Koda Kumi released a cover of Miho Nakayama’s hit 1991 song “Tooi Machi no Dokoka de...”. And with it, she maintains her record of great covers.
It’s a real shame this wasn’t pushed as a single proper, because it’s one of the best singles she’s released in a while. AND she’s giving us the winter coat and being outside in the snow vibe that J-pop has sorely been lacking. Kumi used to be one of the poster girls for these types of videos.
