I've just read all the art fics I could find on Tumblr bc I have severe brain rot for this man, but if you're taking requests could you do art with a quiet s/o that decides to try learning miming, they get to be closer with art and they don't have to talk as much, it's a win/win! A/N: I decided to do some of Art The Clown with a Quiet S/O in addition to the miming scenarios because I wasn't 100% sure of what to write, hope you don't mind!

You almost had Art convinced that you were a mime yourself the first few times that he met you, as he was confused about why you wouldn't say anything to him. When you finally speak, and it comes out in tiny whispers, he almost coos at you. He feels a sense of protectiveness over you, and he wants to be able to keep you safe. If you ever mention feeling uncomfortable, he will get you out of the situation and then take care of the situation.

Whenever you are speaking to someone and they didn’t quite catch what you said resulting in you having to repeat it, Art sends them a warning glare.

Art is one of those people, if he could speak, that would take your orders for you and talk to people for you if you asked him too, of course it makes it a little difficult with him being mute but he will still try his best, don’t you worry!

When your speaking, Art would look at you with his chin resting on his hands as he admires you.

You don't even have to ask Art to teach you how to mime like him; the second he sees you copying him, he is already on board with the plan. He knows that you aren't exactly excited to be speaking to people, especially strangers, so he teaches you how to express yourself and your emotions through miming. Whenever you did something he liked he would applaud you, maybe even pull out one of those little party poppers to celebrate.

He also attempts to teach you his little tricks that he can do but obviously with you being human and Art being whatever he is, it doesn’t turn out successful.

Art would definitely try to get you a clown suit that matched his, but if you expressed being uncomfortable with the attention that you gained from wearing it, he wouldn’t force you to. Overall I think Art would take great pleasure in you being a quiet individual because he feels that he can relate to you on a certain level.

I imagine that Art would come up to you, all excited about this new thing that he had learnt through various shows and books. He’d rip a page out of a random book which didn’t match the correct measurements at all meaning that he was doomed to fail from the beginning, nevertheless he still sat in front of you with fumbly hands, toying with the bit of paper until eventually he gives up.
