Even though pacing is a bit uneven in these later episodes, I'm still on my toes for what's coming next.
For example, what's going on with Wei Wuxian's sword Suibian? Why can he suddenly use it? Has his golden core mended in some way? Or is he using it without qi in some way?
Also, we in the normal boring world have umbrella stands, while the cultivation world has sword stands.
Hi there 朱朱, your blog popped up under my "Check out these blogs" section. So I didi! Just wanna say...Ask me anything would sound more nature if it's 隨你問 or 隨便你問 or more closely translated, 問什麼都可以!
問我隨便吧 is grammatically incorrect because 隨便 is an adverb here and it doesn't work if it comes after the verb.
For example, if you're at a shop, the shop owner might say 隨便看看喔 meaning "you're free to look around" as in an encouraging way for you to pick things up and maybe try it on. They will not say 看看隨便喔! because when 隨便 is used as an adjective it's quite insulting.
I have a sideblog where I do language-related stuff. 隨便看看喔!
LMAO CAN YOU TELL I DID THAT TRANSLATION LIKE A YEAR AGO RIP
Obviously I did not understand 随便 back then lol Thank you so much for such a detailed explanation!!! Tbh I didn't even remember doing "ask me anything" in Chinese.
I shall go fix it 🫡
And I'll post this so my followers can have your awesome explanation :D
i know this new song is stylistically quite different from the metal-pop sound of the esc era and the last few releases, so i'm not surprised some fans don't know what to think of it or just downright don't like it. but personally i have been waiting for another rap release, and i was a little nervous kä would start to prioritize market appeal over having fun with his music and being authentically silly. so i'm quite glad!
i know i should save my thoughts for the full song but i'm already so obsessed with the little snippet, the beat is very catchy and käärijä's flow is so rhythmically satisfying~
