and I, believe it or not, think that’s an excellent analogy. Just not in the way they do.

The peanut room has several signs around it warning people that this is the room where there are peanuts, so you shouldn’t go in there if you have an allergy to them. Now, the anti, in this equation, is someone with a peanut allergy. They chose to ignore the signs, they walk into the room with the peanuts, and they have an allergic reaction. They then demand that, instead of them going back to the room that doesn’t have peanuts in it so they won’t get hurt, everyone in this room stop eating peanuts altogether. When the people who are just trying to eat their lunch in peace say ‘no, that’s stupid, this is the space specifically for eating peanuts, you have your own,’ the anti decides to stick around harassing people who eat peanuts and causing themself to have more allergic reactions.
