you spin around, and there’s this little moment where he’s taken aback because you’re actually really cute. he blinks a couple of times dumbly, brows raised and lips parted. “do you live here?” your voice is just that little bit more quiet now because you weren’t expecting someone close to your age, let alone someone as handsome.

“that i do.” he steps up onto the porch. “what can i do for ‘ya?” he finds his keys, tossing them up in his palm.

“well i was riding my bike near by and i rolled into a bush and my wheel flew off and i grazed my knee.” you extend your leg, drawing his attention to the bloodied graze. he makes a face, turning his head a little with an ‘oo’ sound following at the gash. “i was wondering if you just had a bandaid… and if you knew how to fix this.” you point to where your bike is stood up beside his house, a lopsided pink bunch of scrap essentially with the wheel comically perched beside it.

john b unlocks the door and gives you a friendly smile he tried his hardest to make appear as non-threatening, nodding his head inside. “come on in.”

you get chatting as he lets you clean your knee up and patch it up, exchanging names and small talk before he heads over to your bike, letting you sit by him as he does his best handiwork to screw the wheel back on.

“yeah, you know my friend jj is way better at this kinda thing than i am. should get you home in one piece though.” he stands back, observing his work and you grin, elated.

“you’re the best, i owe you big time john b.”

“you owe me nothing. you’ll come back if you need anything at all though, right?”

of course, you took that literally — and started to find excuses to show up almost every day like a lost puppy until he had no choice but to make you his. the rest is history !

Leon:

Leon has seen pictures of your Absol before he actually met the sweet Pokémon. He compliments the red against white that the Pokémon displays, which makes you smile. The day he's meant to meet your longest companion, he makes sure to bring not only some flowers for you, but plenty of treats and even some toys for your Absol as well

He enters your home, nervous but calm. And your Absol approaches him without wariness. As Leon sits on the couch while you fetch a vase for the flowers, Absol even climbs onto the cushions with him, offering its head for pets and accepting the treats with a pleased purr.

You return to the living room to find Absol snoozing in Leon's lap, and immediately dissolve into tears of relief. Leon is immediately concerned, wanting to comfort you but not wanting to startle you Absol. You sink to your knees next to him, admit that things weren't always the best for you, so Absol protected you best it could from harm. And for it to be so relaxed with Leon, it must mean he's safe.

Leon hugs you best he can with your Pokémon in his lap, kissing your crown. He promises himself then and there to always protect you. And in his lap, Absol smiles.

Raihan:

Raihan doesn't get a heads up before meeting you Absol. He's had a bout of bad luck after a tournament that left him at your door, hoping for a couch to crash on since his hotel had an infestation of Skwovet that turned the place into a storage container for endless mountains of berries and other squirreled away food. Luckily, you let him in without hesitation

Your Absol, brilliant red with pure white fur, stares Raihan down as he enters. His brows raise, but he smiles, greeting the Pokémon kindly. You go to get the man a drink, leaving your Pokémon to make its decision on your newest friend. Absol, slowly rising to its feet, makes its way to Raihan. The gym leader swallows, intimidated by those intense eyes staring him down

But Absol mere bumps its head into Raihan's palm, sitting at his feet as Raihan pets it. When you return with the drink, you nearly drop it, finding Absol purring and braced on Raihan so it can lick at his cheek. Raihan chuckles, and give you a warm smile, but it falls when he sees the tears rolling down your cheeks. He's safe, you realize. You're safe, finally.

Raihan immediately moves Absol off of him, rising to catch you in a hug. You set the drink down, and bury yourself in Raihan's hold, Absol brushing against your legs. You ramble out to him every relieved thought that crosses your mind, and though it's not all coherent, Raihan gets an idea of what your past must've been like. He rocks you both side to side, and gives Absol a smile. It nods in return, an unspoken agreement to protect you passing between them

I feel like KC would be much more dismissive of it other than tossing the usual water, oil, and easy foods to him, given Eclipse isn’t his favorite child. Though he’d fawn over him if the twins are keeping watch over him.

Blood Moon may be worse or better depending on how bloodlusty they are. If they’re pretty far in their bloodlust, they would probably try to shock him, but if they weren’t, then they may actually care about it and sit on the end of his bed like a guard dog without quite knowing how to help him, though their presence gives him some comfort.

Sun can’t ignore protocols, so if he’s sick or having a bad week, Sun will get him comfy and make sure he’s taken care of. Moon will simply put Eclipse in his bed and tell the Computer to monitor him and his vitals as well as heal him if it can. Lunar sends the twins home with special foods that are made to make Eclipse feel better, or at least a bit happier.

I feel like he'd be a sneakerhead. He might not be able to afford new ones but he does save and buy some for his birthday every year.

How about them with an s/o who's older brother is Guzma! They never joined team skull because he is protective as hell, but their association with team skull is still heavily looked down upon. Leon:

Leon wants to meet your family really badly. You don't ever talk about your parents, but he knows you have a brother, one still back in Alola, that you love very much. You're always talking about how strong of a trainer he is, and how he took care of you when you were both little, before you moved to Galar to pursue a career. Leon knows you really look up to your brother, so he wants to meet him, introduce himself and let your brother know he plans to take care of you, just like your brother did

He manages to convince you (as well as the league) to allow him to accompany you to Alola for a vacation. He's excited, but Leon can see the nerves that plague you whenever he brings up your brother. He doesn't understand why, but some prodding has you admitting your bro isn't the best with meeting people, especially your partners. Leon assures you that it's okay, he's good with people, but you don't look convinced.

Leon understands why when you meet your brother in Po Town on Ula'ula Island. You tackle a man that's surrounded by young kids dressed like gangsters and a woman that looks ready to rip a head off. They all swarm you, but the tallest, your brother, stays leaning against your back, arm casually around your neck. You're smiling, so Leon chooses to approach, and wave when everyone looks at him

Guzma immediately snarls, and snarks at Leon for dating his little sibling. Leon takes it all in stride, though, being so sunny and cheerful that Guzma can't keep it up. It doesn't help that the grunts all recognize that he's Champion Leon, and immediately start to go nuts over the fact their Boss' Sibling is dating a Champion

Leon isn't perturbed about Guzma's sour attitude, nor by the fact that he used to be a leader of Team Skull. You've told him so much about your brother, and the things he did to make sure outcast kids like you both had somewhere safe to be. Leon knows that Guzma is a good guy deep down, so he keeps trying to bond with Guzma, eventually wearing him down into being friendlier by enthusing about Guzma's bug types, to your chagrin. At least they're getting along now?

Raihan:

Raihan, being a little more prevalent on social media than his buddy Leon, knows immediately who your brother is when you mention his name. Well, he has a clue, but you confirm it when he asks. Raihan soothes your worries about him leaving you because your brother used to run Team Skull. He listens to you tell him about why Guzma took in all these kids, and he agrees that while Guzma's choices might not have been the best ones to make, he did it with good intentions for those he cared about, you included

You're not as hesitant to have Raihan meet Guzma after he takes all of this in stride. You invite your brother to Galar for a visit, excited to see him again and show him around, have him meet Raihan. Raihan is excited too, happy to meet your family, especially someone so important to you. He wants to make a good impression, even if he knows Guzma will be snarky at first

And Guzma sure is. He barks mean things at Raihan, since he's dating you, but Raihan just gives it right back. The two bicker, Guzma getting worked up while Raihan just smiles and towers over your brother, the one used to being taller. After some tense silence, Guzma tells you that you sure can pick 'em when it comes to partners. It's the closest thing to approval you're going to get, so you happily take it, excited to start hanging out again

The three of you have fun going around Galar and exploring all it has to offer. Guzma wants to hunt some bug types not native to Alola, and Raihan happily shows him where to find Joltiks to obsess over, since they're similar to his Spinaraks. In return, Guzma tells Raihan embarrassing stories about you as a kid. You mourn your reputation as Raihan laughs his ass off and tells Guzma some stories about you in return, but at least they're getting along

Sadly, the League does catch wind of you being related to Guzma, and throws a fit over the information. Raihan has to do a lot of damage control alongside Leon and some other gym leaders, including Nanu from Alola, who agrees that Guzma and Team Skull are not a threat and you pose no harm to anyone, nor does anyone associated with Team Skull, now that they disbanded. They're kids without the support they need, and Raihan will be damned if he lets them and you suffer because the bigwigs are too snobby to realize not everyone is born with a sivler spoon in their mouths

I wonder, since you’ve explained about Wolfstar!daughter’s relationships with her dads, Lily, and Regulus, what are your thoughts about her relationship with James? I can definitely picture James seeing her as the daughter he never had.

I think it takes her a little while to get used him when she’s first adopted. I’ve mentioned before that she was extremely shy and nervous at first and that contradicts James’s big loud extraverted personality. But the more he comes around the more he gets used to him. (And it helps that everytime he comes around he has Harry.)

But after the initial adjustment period, he quickly becomes one favorite people! She’s the one he calls when she knows she’ll probably get in trouble if she calls her dads.

Also! I think of James as a build-it man. He refuses to pay for something he thinks he can build. (Even though he can afford it.) he really likes hands on projects. That being said, wolfstar!daughter has received loads of handmade items. Like when she wanted a vanity, or a porch swing, or even the treehouse she and Harry shared.

Also James would DEFINITELY take her side if she’s having a silly argument against Harry. Everytime. (Definitely not because she’s bribing him with chocolate truffles!!)
