Ok... so, I may have had a little too much fun with this one, and now I can't wait for li'l Aspen to be a child!!! 🥹🧡

Hi! My name is Aspen, but most people call me Annie, and I’m ten-and-a-half years old.

My mom is a Director at the Dreamer Foundation (whatever that means). And my dad is the Mayor of San Myshuno. They both work a lot. A LOT. I spend most days after school at home alone. Well, not alone alone. My dog, Pepper, is here with me. We play and go for walks. She’s really smart too. My uncle Asher is teaching me how to train her. She already knows how to sit and lay down. Next, I’m going to teach her how to roll over. Asher has a dog too. Her name is Pixel and she’s so cute! Pixel and Pepper are best friends! My best friend is Mei. She’s been my best friend since before I knew the word “best friend”. At least, that’s what my mom says.

Sometimes on the weekends Atlas, Asher, Pixel, Pepper, and me will all go to the Bay to visit Grandma Megan and Grandpa Alex. I love their house! It’s right by the ocean and has the biggest backyard I’ve ever seen! My cousin Spencer lives there too with her mom and stepdad. She’s a teenager, and she’s really cool. She has lots of friends and a boyfriend (but that’s a secret, so don’t tell anyone I told you), and she’s a songwriter. Her and Grandpa Alex are trying to teach me how to play the guitar, but it’s really hard and I’m not very good at it. Sometimes I need a break, so I’ll help Grandma Megan with her plants. She’s teaching me all about plants and flowers and herbs. One day I’m going to have a great big garden!

We always make it back home on Sunday because that’s when me and dad make dinner for everyone. It’s my favorite time of every week! My favorite thing to make is stuffed peppers. We buy them in every color. My favorite is the orange ones. Uncle Atlas likes the green ones. Ew!

Tonight, we were supposed to make risotto, but dad hasn’t come home yet. Mom says he’s stuck at work, but he never works late on Sundays. It’s our night. Atlas said he’d help me make the risotto, but I didn’t want to cook with him. I wanted to cook with my dad. I got really mad and ran to my room and locked the door. I’m not letting anyone in until he gets home. But it’s almost ten o’clock. I'm supposed to be asleep and my tummy is grumbling.

I hope he gets home soon…

Idea for a story: Currently writing one of her, Roy, and Grant on Halloween (will be published: ???)

Unpopular opinion: Everyone needs to stop talking about UtRH because Roy and Lian's reunion in Green Arrow (2023) #1 is the only father and formerly dead child reunion that matters now.

Favourite relationship: I mean, I can't not say Roy, can I. Literally the father/daughter dynamic of all time. Aside from that it's Uncle Nightwing <3

Favourite headcanon: I hc that sometimes when Lian doesn't wanna do something she "plays worm". She will lie on the floor and refuse to get up and if anyone asks her why she'll say "I'm a worm". Roy has gotten many calls from babysitters about this.

💚 - what does everyone get wrong about your favourite character?

as we can all guess, kayo is my fave shdkkd and i wouldn't say it's something Everyone gets wrong, but I do think people assuming she's really girly and spends loads of time thinking about that kind of stuff is kind of inaccurate. it's probably influenced by tin-tin, who is much more feminine, but kayo is very different from her! from what we find out about her personality she's more of a tomboy, into less traditionally feminine things like video games and combat and fighter pilot training etc - and anyone who wears green cargo trousers boots and a blue tshirt probably isn't too fussed about how she looks (though i do want a word with the character design people because it's NOT the best look lmao)

There is no judgment in Pierre’s voice, only curiosity, when he asks, “Why?”

Yuki looks up at him. Pierre is watching him. There is something gentle in his eyes that Yuki finds he cannot look at for too long. He looks back down to the paper in his hands. “There is a legend,” he says, making a fold in the paper. “One thousand of these, and you get a wish.”

“And does the wish get granted?” asks Pierre. He is still looking at Yuki, not the paper in his hands.

Yuki shrugs. “I don’t know,” he says. “Maybe. I hope so.”

Pierre shifts until his shoulder is touching Yuki’s. “What would you wish for?” he asks, almost in a whisper.

“I don’t know,” Yuki says again. He’s also whispering. His hands are still in his lap. “I don’t know what to ask for.”

“How many have you made?” Pierre asks. He looks around at the paper cranes scattered on the floor around Yuki, and then back at him.

“Ninety-eight.”

“Maybe you’ll think of something as you go.”

“Maybe,” echoes Yuki. He looks down in his lap and folds down a wing. He doesn’t say that half the things he wants are no longer possible, and the other half he is afraid to wish for.

Pierre sits with him silently for thirty more cranes, until Yuki’s hands are cramping, back aching. Neither of them speak. Around them, the pile of little paper cranes grows steadily in size.

Soon there will be a thousand, and it will be the end.

Cochle character design is cool. How did you come up with her design?

Background Info:

The cat maid (in the TWST school uniform) is Cloche (OC), while the cat maid in the original maid outfit is my sona! It gets a little confusing since Cloche also wears the unaltered maid outfit, but she’s usually drawn in the school uniform. Generally, I think it can be guessed whenever I’m using Cloche or Cat-maid Chris ^^

Concept/General Answer:

Surprise surprise-! The concept is really just me in one of the classic, cat-maid uniforms from Amazon. OFC, I have the IRL fit— or else I can’t brand myself as an IRL cat-maid, now can I? To include the TWST elements, I wanted to go for a maid-like vibe, rather than full on maid.

Process: In-depth

The headdress and apron were the most recognizable accessories, so I kept those. I also figured that with NRC’s black blazers, overlaying an apron on top would make it reminiscent of a maid. For the hem of the blazer to be smoother and more skirt-like, I had Cloche turn the blazer to the side so there wouldn’t be the slit in the center. I loosely based it on the Chinese Tang-suit and Qipao. Moving to the bells, the cat ears/tail had the bell/bows attached to them, the armband is originally a collar but Cloche wears it as an armband, and the bow bell is based on how some magical girls fashioned their charm. For the heels, they’re just basic black heels but I put cat buckles on them, to drill in the cat motif.

As for face, I’m always conscious to draw Cloche with “bored-looking eyes”. The upper lid of her eyes are always flat, in a straight line. I try my best to be careful to make sure they’re not slanted, or else that’d change Cloche’ apathetic vibe completely. When it comes to eyes in general, I try to match them to the personality I see the character as. The red eyeshadow under Cloche’ eyes is loosely based on Classical Chinese make up. Except for the eyes, there’s not much to say.

For the hair, I have a dyed underlayer myself. Even though the dye has faded to blonde, I decided to keep it that way since it’d be easier to match with other colours. I wanted less potential colour clashes as possible. For the shape, Cloche’ hair is more wavy/frizzy than completely straight. I’ve been drawing Cloche more with wavier hair, since my own hair has grown to be wavier (I’m having one of those realizing my hair isn’t naturally straight situations-)

Now… the bangs. The bangs are a whole can of worms. Until this year, I’ve finally settled on a solid design I can stick to. Before, I was very uncommitted with Cloche’ bangs since I wanted to base it on my own hair, yet I also wanted to base it on my inspo. I ended up choosing the crescent shaped bangs, because I wanted Cloche to be similar enough to be recognized as me, but not quite. I love both versions, the shorter, and the longer— but I figured the shorter version gave me an easier and more distinct shape to work with. For me, silhouette is key in designing.

Yes it is illegal. But would the government even question, let alone acknowledge it when it's protecting everyone from a world-wide threat? Not as likely. For all anyone thinks, Sonic is doing this for himself and the people. The mobius "government" is mostly unaware, though there are some who secretly have been providing information and aid.

Amy wants to tell, she really does, but she doesn't know how deep things go. She doesn't want to risk herself or Sonic until she knows exactly how much power the company has. She needs a plan to escape, a place for them to escape to, and the knowledge on how to make sure everyone involved is safe. All she knows is she was taken suddenly to be a "love interest" and fellow hero, she thinks the same happened to Sonic but can't understand why he won't just run away with her and the others.

if you were to redesign the sdr2 cast what would u do

hehehe idk if i would go for a total redesign for a lot of the charas bc i really like a lot of the designs in dr2, especially ppl like ibuki, kazuichi, and gundham. :^)

I think the biggest thing i would change would be that I would give half the girls pants, and do a complete redesign of akane's outfit to actually fit her character. She would wear something sporty and comfortable, something she can move in, but maybe not branded sportswear. Like maybe a loose tshirt and some gym shorts. I think she doesnt care about fashion and would pretty much wear whatever she can get that is the most comfortable and least restrictive.

Peko would be another that gets pants, for a similar reason. And i think chiaki would wear sweatpants. AND i don't like how fitting chiaki's sweater is. I wish it was looser and more cozy looking.

I've seen a lot of great mikan redesigns that make her actually look like a nurse, but medical stuff bothers me a bit so i haven't really thought about how I would mess with her design much. I think it would be cool if she wore some custom scrubs.

Idk if messing with body types counts as redesigning but ofc i would fix the weird anatomy with the imposter and teruteru. And plenty of the other charas are too skinny but that's getting more into just my headcanons lol.

I think hajime could benefit a lot from some design changes, namely adding a few points of interest that aren't his tie. But I understand that his design is meant to be plain and unassuming, but if I had the choice I would add small details that imply he's an alt kid wannabe who is restricted by strict parents and a rigid school dress code. Like he paints his nails but his parents won't let him get piercings so he has to settle for clip on earrings and he loses them constantly.

last thing i would do i think is change nagito's shoes to look less ridiculous

but yeah that's pretty much it because i like a lot of the dr2 designs as they are. 🤔 the sprites and art for that game is prob my fav in the series. sdr2 has some vibrancy to the color choices that add a lot that thh and v3 are lacking sometimes.

Entering was scary, especially with what just happened, but another tall Pokemon helping allowed Wesn feel less out-of-place. It helped the cashier didn't seem to have a big reaction to the either of them, either.

Even with the small gesture, when Wesn was handed the item, it couldn't help but tear up a bit.

"O-oh, don't worry, I am! I'm happy. I really am." He didn't really know why he was tearing up, but...
