🎬 Emma would probably be tagged many many times in some popular paparazzi page. And that post was a picture of a person who looked just like you holding hands with some other person.

🎬 She’d probably feel heartbroken and would definitely be extremely upset about it. But then she’d see that the person who looked like you didn’t look all that like you. Sure, you looked similar but not exactly the same.

🎬 But unfortunately her anxieties got the best of her and just assumed it was a weird lighting. And Emma probably wouldn’t confront you in person instead opting for doing it via text.

🎬 When Emma finds out the truth, she’ll expect you to also have some proof to back it up.  But when she finally is convinced of it not being you, she’d apologize immediately.

Yoruko Kabuya 

🍷Yoruko would see a girl who looked shockingly like you from across the bar. And you were with someone else. Yoruko didn’t think much of it at first, just a little mad you didn’t say hello. Or that was until you had kissed this person.

🍷 She tried to get over there to go yell at you and about how you had betrayed her trust. But unfortunately Minako had kept her behind the counter serving people as it was an extremely busy day.

🍷 Then the real you had come in and taken a seat on a bar stoll. And Yoruko immediately got confused because how could you be on two different places at once.

🍷 As she was serving you, she’d ask about what was going on and once you have explained. Yoruko be so thankful for Minako putting her behind the counter. That would’ve been an embarrassing first meeting with your family members.

Sora

❔ You were the only person who recognized Sora and you were the only person she recognized. Although not remembering much about what you did, she remembered that she loved you.

❔ For a motive, Mikado or well Monocrow handed out pictures. And in those pictures it was of a person who looked suspiciously like you and another person kissing, and many more the you look-alike and them going on a date.

❔ Sora is put off with this motive at first, questioning in her mind if it was actually you or not, but instead of confronting you on it, she slept on it.

❔ In the morning she went to go ask you about it, and she had come to the conclusion that you were the one in the picture and she was mad and questioned you over it.

❔ Sora was very embarrassed to find out that she got worked up over her S/O’s cousin making out with their boyfriend. She did apologize 

Kanade Otonokoji

🎵 Another one to hear about this via social media. One thing she hated about your public relationship was that you lacked privacy when you went out in public. Kanade kind of knew once she saw the picture.

🎵 Kanade understood almost immediately that the person in that photo wasn’t you. But she wanted to play up her innocent girl persona with you. So she faked crying and showed up at your place.

🎵 She would intentionally try and make you feel bad for her. Kanade would start up an argument showing pictures that were on social media. But that argument did dissolve quickly.

🎵 Once formally told by you, Kanade would try and guilt trip you for not introducing her to your family beforehand. And she would only then cuddle you as a make up for the argument.

Iroha Nijiue

🎨 Iroha would see a picture taken by one of her older siblings of you and another person. They had multiple pictures of dates and kisses as if her sibling had been stalking you. Which that made her upset.

🎨 She was straight up in denial as she assumed that they were doing this to get her much more focused on her masterpieces. Until Iroha was told by either Emma or Hajime that they had seen you going around with another person.

🎨 Iroha would feel so hurt by this, and would just lock herself in her room and cry for hours. She would draw her ocs getting trauma to cope with the feelings of hurt.

🎨 She would also probably make someone else go and confront you about it, record the situation and send it to her. And which in this case she made Emma do it. After knowing that it was just your cousin she would pretend like none of that ever happened whatsoever.

Hibiki Otonokoji 

🎶 Hibiki would hear about this through Kanade, who would also show proof of a video of you and the other person kissing. Intentionally Hibiki would lash out at Kanade for ever assuming that would’ve been you before breaking down crying for her sister to comfort her.

🎶 She wouldn’t confront you for a while, she would just ghost and ignore you. Avoiding places that you could’ve seen one another in public. Hibiki just felt so betrayed, so many people had left her. Why you too?

🎶 Eventually you two would see each other somehow again, and Hibiki would start crying demanding for an explanation. It created a whole scene but you loved Hibiki so why did it matter?

🎶 Once you told Hibiki that it wasn’t you in those pictures and that it was your cousin, going as far as to FaceTime them to prove it. Hibiki’s blind trust in Kanade’s words would begin to dwindle.

It's going to have to be the story tentatively labelled 'sperm donor'.

My other, bigger WIP is plane crash, but I think I've talked about that one enough! As a result, you get this one.

Essentially, spring of 2004, so post-Supremes but pre-the rest of season 5, a couple of bills have come up that have made CJ start to think about the future, and what's next.

She starts wondering if she's ready to have kids, and if so, how? The answer: a sperm donor.

Which leads to the next question, of who?

And the answer to that is, of course, Danny.

Basically another fic about legacy (why are all my west wing longfics about legacy) even though this was supposed to be a light silly distraction from plane crash. hashtag oops. 💀

Everyone is asking about WIPs 🤭 I'll pick a nice dramatic one~

Rebel:

Shisui has always been quietly rebellious. He skipped ahead in his studies to race through the forests alone, he trained twice as much as his peers without the required supervision of his sensei or the clan tutors. He gorged himself on his favourite foods because he was alone in his parents' house, he bought treats and presents for Itachi even when his aunt and uncle said 'no', he pressed money into begging hands before pickpocketed the extra back from nobles who sneered at the public as they passed. He was, in his own quiet acts, always chipping away at the stranglehold of control that the Elders had over him.

...But Shisui was also obedient to a painful degree; he's Mikoto-hime’s nephew, second in line for the clan headship after his baby cousin, and an orphan to boot; fugaku has raised him from the day itachi was born, especially since Shisui was orphaned (3 years ago, his parents died just before Itachi turned 3) to be the shadow, shield and sword of his cousin’s present and future. Shisui would follow Itachi’s leadership, haunt his progress, for the rest of their lives.

Its an honour.

Its a prison.

Its weighing down the only real friendship Shisui has.

And Shisui’s not sure how hes supposed to go on like this, a pawn to the elders and clan head.

And then... his genin team dies and Shisui wakes up in the hospital with the youngest ever matured mangekyou. The Elders, horrified and delighted, are huddled around him, looking like he's the best weapon they've ever seen. A thing, a tool, and Shisui wishes none of it had ever happened, could feel the choking need to flee from everything... But they're interrupted:

The Last Hatake, son of the ruined White Fang, has arrived back from the front lines with a stolen Sharingan implanted in his head. They want to kill him, a public execution and a complete annihilation of everything that the Hatake had ever been, and they don't seem to notice that Shisui is listening. That Shisui is sneaking from his own hospital bed to the next ward, creeping through the window to find a boy, a few years older than him, shivering from grief and from the malevolent Uchiha chakra on the other side of the door.

And thats when Shisui really starts breaking all the rules.

Ta dah! I'm not sure where else this wip is going but it's a good premise, I like it a lot because Minato features very heavily and it's very much found-family and healing and finding purpose, but... Enjoy what I do have to offer!

⭕: Dum Dum

Ares is fascinated by Dum Dum--he's so...strange to her, but she very much enjoys his company, and they have similar interests in common--they can talk about machines for hours, and have done so, on more than one occasion. Dum Dum acts a sort of self-appointed wingman, even if Ares never indicated needed one. He decided she did though, and she doesn't mind the company, so she let him have it. And even if Ares won't admit it, he deserves credit for setting her up with her mainline too. Ares is the one he comes to when he needs help with a bot, or someone he can trust with his cybernetics, and he's a supplier for her when there's a part she can't find anywhere else. She's learned to stop asking where they're coming from and realizes she'd rather not know. She makes for an unxpected presence at Totentantz with Pat and Dum Dum but people don't give her too much trouble, as long as she stays out of theirs.

🚓: River

Ares gets along with River, particularly after he quits the police force. She admires how warm he is with his family, and the lengths he's willing to go to for Randy, although privately admits to herself that she'd have given him a wide berth before. Her citizenship is non-existent, and it would be enough reason for her to approach with caution. He seems nice but he's still a cop, and trepidition is a safe assumption when you're as used to border crossings as she is, and as well acquainted with smuggling. It's a relief to her when he leaves, she feels like she's allowed to enjoy his company more, without the unease. Granted, she's never discussed business with him, and he doesn't ask, there are some things that don't need to be talked about, and who's cars or mechs she's fixing isn't his concern, and she doesn't intend on making it his.

❔: Patricia/Ofelia

Patricia met Ares through Dum Dum, just to humor him, and get him to stop pestering her. She wasn't expecting to be taken by the Nomad and Ares didn't expect it either, and the two make an endearingly mismatched couple. They're a case of opposites attract but in this case, the contrast works--Ares chills Patricia out, and Patricia reminds her to take time for her too, and stop giving too much of herself up, and keeps an eye on her. They started out as acquaintances, and then Ares offered to fix her optics as a favor--she noticed they weren't working the way they should, and started as mild curiosity on her part, and snowballed into more and more time spent together, less of it regarding work and more of it casually seeing the other. It's casual until it's not and they both realize they've been spending more time together than apart, so gradually that neither notice at first.

Hiro:

⭕: Dum Dum

Hiro and Dum Dum have an...interesting relationship--although their first real meeting was Hiro attempting to buy the flathead off them, it was far from their last. It wasn't the first time they'd brushed elbows, he'd seen the other around Totentantz, even if they'd never talked before. Dum Dum approached him after the meeting when he saw him next, impressed he'd come out of it without getting flatlined by Royce, and they shared more than a couple drinks. Hiro doesn't remember who's idea it was, but he ended up in the others bed, and the two have a casual FWB situation. Hiro can't deny he enjoys the risk the other brings--he's never been one to shy away from a bit of chrome and Maelstrom brings that in spades, along with some excitement, and the opportunity to indulge a little.

🚓: River

River grows on Hiro but it's slow. His intial response is, 'oh great another fucking cop,' and it's only after he starts to see other facets of him, that he's able to let him in, slightly. Although he isn't, Hiro sees River as hopelessly naive, and idealistic, as opposed to his own brand of cynicism, that comes from constantly seeing the worst Night City has to offer. And he knows that being a 'good' cop in Night City isn't really possible--you're either good and get pushed out by someone corrupt and silenced, or you're dead. And he admires wanting to do something better, but he knows it's not always that easy, and that Night City will always be resistant to the efforts. But he also sees how strongly he loves his family, and that's something he shares in common--although his aren't related by blood. River's opinion of him goes up astronomically when he sees how kindly he treats Randy, and how much empathy he has there--he understands being in similar situations and desperate for someone to trust, and he's a listening ear, should the teen ever need someone to talk to, who isn't Joss or River.

Avi:

💴: Hanako

Although Avi didn't work directly with Hanako, he'd seen her in passing, or in a professional setting. He'd admired her poise, and how she conducted herself, and always wondered what was going on underneath the carefully constructed shell, much like her other relations. He finds her bodyguard distasteful, and is careful not to voice this. There's a tinge of jealousy there, not for his proximity to Hanako, but the fact that his job is 'cleaner'--he's the one they turn to when negotiations are over, and they would like their client to disappear discreetely. Avi finds Hanako to be intriguing, she's clearly a threat, albeit in a different way from her brother--much closer to Saburo than Yorinobu, and privately he'd like to see what she's capable of, when pushed a bit. Would she crack, or emerge stronger?

Hey Pyro :D

I feel I should go with my two Among Us wips for this one, huh? warning for death n violence in the first one, oops. Im gonna stick this under a read more, it got long.

So my first is an animation, that haunts me as as all my animations do, set as all good animations should be, to ABBA's Gimme Gimme Gimme (a man after midnight)

its so dark.

Theres lowkey a lot of people dying and gore, oh my god, but its mostly off screen, so hey! this is what is affectionately known as my angst Au, and I have currently story boarded about 24 seconds, when its meant to run over the entire length of the song.

hhh.

Its uh, what I would call the finale of that au? some context, there's two impostors, both with very different reasons for being there, and both with very different reasons for even being imposters. Those two are Pink and Cyan.

Pink, my bastard child, is probably considered the true imposter, but in their defence, they didn't want to be there. Their species, a line of asexually reproducing autonomic plants prone to adaptable mutation, just so happened to have a seed whistling through the vaccum just so happened to pierce the glove of the poor og pink on a spacewalk. in the wake of the 'my glove just got depressurized in vacuum' the seed was missed, and pink (bastard) ate pink (poor bastard) from the inside out, with a unique ability to preserve a certain amount of the og meat's memories, to go along with the inherited memory passed along their family lines.

so pink is pink now, and obviously better than their predecessor bc that guy died and they wont, except theyre on a ship tracking towards a hyperjump, which is really, really bad new for a species that cant survive hyperjumps. also purple, the xenobiologist with a degree in psychology, whom had slowly been befriending them, just straight up asked them if they were an imposter, and they may have panicked and eaten their face, so there's that.

And that kinda kicks off everything.

And then there's Cyan. Cyan is the security officer, and his job is to protect the crew. Cyan is a very decorated, very senior security officer, who should have probably gotten trauma leave, but this is MIRA, because he just came from polus where he was one of only two survivors of a devastating alien viral attack, which cumulated in him having to shoot his not-his-friends-anymore.

Basically, Cyan's crew just got 'The Thing'd, and Cyan....

..well Cyan's been feeling sick lately. Cyan's been bleeding black, lately. Cyan's just came to awareness over the still gurgling body of his junior officer with Cyan's knife in Limes gut, and he's still not sure if he was the one in control, the one who did that or not.

So Cyan's having a fun time.

and thats what ultimately leads into the finale. Of their crew of twelve and one civilian occupant, Lime, Purple, White and Brown are dead, Pink has been revealed to not be pink, Green, Black, Red and Yellow are currently MIA, and Cyan just got ejected by the monster on board. The only crew that Blue, the captain, has been able to find is her second officer, Orange and his very scared child, on her way to the emergency lifepod's after she made a call to scramble the ship, the last broadcast before the internal systems went down. Because the skeld is slowly getting dragged into Polus's gravity, and Blue is very, very scared for her crew.

The Crew in turn, are scattered around the ship, some injured, some fighting to reboot systems to make sure the lifepods can even detach (MIRA incompetency at work again), one no-longer-crew desperately trying to get the engines going so they can commandeer the ship, and one with a gun in hand hunting down the sunovabitch that killed her friends. Red has never handled a gun before, but shes maybe not exactly thinking straight right now.

Because here's the thing. Ghosts are very, very real in my au, and there is a certain lime ghost who does know how, and they've just learned they can affect the physical world still, and whats a little possession with lives on the line?

And here's the last thing. Cyan, poor ejected Cyan floating in the vacuum, the infected imposter fighting against himself to stick to his job to protect and save the crew..

Well, Cyan hasn't had the good manners to die just yet. And Cyan is pissed at Pink.

And that's what kicks off the angst au finale animation :D

Annnnnd then a complete tone change, with a small excerpt from the other, much more comedy Among Us au, aka Define Imposter, aka Lime joins the Idjit Crew (affectionate) aka that Time I Accidentally Wrote a Hallmark Movie in Space, whose current reviews are "I would kill for them and I'm stealing them' from Brass, and 'I hate that I enjoyed it and it was Amogus,' from an anonymous irl, which I feel is pretty good for feedback:

"Captain," Lime stressed, "surely this ship can't be above board - wasn't this particular line of freighters recalled over ten years ago?"

Brown laughed sheepishly, pausing in the hallway, "I mean, technically yes, but ours is pretty refurbished and she’s had some extensive overhaul done to her, so they gave us a pass." 

The lines 'the outer rim’s are short on functioning deep-vacuum capable ships so they run them well past their use-by' and 'no scrapyard mechanic even wants to approach the nest Yellow has going on at the back of the ship' were left unsaid.

"Besides!" Brown chuckled. "She’s a good ship, this old girl. I've been flying her for over the decade, and she's nothing if not reliable." She banged on the wall for emphasis.

Unfortunately that particular poor panel, unable to take anymore in its decades of abuse came loose at browns savagery, falling from the wall with a great clatter, and revealing the Skeld’s innards and some horrifying little charm probably left by Purple, bouncing once then falling flat with a final death rattle.

Both Lime and Brown stared at it, silently, before the captain coughed abruptly into the offending fist. 

"I'm going to go get an engineer to fix that. Good talk, Comm's Officer Lime." Brown nodded stiffly, clapped lime on the shoulder, and broke into a brisk jog down the corridor and around the corner.

Lime felt that small shred of reassurance Brown had just allowed him slip away just as mournfully fast.

WELL i kinda always was younger in heaspdeace bc of my caretakers in headpsace but i just figured that was a system thing but then i leanred it was a real thing! i made this blog but dleted then actualy remade bc i founded ur stories n that community n it made me feel comfrrtvle enouf to revisit :P the community rules were super inminitating at firs too but once i new good pol to folow it was easy peasy !!!

Hey thanks for the ask!!

❌What WIP do you find the most challenging? Why?

Hands down, this one goes to something I've tentatively titled "Out of Focus", which is about a man who can view snippets of the past through photographs and uses this power to be an "avenger for hire". Now, the premise itself is dope as fuck, especially since I have plenty of things in it that has me excited (including Siobhan, a dullahan who uses their decapitated head for pranks and eats via osmosis). It's my answer to the unasked question of "What if Max from Life is Strange had a revenge fantasy"... except Charlie's power is more voyeuristic and he can't change the past.

However, the reason this WIP is so challenging is because of Charlie himself, the main character. There are facets of his character that are a little too close to home for me to be able to comfortably write about this book for too long. Not only that, but some of the themes I want to tackle are a bit... much for me right now, I think.

So I haven't been able to... do much with it. I want to. And I've slowly inched myself closer and closer to a state of being where I CAN write it... still can't yet, though. Not yet.

Everyone and their dad knows about ASMLP at this point, so I'm not gonna bore you going over something you already know about.

Instead, I want to talk about short stories, because those are the things next up that I have the most of, and the most ideas for. Here's short spurts about a couple.

By now, my grievances with myth retellings are well-documented, but I'm still quite excited about my take on Eros and Psyche. It's not a myth I see a lot of retellings for, to begin with. Furthermore, I'm really a fan of what I've got for the outline in terms of plot and whatnot. I'm really excited to see this develop. It's definitely going to be a longer short story... perhaps my longest so far.

A long, long time ago I wrote a short story called Sloth which was about a sloth in a zoo exhibit who becomes a young boy's sole confidant and, eventually, the only living being to witness his suicide. I think the premise is interesting on its own and have been wanting to rework it, anyway, but the drive to do so recently got refueled by a writing advice book I'm reading from Chuck Palahniuk. I won't say what the advice was yet, but the idea I got as a result is something that has me quite excited to start working again on this one.

I've been tossing around a short story idea called In Time for The Wedding. It is, as Audre Lorde or Michelle Tea might call it, a Biomythography. Based on some real events, combined with a possibility that never happened. This one, much like OOF (what an acronym) is dealing with some subjects that are going to make this an... inherently more difficult short to work with, but I still want to

I'm planning a short story about a Hestia devotee that has the barest bones of plot and is mostly vibes but I still like the ideas I've penned down for it so far!

Those are all the ones at the forefront of my mind rn. Thanks for the ask 💕💕💕

hi oli!! ty for stopping by and giving me this chance to ramble 😊

since i answered the last ask about my ph!bkg x villain!reader wip, i'll talk about one of my other favorites atm!! it's a super slow burn ph!kirishima x aspiring actor!reader story.

one day i was just rewatching some of s4 when i was suddenly sledgehammered with the intensity of kirishima's backstory, and it hit me how amazing his character truly is; honor, chivalry, redemption, an intense need to prove himself (to himself) while facing very real insecurities, a deeply innate need to protect, and just... so many emotionally moving things...

anyway, i was on a desperate hunt for a long, slow burning kiri-centric fic to read before i eventually gave up and started breaking my brain to make up my own 😔 (i did find a few reallyyyy good kiribaku fics to hold me over, but it was already too late)

so eventually i came up with a story where reader is an aspiring actor, but atm she's not really landing any notable jobs. she's also a model on the side and ironically, she's got more success on that front bc she's pretty. which is great for landing her modeling gigs, but also gets her typecasted quite a bit for acting gigs. she wants to prove that she has The Range and get picked for all kinds of roles, but atm no one is really hiring her for anything outside of the pretty girl side character

so i figured that this was kind of a way that she and kirishima could connect, bc they both understand insecurity and have ambition to prove themselves. they get along really well and support one another so easily, and it feels so natural that they can't really help but start to fall for one another. which is kinda tough since they're both currently seeing other people 🤭😬 uh oh

so yeah, that's really gonna drag things out and make the slow burn THAT much slower lmaooo but i swear when the time comes, it'll be so worth it bc kirishima is just that kind of character. he will get a deserving, fulfilling romance that is filled with deep emotion, longing, and real connection bc that's just the kind of man he is 😤

anyway, lots of yearning, pining, bit of character study, a little drama, much love, eventual smut ofc, oh yeah and crimson riot also happens to be reader's uncle in this (i swear it'll be relevant to the story later lmao). another wip that has been in the works for a hot minute, but i am still very, very excited for!!

TYSM for asking <3 idk if i've said it before but i'm still doing a playthrough with sal, so i'm still figuring out how tf her canon turns out. also, spoilers beware. (questions taken from here)

🍙 - Goro Takemura: When he and Sal truly get to know each other, after he drags her out of the landfill and literally saves her life, she can't help but empathize with Takemura. Both are strangers in a strange land, fish out of water who despise Night City and know that this isn't the place they're meant to be. However, his allegiance to Arasaka and insistence of still aligning with them even when Sal tells him that he has the chance of starting over and making a life outside of corporate servitude is something that ends up driving a rift between them and souring their relationship. In my canon, he ends up escaping Arasaka forces during Search and Destroy while Sal is the one who gets captured, and shit happens from there. I still haven't figured out his canon fate, but knowing who Sal ends up dating and the corporation's fate, I don't think that things go peachy for Goro. (Goro stans don't kill me pls)

👁 - Sandayu Oda: Besides a couple of snarky comments about his appearance and very impractical haircut that almost got her ass beaten, their relationship is… tense. Oda is loyal to Hanako to a T, and when some dusty nomad not only kidnaps her but also starts dating her disaster of a brother (while it's not elaborated on canon, I think Oda and Yorinobu would probably not get along very well) AND has the nerve to beat him in a fight, you can probably imagine how they feel about each other. At first, Sal is also low-key scared of him (those icy blue optics will always look uncanny to her and the mantis blades don't help), but she quickly realizes that he's just an annoying twink (her words, not mine).

💴- Hanako Arasaka: As it should be obvious, kidnapping your (future) sister-in-law doesn’t leave a good first impression (who would’ve thought?). Honestly, I still need to work on their relationship a lot, because, again, canon is still a WIP: while I don’t see Hanako as much of a rebel as her brother, Yorinobu still loves her, so I don’t feel like her fate would be the same as the other canon endings that aren’t the Devil (aka she ends up dead). But what I do know is that her icy, perfect, manicured facade lowkey scares Sal the first time they meet face-to-face and still does (she either feels like Hanako is judging her, plotting her demise, or both); but that if they ever get to know each other more deeply, they quickly get along and Sal ends up glad to have her as her in-law. Their fave pasttime is watching Real Housewives of Heywood and talking shit about the cast.

🔧- Saul Bright: Sal’s feelings towards him are… complicated. During their first meetings, she thinks he’s a stuck up asshole who wants to impose his own will on the clan, which is a big no-no to her. However, during Riders on the Storm, after she and Panam almost die trying to rescue him, Sal softens up and understands him a little bit more (after all, if Panam is willing to raid an entire Wraith camp to get him back despite their disagreements, he must mean a lot to the Aldecaldos). Sal does eventually side with Panam in her quest to royally piss off Saul get the Basilisk, but she still respects Saul even though she disagrees with him.

❔- Receiver/Sender’s Choice! (If there’s someone not on the list!): Let's talk about Claire! Two trans ladies who love cars obviously make for a long-lasting friendships despite Sal's extremely bad and dangerous driving (and Claire still wondering how the hell they even made it into the final race). After the Sampson incident, the two have a big fight where a lot of personal feelings are involved and end up not speaking to each other for a while; when Claire finally calls Sal back, Relic fuckery has gotten worse and the two don't truly reunite after the game's ending.
