Here’s the Bible: labour and toll shalt thou eat thereot all thedays of thy life. To I horns and thistles shall it bring forth tothee, and thou shalt eat the herbs of the earth. 19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat breadtill thou return to the earth out of which thouwast taken: for dust thou art, and into dust thoushalt return.20And Adam called the name of his wife Eve:because she was the mother of all the living.21And the Lord God made for Adam and hiswife garments of skins, and clothed them.22And he said: Behold Adam is become asone of us, knowing good and evil: now thereforelest perhaps he put forth his hand and take alsoof the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.23And the Lord God sent him out of the par-adise of pleasure, to till the earth from which hewas taken.24And he cast out Adam: and placed beforethe paradise of pleasure Cherubims, and a flam-ing sword, turning every way, to keep the way ofthe tree of life. Chapter 4And Adam knew Eve his wife; who conceivedand brought forth Cain, saying: I have gotten aman through God.2And again she brought forth his brotherAbel. And Abel was a shepherd, and Cain ahusbandman.3And it came to pass after many days, thatCain offered, of the fruits of the earth, gifts tothe Lord.4Abel also offered of the firstlings of his flock, and of their fat: and the Lord had respect toAbel, and to his offerings. 5But to Cain and his offerings he had no re-spect: and Cain was exceeding angry, and hiscountenance fell. And the Lord said to him: Why art thouangry? and why is thy countenance fallen?7lf thou do well, shalt thou not receive? butif ill, shall not sin forthwith be present at thedoor? but the lust thereof shall be under thee, and thou shalt have dominion over it.8And Cain said to Abel his brother:
Let us goforth abroad. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel, and slewhim. And the Lord said to Cain: Where is thybrother Abel? And he answered:
I know not:am I my brother's keeper?10And he said to him: What hast thou done?
Book of Genesis7the voice of thy brother's blood crieth to me fromthe earth. 11 Now therefore cursed shalt thou be uponthe earth, which hath opened her mouth and re-cieved the blood of thy brother at thy hand. 12When thou shalt till it, it shall not yieldto thee its fruit: a fugitive and a vagabond shaltthou be upon the earth. 13And Cain said to the Lord: My iniquity isgreater than that I may deserve pardon. 14Behold thou dost cast me out this day fromthe face of the earth, and from thy face I shall behid, and I shall be a vagabond and a fugitive onthe earth: every one therefore that findeth me,shall kill me.15And the Lord said to him: No, it shallnot so be: but whosoever shall kill Cain, shallbe punished sevenfold. And the Lord set a markupon Cain, that whosoever found him should notkill him.16And Cain went out from the face of theLord, and dwelt as a fugitive on the earth at theeast side of Eden. 17 And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived, and brought forth Henoch: and he built a city, and called the name thereof by the name of hisson Henoch. 18And Henoch begot Irad, and Irad be-got Maviael, and Maviael begot Mathusael, and Mathusael begot Lamech, 19Who took two wives: the name of the onewas Ada, and the name of the other Sella.20And Ada brought forth Jabel: who was thefather of such as dwell in tents, and of herdsmen.21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he wasthe father of them that play upon the harp andthe organs.22Sella also brought forth Tubalcain, whowas a hammerer and artificer in every work ofbrass and iron. And the sister of Tubalcain wasNoema.23And Lamech said to his wives Ada andSella: Hear my voice, ye wives of Lamech, hear-ken to my speech: for I have slain a man to thewounding of myself, and a stripling to my ownbruising.24Sevenfold vengeance shall be taken forCain: but for Lamech seventy times sevenfold.25Adam also knew his wife again: and shebrought forth a son, and called his name Seth, saying: God hath given me another seed forAbel, whom Cain slew.26But to Seth also was born a son, whomhe called Enos: this man began to call upon thename of the Lord Chapter 5This is the book of the generation of Adam. Inthe day that God created man, he made him tothe likeness of God.He created them male and female; andblessed them: and called their name Adam, inthe day when they were created.3And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son to his own image and likeness, and called his name Seth.4And the days of Adam, after he begot Seth, were eight hundred years: and he begot sons anddaughters.5And all the time that Adam lived, came tonine hundred and thirty years, and he died. 6 Seth also lived a hundred and five years, andbegot Enos.7And Seth lived after he begot Enos, eighthundred and seven years, and begot sons anddaughters.

"The voice of thy brother's blood cries out against Me from the ground" (Gen. 4:10). R. Simeon ben Yohai said: This verse is all but intolerable to recite and impossible to explain. For it seems to regard Cain and Abel as two gladiators, wrestling in the king's presence [in an arena, where] if the king desires it, he may separate them; or if he does not desire to separate them, and one gladiator prevails over the other and is about to kill him, the other may cry out, "Who will intercede for me with the king?" [Therefore God said: Since I, the King, did not interfere between Cain and Abel] "The voice of thy brother's blood cries out against Me."

Second Born of the First Man - Abel - Hazbin Hotel
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. [9] And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? [10] And he said, What hast thou done?
And when Cain awoke, he was nowhere. He called for his father, his mother… He called for Cain. In time - though how long, he did not know - he would awaken before the pearly gates.

THE BIBLE THE BOOK OF GOD
Genesis 4
4 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13 And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
16 And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.

Scripture of the Day February 23, 2024
Significance of the Blood?
Genesis 4:10-11—(Cain had just killed his brother Abel and God asked him:) “What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's BLOOD crieth unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's BLOOD from thy hand;”
Genesis 9:5—And surely your BLOOD of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
Exodus 12:12-14—For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. And the BLOOD shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations.
Exodus 12:23—For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the BLOOD upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
Exodus 24:8—And Moses took the BLOOD, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the BLOOD OF THE COVENANT, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
Leviticus 17:10-11—And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of BLOOD; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth BLOOD, For the life of the flesh is in the BLOOD: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for IT IS THE BLOOD THAT MAKIETH ATONEMENT FOR THE SOUL.
Isaiah 26:21—For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her BLOOD, and shall no more cover her slain. (70 AD prophecy)
Ezekiel 16:6—And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own BLOOD, I said unto you when you were in your BLOOD, “LIVE!”; yea, I said unto you when you were in your BLOOD, “Live!” (Quote this verse over someone with a nosebleed and watch the flow of blood to cease.)
Matthew 23:35—”That upon you may come all the righteous BLOOD shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the BLOOD of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.” ~Jesus/Yhswh to the scribes and the Pharisees
Matthew 26:28—”For this is my BLOOD of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (~Jesus/Yhswh to His disciples at the Last Supper)

10x23 of spn is so important to me. i. spoilers below obviously!!
the cain and abel references go HARD. the title of the episode, ‘Brothers Keeper’, is a direct reference to Genesis 4:9, when God asks Cain what happened to Abel.
And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother's keeper?
Even the position Sam and Dean were in reminds me of the line just before, where it says Cain “rose up against Abel”.
Him losing the mark right after killing Death instead of Sam is basically saying that he is not Cain, and he chooses to fight the darkness (basically the embodiment of Sin) instead of killing his brother. haha. IM GOING INSANE.

Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 21st December 2023 By Dr. D.K Olukoya – Keys to Divine Health (iv).
Tumblr media
TOPIC: Keys to Divine Health (iv). Memory Verse: Proverbs 13-17 A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health. Motivational Quote: New Testament believers appropriate and enjoy divine health through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Prophetic word for today: I declare that you are more than a conqueror over sickness, death and hell, in the name of Jesus. Fire Scripture: Exodus 15:26-27 26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. 27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters. Praise & Worship BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Zephaniah 2 – 3; Revelation 1 – 2
MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 21ST DECEMBER 2023
Today, we shall round off our discourse on the keys to divine health. The fifth key is positive confession, especially of the word of God. In Luke 21:15, God promised to give His children the mouth and wisdom that the enemy cannot gainsay or resist. Confess what the word of God says concerning your good health and sound mind. Negative confession will attract infirmities to you while positive confessions will attract divine health to you. Beloved demonstrating God’s love is another key to divine health. Get rid of hatred, bitterness and unforgiveness; the Lord’s healing stream will flow into your life. Extend love to others and God will bless you in return. 1 John 3:14-15 says, “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” Also, holiness is an important key for getting divine health. Romans 6:1-2 says that we cannot continue in sin and expect that the grace of God should abound. Holiness and righteousness promote divine health. Be ye holy! More so, the Holy Communion has proved to be a veritable key for getting divine health. When you take it lawfully, you will have divine health and cross from death to life. The Holy Spirit also provides divine health to believers. He had sealed us to the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30). When the enemy comes to us like a flood, the Spirit of God will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). Finally, we can get divine health by fellowshipping with the saints in Zion. Hebrews 12:22-24 reveals that the church of Christ (Zion) is a place of innumerable company of angels where the blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel. Dearly beloved, divine health is your covenant right as a child of God. The Bible calls it the children’s bread. However, you need to position yourself correctly to enjoy. First, you must give your life to Jesus and then apply the keys you have learned so far. Divine health is yours, in Jesus’ name.

give out the blessing
"he that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his inner being shall flow rivers of living water." john 7:38
"some of us are shivering and wondering why the Holy Spirit does not fill us. we have plenty coming in, but we do not give it out. give out the blessing that you have, start larger plans for service and blessing, and you will soon find that the Holy Ghost is before you, and He will present you with blessings for service, and give you all that He can trust you to give away to others.
there is a beautiful fact in nature which has its spiritual parallels. there is no music so heavenly as an aeolian harp, and the aeolian harp is nothing but a set of musical chords arranged in harmony, and then left to be touched by the unseen fingers of the wandering winds. and as the breath of heaven floats over the chords, it is said that notes almost divine float out upon the air, as if a choir of angels were wandering around and touching the strings.
and so it is possible to keep our hearts so open to the touch of the Holy Spirit that He can play upon them at will, as we quietly wait in the pathway of His service. — from 'days of heaven upon earth'"
when the apostles received the baptism with the Holy Ghost they did not rent the upper room and stay there to hold holiness meetings, but went everywhere preaching the gospel. — will huff
"if i have eaten my morsel alone," the patriarch spoke with scorn; what would he think of the church were he shown heathendom - huge, forlorn,
godless, christless, with soul unfed, while the church’s ailment is fullness of bread, eating her morsel alone?
"freely ye have received, so give," He bade, who hath given us all. how shall the soul in us longer live deaf to their starving call,
for whom the blood of the Lord was shed, and His body broken to give them bread, if we eat our morsel alone!
— archbishop alexander
"where is abel thy brother? gen 4:9
public domain content taken from streams in the desert by mrs. charles cowman.
the world operates in "get all you can and can all you get." that should not be the way of the church. it was not the way of Christ. i have heard it said, "if you give to get you’re not really giving; you’re trading."
i remember once reading a portion of a poem. it was about complaining about always having to give and it went something like this:
what giving again?” i ask in dismay. must i keep giving and giving away? oh no, said the angel looking me through, just keep giving till the Master stops giving to you.
Jesus Christ gave His ALL!

heard any good ones lately
"a merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones." prov 17:22
i mean good ones that you wouldn't mind telling in front of your pastor.  things have been heavy around the world lately and here as well.  things are likely to get heavier still.  i know we must not bury our heads in the sand, but neither should we forget the One who holds tomorrow and all things in His hands; His very strong hands.
you might be reading these before you go out to worship the Lord or after.  the important thing is that we worship the Lord.  not just today, a sunday or a wednesday.  worship Him everyday in our thoughts, our words and our actions.  how else can one "pray without ceasing?" 1 thes 5:17
i just want to quickly relate a few "funnies" that might lighten everyone's load.  OK?  here we go.
------- the $100 and $1 two well-worn bills arrived at the federal reserve Bank to be retired – a $100 and a $1.  as they traveled down the conveyor belt, they struck up a conversation.  the hundred reminisced about the interesting life he had, traveling all over the country.  “i’ve been to the finest restaurants, broadway shows, las vegas, and amusement parks,” he said.  “i even went on a Caribbean cruise once.  where have you been?”  “oh,” said the one dollar bill, “i’ve been to a methodist church, an episcopal church, a baptist church, and a lutheran church.”  “what’s a church?” asked the hundred. ------- my dad is better than your dad three boys on the playground were bragging about their dads.  one said. “my dad scribbles a few words, calls it a song and they pay him $50.”  “oh, yeah.  my dad scribbles a few words, calls it a poem and they pay him $100.”  “that’s nothing,” said the third kid.  my dad scribbles a few words, calls it a sermon and it takes six people to collect all the money in the room!” ------- a four year old’s description of creation in the beginning, which was close to the start, there wasn’t anything except God, darkness and some gas.  the bible says, “the Lord, thy God, is one,” but i think He has to be much older than that.  anyway, God made the world and then He said, “give me some light,” and somebody gave it to Him.  He split an atom and made Eve.  adam and eve didn’t wear any clothes, but they weren’t embarrassed because God hadn’t invented mirrors, yet.  adam and eve sinned by eating one bad apple and they were driven out of the garden of eden.  i’m not sure what God drove them in because He hadn’t invented cars, either.  adam and eve’s son, cain, hated his brother as long as he was abel.  after a while, all of the first people died, except methuselah, who lived to be, like, a million years old. ------ hymns for christians over 65 years old - (people like me) give me the old timers religion precious Lord, take my hand, and help me up just a slower walk with Thee go tell it on the mountain, but speak up nobody knows the trouble i have seeing guide me, o thou, great Lord God, i’ve forgotten where i’ve parked the car count your many birthdays, count them one by one blessed insurance it is well with my soul, but my knees hurt ------- on that closing note i would like to add: it is well with my soul too.  how about yours?
