something i think is fun is that poor boy IS a kinda disrespectful kid. “Oissu” is like saying “yo” and is considered rude to use as a greeting for people older than you, and assuming characters are called by what He Personally Calls them by means he doesn’t use honorifics for most adults, he mostly uses them for the elderly or kids is own age (ms thick glasses and miss zombie mika are 15, only a year older than him, and he calls love interest “ma’am” in one or two interactions). and when watching goro’s(love interest’s father) movie you have the options of having him tell him it was “boring” or “very boring”. you don’t have the option to spare his feelings, but you do with mika, he can tell herthat her tea was bad, okay, or that it was delicious, despite it actively hurting him to drink every time.

marshall has a single item from his. well. his youth i suppose because it's not really his childhood. but it's a letter his brother wrote him some years after the war ended and he's kept it with him all this time. it's the only item he's got left because he never went home after the war ended to pick up his stuff :( if he were to lose the letter he would lose his mind entirely. it's the only thing he's got left of his entire family

marshall is pretty neutral when it comes to romance. he's not easily flustered or actively !!!!! because of things people do for him but he Does appreciate it a lot, it just doesn't physically affect him all that much. the closest he would get to it is someone making time to be there with him, even if it's just sitting with him for hours in complete silence when he's having a bad day. if someone is willing to do THAT for him. well. it gets to him a little bit ok. doesn't mean anything surely
