Kamusta! I'm known as Caru and this is a multimuse RP blog of mine, dedicated to some canon characters from Genshin Impact and other series that are mostly canon-divergent/AU and also my original characters with their own lore. In addition, this is a sideblog under @caruwu.

This blog will be selective on interactions. To sideblogs, kindly have it stated in your blogs. I may still RP with you even if I don’t follow back. This is for me to organize my dash. PERSONALS, DO NOT REBLOG FROM THIS BLOG.

ROLE-PLAYS. No godmodding or powerplaying. If your muse has some mind-reading abilities or the like, kindly tell me beforehand so that we can plot first. You may also hurt my muses but ask permission as well if it's going to be severe or will kill them.

SELECTIVITY. I won’t be role-playing with My Little Pony muses (regardless of whether they're canon or OCs) and those who role-play real-life people (not including those who use actors as faceclaims for fictional characters). If you’re a multimuse blog and happen to have muses of the aforementioned series, I may still interact with your other muses.

REPLIES. While I still do one-liners occasionally, I expect some effort on replies rather than just 1 or 2 liners if I make a reply in a paragraph or more. I will also try to reflect my post length to yours for long replies. Also, you may remind me of replies after at least a week but please don’t force me to do them.

SHIPPING. I may be fond of shipping a lot but never force a ship on me. If you want to ship with my muses but you’re unsure about it, you can send an IM or ask.

NSFW CONTENT. All smut RPs and other spicy stuff goes to the sinblog @sinnedmisfits and can only be done with adult muses (both muse AND mun should be 18+ of age) and should at least have chemistry first. Be reminded as well that forced smut RP is a big no-no. This and other NSFW stuff will be tagged accordingly.

BLOG CONTENT. Just a reminder that this blog is not spoiler-free and will try to tag them accordingly along with certain triggers which you are free to remind me of.

MEMES. I’m more lenient when it comes to reblogging ask memes so feel free to reblog RP-related memes from my blog without feeling obliged to send me an ask.

ANSWERING ASKS. While I also like receiving asks, I may be unable to answer them all. Nothing against those who sent those asks but this is more on my own convenience.

ANONS. Any anon asks that aims hatred either to me or someone else will not be tolerated. In addition, I won't be accepting smut RPs or any explicitly sexual stuff via anonymous asks.

DRAMAS AND CALLOUT POSTS. I won’t be interacting with those who make a lot of callout posts regardless of who they’re pertaining to.

PASSWORDS. More often, I won’t be able to send passwords if your rules page indicates so but I’ll still read and try to follow them. I won’t be asking you to send me a password either but it’s much appreciated (though not necessarily required) to like this post if you’ve read the rules above.

Howdy hey, everyone! Welcome to my blog! It will mostly follow a fun, funky narrative, yet various forms of horror, gore, and other unsettling themes may pop up here and there! Overall, however, the spookiest things that will happen for a good while are drawing inconsistencies and the occasional anatomy slip-up. There will be spoilers for a few of the main-series games, however, so please keep that in mind! Though overall, this blog isn't directly related to canon. [ The beginning ] [ Archive ] This series will follow the adventures and studies of Professor Mathias Hawthorne! He.. may not actually have a title as a professor as of yet, but he still uses it anyways. It helps with the confidence factor. Anyhow, he's really just a simple researcher who's dedicated his whole life's worth to shiny pokemon. Based in the Kalos region, studying how and why they exist, why certain methods work better, and all the other ins and outs. As of right now, however.. he's only acquired two. Other character interactions, anon/general asks, anything goes. All I'd say you have to keep in mind is that I can't get to absolutely every ask, and depending on what's being asked, the answers will have different qualities. - You are free to ask me, as a mun, things as well. Just know that I won't answer everything, if much at all! (Especially if it relates to any plot points ;3c) - NSFW and/or just plain weird asks will be ignored. Information Hub

Desperate to survive, and hellbent on vengeance, a mortally wounded Dr. William Birkin injects himself with the fruits of his dedicated-- nay obsessive labor. The G virus was flawed however, while healing his injuries as expected, it quickly began to mutate out of control as the virus began to take over both his body and mind... Survival was not something thought possible, but at great cost the impossible can be achieved...

8 years later, William works alongside Rebecca Chambers as a fellow researcher, seeking to unlock the secrets of the recently discovered uroboros virus coming in from Africa. While the higher ups aren’t particularly thrilled about having William remotely anywhere near a virology lab, let alone out of prison, they’re well aware he’s likely the only man who has any chance of helping them with a breakthrough.

This Au primarily focuses on William Birkin and the hypothetical thought ‘what if Birkin had somehow managed to survive the G virus?’. While set primarily between the 4th and 5th Resident Evil games, prior events both before and during the Raccoon City infection may be explored. Similarly, other characters and their relations, such as Hunk and Kevin Ryman, may also be explored.

Kennedy, William under #William Birkin, Hunk under #Hunk, etc. There may be small exceptions to this when dealing to specific groups of characters like the various USS squads in which case they’ll be tagged under something akin to #USS Alpha Team.

🔮 my opinion on;

character in general: Oh boi~ Ed is one of the most unique characters I've had the pleasure of getting to know. I enjoy the series he is from a whole lot - hell I just got the manga - and watched most of the animation available, aside from one of the movies. Edward Elric hits the comedy and badassery vibes splendidly. I also like how his personality isn't the stereotypical quiet "genius kid" - he is a whole explosive barrel of surprises with compelling character flaws. His color pallete is satisfying (because that plays a big role for me) and represents him very well. Ed is definitely up there among the chars I'd love to meet IRL, lol. He's a presence that inspires due respect, seeing as he had endured so much so early and even as a young teenager he's kicking ass left and right and is more capable than most adults - while still retaining flaws you would expect from a kid, helping to cast him in a more relatable light, even if it is hard to relate to the kid prodigy aspect itself. I love to see his growth throughout the series, as he makes his way through all the obstacles and trials life throws at him and his brother. ^^

how they play them: Kira plays Ed amazingly. For me, FMA is a fandom I follow on the side among other things, but I started chatting to the mun and followed, and started to read some of the stuff they write on the blog and I have to say? Honestly, when I think of Ed I think of yours. His speech patterns, (also, Ed is finally allowed to say the fuck word cuz it ain't monetized media lmao) his emotional complexity (researched so well btw), all the little tidbits that make sense in a canon perspective, like the explained workings of the automail, how it affects him and how he maintains it, the love of cooking much like the love of alchemy, gosh there's just so much, so much love poured into this muse, I know he's a huge part of your life and it shows. I know how it feels to have a fandom/character you are so passionate about, for me its obvs FFU and also God Eater but you're making me delve deeper into FMA again and appreciate it with this enhanced perspective now, which comes from hanging around your blog. As I said, your Ed now lives rent free in my head and that's what I see when I look at canon Ed now, lol. And that means YOU DID A DAMN GOOD JOB WOOOOO!

the mun: You're awesome, how tf do you write so much?? So many threads?? So many people! Ahh! Hahah, teach me. (jk on the teach part obvs - I'm just gushing about the amount of writing energy haha) Chatting to you is always fun, I love to see how excited you are about the fandom and your boi. I learned of you through Kumo and became interested in your main, which was a good choice to make and I get to enjoy writing scenarios from time to time and seeing this alchemy boi react. >:)) Also whenever Cloudy shows up and starts arguing with Windy I laugh out loud. I appreciate you throwing him at me sometimes, despite being involved in so. MUCH. STUFF. already like holy shit! XD I admire that. 1. What made you decide to roleplay this muse?

For Hasgard and Sisyphus it was pretty much the same reasons: I grew up watching Saint Seiya and as soon as The Lost Canvas came out, I felt compelled to roleplay with my two favorite characters. I started with Hasgard because I felt a deep conection with his reasons to live and fight. Sissy came after however I’ve always felt like we have the same problems regarding anxiety and our way to deal with guilt is similar (I also was very impulse when younger, just like him!). So for both of them I’d say my main reasons are that I relate to them a lot.

For Atsushi Nakajima I ended up having a very simplistic reason: I really like him! We’re not even close in terms of personality however I enjoy playing him a lot!

As for my OC, Arabella, I created her in the Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas reality in order to be a real part of that world (if that makes any sense to you!). I’ve always wanted to be a part of The Lost Canvas and creating a new character, with a background similiar to my life made this an adventure.

3. Are there other characters you’re interested in rping or wish to?

YES! I’d LOVE to roleplay as Tanjiro Kamado (from Demon Slayer a.k.a Kimetsu no Yaiba) and Erza Scarlet (from Fairy Tail), however I’ve never found anyone to roleplay with as them!

4. What made you decide on your URL name?

“Somniattis” is the greek word for “dream” and that makes a lot of sense to me once my dream as a child was to be a Gold Saint and/or to be part of the Saint Seiya universe!

10. How do you feel about the interpretation of your character vs the fandom?

Well, for the Saint Seiya ones, I feel they are pretty much accepted and respected in their fandom. despite me being a shitty writer lol

People seem to enjoy my way to play both Hasgard and Sisyphus, and I must say that makes me really happy because I do put a lot of effort into making them look like exactly the ones from the anime/manga series.

For Atsushi Nakajima, once I’m new to the fandom and haven’t interacted much, I’d say people are still insecure about my writing. and honestly I”d be too if I were them XD

11. What’s a thread you’d like to do in the near future?

It’s that one I’m already doing with you! The one where Sisyphus brings Regulus to the Sanctuary for the very first time.

And also the one I’m doing with @thkirajustice where Hasgard finally meets Asmita!

12. Do you have fun RPing?

Sure I do, a lot! And I confess that’s the main reason why I keep doing it, for the fun.

14. Would you get along with your muse?

Hasgard: yes, pretty much

Sisyphus: absolutely! we would date lmao

Atsushi: yes but I’d probably be a second Dazai in his life hehehe

Arabella: since she’s pretty much my “copy” adapted to a fantasy world, yes

19. What’s your opinion on blog themes? How do you feel about your own?

Never really pay much attetion to it honestly, but when I do I don’t really understand why people would use themes that are too intricate or complicated. I also really like my theme specially because it’s very simple and manageable.

20. What’s something that would make you unfollow a mutual?

That’s easy: if someone’s ever disrespectful towards me or a friend of mine, they get an unfollow.

21. Three big no-nos to do or say to your muse. (their ‘berserk button’)

Hasgard: 1) “the next generations are not my problem”, 2) “I don’t care about anyone, 3) to turn your back on him.

Sisyphus: 1) “it’s you fault, it’s ever been”, 2) insult his brother of nephew, 3) insult Athena.

Atsushi: 1) remember him about the orphanage he was kicked out of, 2) remember him of the director, who tortured him, 3) “you are useless”.

Arabella: 1) tell her magic is for fools, 2) ask her about the scars on her back, 3) ask her about dark magic.

22. Three interesting little tidbits or facts of your muse.

Hasgard: 1) he loves cooking, 2) he enjoys being quite and alone sometimes, 3) his favorite color is green because it reminds him of his element (which is earth).

Sisyphus: 1) he loves music, 2) his favorite foods are the spicy ones, 3) he’s afraid of heights despite having wings on his gold cloth

Atsuhi: 1) he’s a terrible cooker, 2) his hair is always messy because he’s too lazy to fix it, 3) he really likes desserts and candy.

Arabella: 1) she HATES spiders, 2) she’s afraid of trusting anyboy, 3) her eyes change from caramel to red when she’s scared/angry

How strictly do you follow canon?

As closely as possible, considering there’s not very much to work with in regards to his canon to begin with. There’s a lot of freedom in picking up any kind of minor canon character. I look mainly to expand on what little is present. I adore fleshing out even the smallest ideas so having something I can comfortably build on is great.

SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals.

Pica is loyal, beyond anything. Strong, well-built, and never wavering. Regardless of the situation, he is always on task, diligent to the last moment and perhaps longer. Devotion and collected functionality make a grand guardian. Always acts as a pillar; a collected foundation of a man centered around dedicated familial values. Being in contact with stone makes him nigh invincible, granting him not only the protective assimilation but the literal stature and appearance of a stone goliath given enough material. Strategic with respectable swordsmanship, constantly protective of what’s important. He’s nice on the eyes, quiet, and a good listener. There’s order and beauty laced within all that cataclysmic chaos just waiting to be found.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).

Distant, stoic, absolutely terrible with expression that isn’t hateful and violent. Pica is very strict, lacking a sense of humor. His voice is extremely disruptive. The smallest remarks set his short fuse alight and it burns on and on until there’s nothing left. That murderous intent settles for very few things, and getting him to open up is a long, grueling process. He’s self-conscious but in an overbearingly cocky way, in that pride often masks everything genuine. He thinks very highly of himself and looks down on other people constantly. He’s uncooperative, constantly wrapped up in solemn business, and heavily against indirect methods. Abrasiveness is a weapon and he uses it without remorse. Stubbornness and general unwillingness to speak with strangers make attempting to converse with him the equivalent of talking to a wall. Pica is impatience, wrath, and apathy tied together with coarse cobblestone.

What inspired you to rp your muse?

As odd as it sounds, I found certain parts of Pica relatable in very specific, personal ways. People never took me seriously when I was upset because I was so small ( sometimes they still don’t dskdsks- ). For awhile when I was younger my voice was really deep and hoarse due to adenoid issues. Speaking in general was hard, because breathing was hard. It made me sound very masculine, especially over any kind of voice-only system. Normally adenoids aren’t an issue at that point because they’re vestigial and tend to essentially be shrunk down to nothing. But something ( probably fighting off infections and never shrinking/bad allergies, nobody knows ) blew mine up and they were blocking 3/4ths of my airway for ages without anyone having any idea what was going on until it got bad enough to the point it was obvious something was wrong. I couldn’t have any stuffed animals in my room because it was legitimately dangerous and a lot of my non hypoallergenic stuff had plastic covers on it. Made me really sad. Eventually they were surgically removed, and it cleared up my breathing and in time my voice was relatively normal. Before then, nothing felt worse to me then than struggling to breathe trying to defend myself in tandem with all the emotional stress it brought on me.

I was always quiet and distant otherwise, and a lot of people thought I was just weird and unapproachable ( unless you wanted a laugh, anyway ). There were days before I made my small group of good friends I’d just spend sitting under the stairwell up against a wall eating lunch by myself. I’m probably one of the few people that listened to Pica talk for the first time and didn’t immediately burst into laughter. I didn’t completely click with him at that point, but watching that one little thing turn into a running gag constantly coming back to undermine everything else that was amazing about him really set my feelings in stone... pun completely intended. I’ve loved him ever since. That inspiration and adoration has only grown with time.

What keeps your inspiration going?

Quite a few things. Aside from the constant love pouring from my being, I love looking at highly detailed stonework. It’s beautiful. Scrolling through rolling mountain landscapes, listening to certain songs, daydreaming in between sentences. I never really lose inspiration for Pica. Something new hits me every day in the most mundane tasks. A lot of it does go unshared, but some of it is personal and other times I simply don’t have the energy or reason. Very well I could be brimming with inspiration for him all day and have nowhere really to put it without excess. Getting opportunities to do so really makes me smile, though. It’s amazing how much being invested in a character will keep your inspiration at an all time high even when you’re having a rough time. Sometimes all it takes is just an extra comment from someone else or an occurrence or some kind of image to put you right back on track. For me, seeing any kind of lovely stonework or abandoned, run down places really sets my inspiration for him in motion.

Some more personal questions for the mun.

Give your mutuals some insight about the way you are in some matters, which could lead them to get more comfortable with you or perhaps not.

Do you think you give your character justice? YES / NO ( I would hope so! )

Do you frequently write headcanons? YES / NO ( I’m always thinking of new ones! )

Do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO ( It’s been awhile, though... )

Do you think a lot about your muse during the day? YES!! / NO

Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO

Are you confident in your writing? YES / NO ( Generally speaking, I try to be! )

Are you a sensitive person? YES / NO

Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal?

Actual criticism, yes. I don’t mind it. At the same time, however, I’m really just here to have a good time ─ as is everybody else. Growing and developing my writing is always a bonus when I’ve the experience here in an environment I’m comfortable with, but critique isn’t exactly something I go hunting for. I’m here to write the characters I love and adore and honestly, sometimes, it’s better to have the freedom to do things as you wish without the worry of receiving it, no matter how well-intended it may be. It’s all chill times and good vibes doing what we enjoy most.

Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?

Absolutely! I love randomly being sent things that keep me thinking with any character. I’m always looking for little intricacies and tidbits to really bring them to life. Sometimes it takes a bit for me to think of something appropriate but I always appreciate the brain candy when it comes to new details! It goes without saying that I’ll happily accept anything that gives reason to my constant, aimless musings related to Pica.

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?

Yes and no? I always love hearing other ideas on why someone else’s headcanons differ from my own. For all I know it might be enough to change my mind or, at the very least, give me a different perspective on something I’ve never thought about before. I’m always curious about stuff when it relates to a character I love. As long as they’re not rude about it and we’ve talked to the point it’s not out of the blue, it’s okay. On the other hand, it doesn’t really matter if someone disagrees. We all have our own headcanons and it’s very easy to be respectful about them. Despite what has already been said, there’s a high chance I’m going to keep to my own headcanons as they are regardless, because I put a lot of thought and heart into them. Someone disagreeing with them at face value isn’t going to make me up and throw all that work in the trash just like that.

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?

That’s okay. There are plenty of different ways to interpret a character. People are allowed to like and dislike whatever portrayal they so choose, so long as they’re not bashing anyone outright. I would much prefer that be something that’s kept to oneself, however. It’s very easy to simply ignore something you don’t agree with, and it’s just as easy to be kind about things when expressing your own thoughts in comparison with theirs. Plus, there’s always making your own blog and writing whoever however you please! Someone out there is bound to enjoy whatever portrayal you prefer. ♥

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?

Not personal, certainly, unless it was somehow directed at me personally. It’s very understandable. There’s a lot of potential present for actual progressing development, but on the surface Pica is very dislike-able. It’s very clear his purpose was to act as a stepping stone for another major character’s development and there wasn’t much left beyond that. Of course it’s always a sad thing being hopelessly attached to a character like that but as an avid lover of what are often viewed as very minor, niche characters, it’s something I’m very much used to. Perhaps not intense hate in every case, per se, but underappreciated. It just so happens that Pica is... not exactly a good person, putting it kindly. But that’s just another reason I love him so much as a character.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?

Sure! Though chances are I’ve probably already noticed at that point and have been embarrassed about it/fixed it. I’ve probably made many over the years and also not realized it. Most of the time it’s something minor anyway, and a lot of people just naturally read it as it’s supposed to be read. So there’s no trouble!

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?

I’d certainly like to think so! I tend to be very patient and accommodating. I wholeheartedly stand beside the idea that RPing is meant to be fun and enjoyable and not something that causes more stress. People should take their time with things and set their own pace. Being comfortable is part of what makes RP the wonderful hobby that it is. Really that applies to any hobby, but there are many little things that can turn someone away from doing something they love at any given time. There’s nothing that would hurt me more than unintentionally making something someone enjoys a chore for them. I try my best to make sure everyone knows that I’m really just a chill little bun having a good time doting on characters I love. Pica might not be cordial, but I certainly try to be!

Hello Idols! We’re back in business here on the main and we hope that you’re excited! For those of you who aren’t privy to the OOC blog, we basically let everyone know that the scale of the site as it was before was just toooooo big for your little tired admin team. So, rather than risking complete burn out, we did a general scaling back and adjustment. We’ve become aware over the months that things are a bit dauntingly wordy and scattered, so we’ve just generally gone ahead and streamlined everything. Many groups existed without a huge amount of narrative purpose and tended to step on each other’s toes, and so on. And, of course, we’d been getting consistent questions and complaints about various aspects of solo artists, how careers worked, who could do what and when and why did this person do x and not this one. So we thought, if it’s this confusing to people, we should probably carefully examine the way we’ve been doing things and see what we can do to improve.

The result is a scaled back roster, taking us from near 100 spots to the mid 70s range, and given that we tend to average between 60 and 70 active muses in general, we think that’ll help keep things closer knit. The first place you should stop by at the moment is probably our new NARRATIVE page, which provides a comprehensive (and lengthy) rundown of the general progression of all groups since 2010!! Wowza! Of course, all of that information can be found in more specific detail on everyone’s companies, but this narrative page gives you a more comprehensive idea of how the whole puzzle fits together!

As far as specific features that have made changes, we’ll lay those out for you here:

In general, canons have made a big change. They’re no longer just fun tidbits (though any canon you previously incorporated that related to your personal background narrative can of course be kept provided it still makes sense narratively) but canons are now directly tied to the trajectory of muses. Particular things have become canon locked in the way that they were formerly locked to secondary skills. These are high fashion modeling, solo work, producing, lyric writing, and acting. This way it can be easily discernible which groups allow which sort of things, where the focus is for various groups, and what each member in a group is generally focused on, without having to read over four or five biographies and then check out the shop to make your best guess when creating your muse or planning in general. As a result, many really desirable things have been tied to canons- such as nation’s titles, of which there are now 9 available for reserve! You can check out further information on career paths HERE. (please note this page will only be up temporarily! This information will be transferred to the shop once that is done being updated)

We’ve also placed a much bigger importance on gbs, which stands for “group based solos” (think groups like Loona that have solo content for each member, but not as much as a full solo debut) and units to give more muses the opportunity to show off individual skills without it being inundated by solo acts. For information on how solos have been adjusted, you can check out THIS page.

The shop has made / is making a big change. A lot of things that were once more small scale purchases will now be free and openly incorporated however you like, especially for the purposes of various prompts. This includes things like single photoshoots and music video appearances (just be pleasantly vague about what exact video it was, and thread away, with a happy suspension of disbelief!), and single episode solo variety guesting (just be realistic and vague~). Some things will become incorporated in flash events (see below) such as viral moments. Some things will be canon locked such as acting (although things like webdramas are still readily available). Further information will be available when the shop is back up and running on or before June 16 KST. We’ll let you know as soon as we can, since we’ll be adjusting everyone’s purchases and such up until then.

Speaking of delays, the storylines will make a reappearance by that date as well, along with updated awards!

We’ve got a new system of various narrative development elements/prompts/tasks that will replace the current opportunity and schedule format. You can find all of that information on THIS page.

The rules have changed with the scaling back to restrict to 2 muses per mun. However, if you had three muses prior to this rule implementation (e.g. this moment) you’re fine to keep them! But since we cut down so many positions we thought it best to change that as well, at least for now!

As mentioned on the OOC blog, you all have 48 hours to confirm your current masterlist position or to send another reserve. We’ll hold acceptances for “continuing” members this weekend and next at the usual time, so if you can’t adjust your biography by Sunday, you have until the next Sunday to get it finished. At that point, we’ll reopen roles that haven’t submitted. We’ll also take reserves as usual for incoming members, so feel free to check us out.

A reiteration on points: if things have changed for your muse and you have to give up some claims, you’re welcome to refund yourself up to the point of 100 EXP points (because otherwise your admins would just end up giving themselves over 350 points a piece back and that seems super crazy). For further details on that you can check the OOC blog post, so that we don’t clog up the main.

As a final note, for some fun statistics on what is now available, check this out. Out of 79 positions there are: 3 stand alone solos, 21 group based solos, 10 canon based solos, 18 unit spots (some of which also have gbs spots), 16 acting spots, 15 spots for producing or lyrics, and 9 national titles!

So, feel free to send in some reserves and confirmations! We’ll gather them up over a few hours and then make a major update later tonight or tomorrow morning because we’re about to head off for the evening. So, don’t fret if it isn’t immediately reflected! As we said before, be sure to send it to us on the main THROUGH ASK FROM YOUR CHARACTER ACCOUNT so that it’s all readily available chronologically. Send it twice or three times if you’re worried it’ll get eaten! But that’s the easiest way for us to ensure we can be as fair as possible for things that might be up for open reserve! If you send it to us in IMs or personally there’s a chance we’ll miss it or not know exactly when it came up!!

born kang iseul, but had his name legally changed to kwon iseul for reasons i’ll explain a little further down! (pls forgive me and i slip up & call him kang now they’re so similar!!)

his dad was a gang lord around icheon which was kind of rare, but they worked more underground ? so most citizens knew he was involved in shady business but not exactly what, but those in the gang scene definitely know him !

his dad met his mom through a business deal, he was supposed to collect money the gang had loaned her family but found her v pretty !

his dad settled down & married his mom for a while, until his bad habits started resurfacing. they had 1 kid, jihun, but things didn’t really get bad until iseul was born ! his dad was angry they had another kid because though she was a family person, to him 1 kid was enough and he started becoming abusive to the kids & her ! things only got worse when they had yet another kid,

which is why the oldest jihun, chid/iseul’s brother was always so protective & tough - he’d been through it the longest & didn’t want his younger siblings to get hurt.

but not all things in his childhood were bad ! his mother was super loving to them all, and she was who supported his dream to be a writer after finding his journal with all his poems & stories in it ! which is why he really wants to be one now~

flashforward though, to right when his mother was pregnant with the youngest child and only daughter, jieun ! she didn’t want to tell him, but eventually he found out and got very angry. he flew into a rage at home & things got so bad that 14-year-old jihun had to step in, but when he did his dad was mid-punch & the impact was much harder than anticipated. jihun had to get sent to the hospital, but he died because of internal bleeding.

this shook the entire family. his dad fled & iseul hasn’t seen him since, but no one wantd to call the police because he’s well respected in the gang & the family would risk getting hurt. so his mom was forced to handle things on her own & when her daughter was born she named her jieun, similar to jihun, honoring the fact that he sacrificed his life to save his mom & baby sister’s.

this is when iseul developed ptsd, after witnessing his brother’s death & constant abuse of himself & his family by his dad.

but this is also when he got so invested in ridding seoul of their gangs & bad people. he hated how easily his father got away w/the crime & wanted to end it ! but he’s never wanted to turn out like his father, so instead of resorting to violence he used the power of his writing by exposing all their activities !

also, he’s changed his name legally to kwon for 2 reasons - his mother’s given name is kwon, and when she legally changed it back they all did bc they didn’t want to be related to such a bad figure. the 2nd is his stepdad’s last name is kwon & though he’s not legally adopted by him yet, he sees him as far more of a father figure !

anyways - time skip ! isuel’s now a sophomore at snu, majoring in communications, minoring in journalism, and working as a journalist ! he makes near no money, sigh.... but that’s alright ! he’s doing what he wants, and hopes things will look up !

sidenote he has VERY bad vision due to the hours spent staring at screens...so he wears glasses nearly 24/7 ! he hates the feeling of contacts & he’s so used to glasses !

but here’s the real drama !! he has an exposé blog, written in the stars, where he writes under the pen name pluto ! he’s very disliked by gangs & such because he tries to get info on them & take them down, & has gotten very close to getting caught as the one behind the blog many times !

originally he went to project coffee because it was the closest place & had a nice atmosphere, but after staying a while he thinks things are....fishy. he hopes to find out what’s going on behind the scenes, so gang muses beware !

he’s not telling anyone (unless by accident or he reeeally trusts you) that he writes written in the stars so !! for now you can find him at the cafe a lot of the time, peeking at everyone and trying to see what’s going on !

i think that’s all i’ll say for now, i want to leave some things to be discovered at all ! but yeeeah....that’s it ! heart heart.
