i have too many thoughts about this. as much as gale's motivation to reforge the crown is altruistic (as in, he wants to help mortals), i think this shows that his desire for godhood is also coming from a lot of bitterness. a sort of childish "see, mystra? i could always handle being better than you let me be." he looks back on their relationship now and interprets her as someone who has held him back unjustly. and now, he has an opportunity to prove to himself - and to her - exactly what he is capable of. for better or for worse.

Somehow these final episodes of season 8 just keep getting gayer

Wilson's roadtrip-sona is tailored to cut out any parts of his personality House finds annoying, amplify the parts House likes, and also he "can drive shift" when Wilson supposedly can't and craves massive amounts of meat 👀

And I'm only 15 minutes into the episode

There was almost certainly no truth to this whatsoever, but Lucy was too tired to argue, and anyway, she and Kipps really had nothing left to say at this point.

And—God help her—it was comforting to have Lockwood where she could keep an eye on him, even with the night's danger now past.
