehead. ‘’I’ve liked you ever since you hit my toss for the first time, and that was when my tattoo was complete. I knew there was a reason you kept your tattoo hidden, and I tried to make you fall in love with me despite a part of me thinking you might not be my soulmate.’’
‘’But, I am,’’ Hinata smiled and Kageyama did kiss him this time. And he would kiss him any chance he got.
After that, they went to bed, because it was late and Hinata’s mom wouldn’t let Kageyama walk home alone. So, Hinata found Kageyama some of his dad’s old sweat pants and one of his shirts that was too big on him but perfect for Kageyama and they snuggled up in bed, as close as they could. With one last kiss, the two fell asleep in no time, tangled up in each other

Seraph’s Design
Yamaguchi Tadashi had a thing for danger, or was just incredibly clumsy. Either way, he kept his Guardian Angel busy all day.
Kei has witnessed and saved Tadashi from so many injuries and almost deaths that he stopped counting once they passed the fifteen mark.
He saved him from slipping on his socks and hitting his head against the dresser, saved him from getting hit by a car, or falling down the stairs. Kei could go on, but it would be a long list.
Kei had to be by his side every waking moment, keeping a close eye on Tadashi wherever he went, and his superiors weren’t happy with that. He had other duties besides guarding his freckled, clumsy human.
‘’You don’t understand, he could literally trip over his own feet and die if I’m not with him,’’ Kei tried to explain do Daichi and Koushi, the two superiors who were in charge of the  Karasuno bevy, after they have called him to talk about Tadashi. Despite Kei being saltier than the Dead Sea, Tadashi was his soft spot, and just because he was his human to guard.
‘’We know, we been watching you, but you still have responsibilities in Heaven. You can’t be on Earth all the time,’’ Koushi said gently, not trying to make Kei upset but he was a leader and he too had his job.
‘’Well, what am I supposed to do? I can’t just abandon him and let him die, for God’s sake,’’ Kei couldn’t bare even the thought of that. He knew falling in love with his human in charge was against the rules, every Angel knew that, but the heart wants what it wants and Kei is trying his damn best not to let the others know.
‘’Of course not, we could never ask that of you,’’ Once a Guardian gets his human, it’s permanent and no one can replace the Angel. ‘’But we’re gonna need you to start spending more time in Heaven. Especially now that the Shiratorizawa clan is making problems,’’ Daichi added, sighing. Shiratorizawa bevy were their neighbors, but they didn’t like each other much. Why? That was a question only few knew the answer to, but Kei was not that lucky.
Sighing, Kei nodded his head.
‘’Alrigth, but on the first feeling of danger I get, I’m out of here.’’ Daichi and Koushi nodded their heads, understanding. Daichi knew how it felt to have your human die, and he did not want that for anyone.
And so, for the next couple of days, Kei stayed in his respective part of Heaven, solving meaningless paper work and going to Tadashi when he was in a really near death situation.
It was one of the normal days when Tadashi stayed inside his house, in his bed to be precise, so there wasn’t any danger he could be with and Kei could concentrate on the pile of papers Daichi gave him.
But then it happened. He was hit with the uneasiest feeling he ever felt and knew it was Tadashi.
Kei stood abruptly, making the few angels around him jump in surprise. He ran to the doorway that led to Earth and almost screamed when Daichi appeared in front of him.
‘’Daichi, move, I have to go,’’ There was a question on Daichi’s lips, but he just moved out of the way after seeing the fear in Kei’s eyes.
He was a second too late.
Tadashi was crossing the road and just when Kei was about to reach and pull him back, there was a crash and Tadashi was lying on the ground, blood all around him and Kei saw red.
He doesn’t remember exactly what happened, but he remembers carrying Tadashi to the hospital, which was close thank God, in his human form and waiting in the hospital’s uncomfortable plastic chairs.
‘’Are you related to Yamaguchi Tadashi?’’ The doctor asked as he came out of the operating room.
‘’I’m his boyfriend,’’ He replied, too worried for Tadashi to worry about what the doctor will think of him. ‘’ I already called his parents, but they are out of town so I’m the only one with him,’’ He added, just to make it easier on the doctor.
‘’Alright. Uhm, Tadashi has a light concussion, nothing to be worried about, couple of broken ribs and dislocated shoulder. He just needs a lot of rest and pain killers and he’ll be fine,’’ The doctor explained and Kei sighed in relief. He’s gonna be okay.
‘’Thank you. Any chances I can see him?’’ He knew it was a weak shot, because he wasn’t family, but he still tried.
‘’Well, since his parents aren’t here, I’ll allow it. He’d be much more comfortable to see a familiar face.’’ Yeah, familiar. Kei was far from that, but still nodded at the doctor and went inside the room the doctor pointed at.
Tadashi had a bandage around his head, his ribs and his right arm was across his chest, in a sling to hold it there. He looked pale, but his freckles were more visible than ever.
Slowly sitting in a chair next to the bed, Kei took Tadashi’s hand that had an IV in it and slowly stroked the pale skin.
‘’I’m sorry I wasn’t there to save you,’’ He whispered, trying not break down. Kei never wanted to feel that feeling of uneasiness, of fear ever again. He was so glad Tadashi was alright.
Kei stared at Tadashi’s mesmerizing pale face, dotted with freckles that looked like stars on his skin. Kei knew Tadashi hated them, but he loved them. Kei loved every part of Tadashi, and it was killing him, not being able to kiss every freckle and mole on Tadashi’s body.
Couple of hours later, Tadashi woke up. Kei still sat next to him, holding his hand and waiting for the boy to gain consciousness.
Tadashi looked around the room, confused, and then his eyes settled on Kei.
‘’Am I in Heaven?’’ His voice was rough and Kei could guess his throat was sore. Lightly smiling, Kei shook his head.
‘’You’re in a hospital,’’ Kei answered and Tadashi furrowed his eyebrows, looking somewhere behind Kei.
‘’Then why do I see an angel?’’ Confused, Kei turned slightly around, seeing his big black wings stretch behind him. Tadashi couldn’t see them, it was impossible. Or was it? ‘’You either have big black wings or I am on too much morphine,’’ Tadashi mumbled and Kei’s eyes widened. This was bad.
‘’You can see them?’’ His voice came out shaky, not by his choice.
‘’Ah, so I’m not too drugged. Yes, I see them. Are you the Guardian Angel that kept me safe all these years?’’ Kei didn’t know how to answer, so he just nodded, unsure. ‘’I’m sorry, I must have been a big trouble for you.’’ Tadashi added, sighing.
‘’You weren’t,’’ Kei replied immediately, knowing full well about Tadashi’s insecurities. ‘’I’m sorry I wasn’t there to save you this time, Heaven’s a bit busy,’’ It wasn’t a complete lie, he just didn’t want Tadashi to feel even worse.
‘’It’s okay, you’re here now. What’s your name?’’ Tadashi asked. There was a small smile gracing his features, and Kei’s heart skipped a beat.
‘’Kei. Tsukishima Kei.’’
‘’Will you stay with me, Kei?’’ Tadashi’s eyes were slowly dropping, the medicine kicking in.
‘’Of course,’’ He knew he should go back to Heaven, but when Tadashi’s hand squeezed his, he thought ‘’fuck you’’ and stayed until Tadashi woke up again.
Tadashi was released from the hospital the next day, with strict orders to rest for a while until his ribs healed. Kei stayed with him the whole time, fully aware of the trouble he was going to be in.
They walked together to Tadashi’s house, hands still held together.
‘’So, how long have you been my Guardian?’’ Tadashi asked as he slowly sat down on the couch, wincing in pain. Kei sat next to him.
‘’Ever since you were born. I can heal you, you know?’’ Kei said as he watched how Tadashi kept wincing.
‘’You can?’’ Tadashi was clueless when it came to Angel powers, that much was obvious. Kei still didn’t know how Tadashi could see his wings, so that knowledge surprised him.
‘’Yes,’’ He chuckled. ‘’If you want me to, of course.’’
‘’Please, I feel like shit,’’ Tadashi laughed and Kei found the sound so entrancing. Despite hearing him laugh countless times before, the sound never ceased to make Kei’s heart beat faster.
Kei lifted his hand and laid it on Tadashi’s cheek, more for a selfish wish to feel his silky skin, and let his Grace heal Tadashi.
‘’Thank you,’’ Tadashi sighed contently, leaning into Kei’s hand. Kei just smiled and they stayed like that for a while, just enjoying each other. That is, until Daichi and Kosuhi showed up.
‘’What the Hell, Tsukishima?!’’ They parted in shock and Kei turned around to see his superiors with disappointed looks on their faces.
‘’I can explain and before you go yell at me, hear me out, okay?’’ Kei knew they would be mad, they’ve seen the way Kei looked at Tadashi and that was with eyes full of love and Kei couldn’t lie.
‘’Tadashi can see my wings,’’ Looks of disappointment turned to ones of shock, and the two elders looked at each other. ‘’What?’’
‘’Are you sure? You’re not saying that to get out of this, are you?’’ Kei was deeply offended by the lack of trust.
‘’Of course I’m not! I know the consequences, but I want to know why Tadashi can see my wings,’’ He sat back down next to Tadashi, waiting for one of them to explain.
‘’Uhm, Tadashi, do you know anything about us?’’ Daichi said, looking at Tadashi.
‘’I just know you Guard humans, nothing much,’’ Tadashi shrugged. He wasn’t worried or scared, his mother always spoke about Guardian angels and Tadashi trusted them. He was alive because of one.
‘’Right. Kei, do you know Angels have a soulmate?’’ Koushi asked, mostly because he had gentler approach than Daichi.
‘’Ive heard stories, yes. Why does that matter?’’
‘’It’s very rare, but there have been times when a human was chosen to be an Angel’s soulmate. From the day they were born, they would be able to feel the presence of their Guardian, but not see them. Only when Fate decides, the two meet. And, the human bears a mark, like a birthmark, which matches the wings of their soulmate.’’ Koushi finished his story with a loving smile aimed at Daichi, who blushed and turned away, hiding his smile. Kei was confused for a second but let it go. Instead, he turned to Tadashi.
‘’Do you? Have a mark, I mean.’’
‘’Uhm,’’ Tadashi rolled up his shirt to reveal couple of gold and black feathers on his hip. They matched Kei’s wings. Kei was relieved, knowing they will be okay.
‘’And because of that, the Law doesn’t apply to you. You’re lucky,’’ Daichi said, relaxing his tense posture. ‘’We have to go. Kei, we expect to see you some time soon,’’ He added and, along with Koushi, disappeared.
‘’So, what does this mean?’’ Tadashi asked, confused and afraid. Just as Koushi said, Tadashi could always feel Kei around him, he even dreamed of him, and  he would be lying if he said he didn’t feel anything for the blonde angel.
‘’Well, I could stay with you and be your soulmate, just as I am supposed to, or you can choose not to see me ever again.’’ Neither liked the second option, so with a new found courage, Tadashi leaned forward and pressed his lips against Kei’s. Without hesitation, Kei kissed back. There weren’t fireworks exploding nor it was magical as they thought it would be, but it was warm, and Tadashi’s lips were soft on his and Kei couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Every freckle is an angels kiss; pressed into soft skin with precision and unconditional affection.
No wonder Tadashi was covered in them.

does anyone else just think about the fact that kuroo and kenma are going to be separated once kuroo graduates? i mean, yeah, they were separated when kuroo went into his first year of high school and kenma was still in junior high, but kuroo still lived with his parents which was close to kenma’s own house. if kuroo gets a dorm, which he probably will, he and kenma won’t see each other everyday like they’re used to. maybe once a week if kuroo’s classes allow it. this isn’t even about kuroken, but kuroo and kenma in general, who are extremely used to each other’s presence, dealing with being apart. does anyone else just think about this and get extremely upset?

hi i saw your post about smolfics :) how about a daisuga where they win a big game and get so excited that they kiss before realizing everyone is watching them ? thank you!!
Fifth set. 27-26.
Suga sends the ball upwards, hard-won strength in his fingers, and the rest of them charge forwards.
Then Daichi feels the ball against his skin—Suga’s ball, Suga’s toss, Suga’s trust—and it fires like a rocket from Daichi’s hand—
—it barely kisses the white line, but it’s in.
28-26.
When Daichi’s feet land one more on the floor, he still feels like he’s flying. A few metres away, Suga’s staring at him. Those gorgeous eyes are wide in shock, and then there’s the slow spread of his beautiful smile, and he is so radiantly perfect. Daichi’s vaguely aware of other things—Ukai’s screaming, Yachi’s cheers—but right now, it’s just—
It’s just Suga.
It’s just the two of them, and deafening silence ringing in their ears because this was theirs. This victory is theirs, and they’ve done what no one ever thought was possible and the pure joy rises like a tidal wave in Daichi’s heart—
It’s just Suga.
Suga’s lips on his, Suga’s hands in his hair, Suga’s warmth everywhere around him. Just Suga, in all his strength, his warmth pressed up against Daichi, his damp jersey beneath Daichi’s hands that clutch at his back as Daichi returns the kiss, feeling powerful, unbeatable. It’s liquid flame racing up Daichi’s veins, the way Suga pushes forward for more, how he can feel both their tears trace overwhelming joy over their skin, and god, it’s not enough. He doesn’t know how to tell Suga everything, how to convey everything that’s swirling through him in this single, perfect moment.
I love you. I need you, you are strong and so beautiful and I will show you every day. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Exaggerated coughing, groans, and kissing noises force Daichi to pull away, and turn around.
His team surrounds them. Ukai looks like he wants to say something, but can’t quite figure out what. Tsukishima has Hinata attached to his back, but even hunched over and looking extraordinarily put upon, he manages to look exasperated.
“Way to make the rest of us feel left out, guys,” Noya says, but he’s grinning, and he’s crying. He has two arms looped around Asahi’s waist, and Tanaka draped over the two of them as he grabs fistfuls of their shirts.
Daichi swallows. “I—we—”
As always, it’s Suga who knows what to say. It’s Suga who gets Daichi through.
Keeping one hand firmly in Daichi’s, he extends the other towards their uncharacteristically quiet team. “Come here,” he says gently.
And then they’re charging forward, and Daichi yelps when eleven other brawny boys bowl them over.
Laughing, crying, loving, they collapse under the weight of their team. Their team that they have built up brick by crumbling brick, that has been soaked with their sweat and their tears and their insecurities. The fear they once felt is now gone—whatever happens now, they’ve come further than they had ever thought possible, and every one of their wildest dreams seems like reality.
Suga’s laughing next to him, tears dripping down along the gorgeous curve of his cheeks into his hairline, and he is so, so beautiful. So strong, so vulnerable, so absolutely Suga. Like the rest of them, all he can do is laugh, and cry. Speechless, Daichi slings an arm around Suga’s neck, feels Suga’s own wrap around his waist.
And when he nuzzles into Suga’s cheek, so alive it’s electrifying, he feels invincible.

“airbenders are able to warm themselves with only their breathing”
ok so this explains why katara and sokka were bundled up in parkas galore while aang was just walking around in his little jump suit like it was a perfect summer evening. I’m so glad this was cleared up. I literally thought Aang’s optimistic attitude is what kept him warm, heavens.

Is there any kind of masterpost about the different species in the wingedau?
nope! But now there is :D
Here we gooooo:
First off, the winged au is set on a VERY small earth-like planet. Think of Avatar’s Pandora but less breathtaking lol.
The species are immortal and cannot reproduce, So it’s just them living on this tiny planet.
Every species has a soulmate that they are soul-bond to until the end. Links symbolize that bond, which can vary among species.
ALL species are humanoid.
Crows (Karasuno)
Crows have large, strong black wings that emit an aura which is color specific to every crow (ex. hinata: orange, Kageyama: blue, etc.). Their clothes consist of normal shirts and shorts or robes that are either black or white. The clothes are able to “melt” through the wings when they’re removed. They never rip.
Link: The wings of a crow can either burn (when fighting) or heal (when snuggled up) those of their destined soulmate. When their soulmate dies, the wings of the living soulmate turn white.
Cats (Nekoma)
Cats are quick and flexibe shapeshifters that are able to freely transform into their cat form. As humans, They have cat ears, tails, claws and fangs. Unlike other species, cats are the only ones without a specific dresscode. Because they live closer to the snakes than other species, They other get into turf wars with them.
Link: Cats wear special collars that emit a red, laser-like beam which connects to the collar of their soulmate when they’re next to each other, but becomes invisible when they’re far away. Touching the beam however, will cause it to appear for a brief moment as well. Cats often use this strategy to find their lost soulmates.
Owls (Fukurodani)
Owls have wings like the crows, but theirs have different patterns and colors. They also have feathers growing off parts of their skin. They don’t wear shirts either. Just shorts. Owls are the wisest species and are able to analyse any species and find out whose soulmate is with who just by a glimpse.
Link: Nobody really knows what kind of link owls create. Maybe they’re good at hiding it? ;)
Aliens (Aoba Josai)
Aliens *cough*humans*cough* are from another planet *cough*earth*cough* stranded on this one and lived on as a species, adapting to it’s laws. Aliens have armor-like suits and wield weapons that only they can operate.
Link: As their link, aliens have nothing more than a mere friendship bracelet. That’s it.
Eagles (Shiratorizawa)
The strongest species that are basically just bigger, reverse-colored versions of crows. They all wear white. The healing and burning method also applies to them.
Link: Same as crows^ Also the wings turn black instead of white on the death part.
Snakes (Nohebi)
Most despised species. Shapeshifters like the cats. Snakes have the ability to mind control other species into doing their dirty work. (all except aliens). They all wear poison-green hooded coats in their human forms. The hoods have the scales of their snake-form as well.
Link: Eyes turn red whenever they look at eachother
I wrote this late at night so if it’s too vague and you still have questions, don’t be afraid to shoot an ask! .I will later add the answer in this post if need be!

AU where Kageyama has difficulty expressing his new feelings to Hinata, so whenever he feels something, he writes it down on a post-it note, and awkwardly hands it to him. Hinata will never show him, but he already has three post-it note filled scrapbooks, and they are his most valued possessions.
