So it a Max x reader smau where the reader is a mega pop star. Like Taylor Swift big and all eyes are on her. She gets invited to an F1 race by Redbull and joins their after party and gets to meet Max. Unfortunately Max is still dating K*lly. Reader is completely enamored by Max and writes break up with your girlfriend, I’m bored literally released it the next week. Everyone is losing their fucking mind trying to figure out who it is. 6. What’s the worst thing about the fandom? I love how there's even the smallest sliver of opportunity for me to salt with this meme, and I latch onto it with both hands, supergluing myself to said chance. Any way, you asked, so here I go with the 'worst thing': the very high level of M/M fetishizing done not by Hoyo, but by its own audience; and not once, not twice, but with pretty much every single release of a male character (and hold my hand when two of them are released simultaneously). Perhaps I'm an odd one out here, but when the first reactions to male characters consist of 'omg I'm drooling, he's so hot' or immediate considerations of which other male character they'd like to see bone him, I can't help but lose a little bit of respect. And yes, I am referring to instances similar to Dr. Veritas Ratio in the bathtub, and Aventurine in his morning artwork.

And I have to draw this back to the female character sexualization thing for a second, because while yes, female characters are also sexualized, it is in a vastly different way and I'll be really honest, those tags are not half as full or bad as the M/M ones (and thankfully so at this point), nor do I have to read about how badly people are hungry to see x pound y into a mattress or wall with whatever additions. I just don't see it, and I've tried to find it for the hell of it to see whether I'm wrong, and so far? Outside of the quite graphically heavy NSFW AI-generated things that are often relegated to equally as AI-infested art databases: nothing's proved to me that I am, indeed, really wrong on this. On top of that, I can genuinely say that having written exclusively female muses within this fandom (and having exclusively written male muses in previous fandoms for years), I have not needed to build sky-high walls around them to keep myself far away from ship and subsequent NSFW thread-fishing. And honestly? I'm glad for it. I'm glad not to see tags filled with sexualizations, and I'm really glad to not have to always see rather uh, brutal and/or intense graphic drawings on X of what people want these characters to do to each other. Honestly, I'm kinda glad I don't have to see that level of hand-drawn thirsting when I go into the Kafka tag. I don't want to condemn artists for making art, but I will sometimes go 'why is this what you decide to draw within 48 hours of two male characters being released'? You know? I want to go more into this, but I may just... reblog a little salt meme for that instead. Let's not dump everything in the answer to an ask that's supposed to be innocent!

hello! it’s that time again i try to sell myself as a potential writing partner. i have written these in the past and been successful in occasionally finding roleplay partners who are interested in the same sorts of things as me. so i am looking for people who want to world build with me. i really like discussing plots, headcanons, and anything that can make me understand your muse better! i love sharing memes, drabbles, not roleplaying linearly and tossing around multiple threads! i don't need many people to write with but i really prefer to have a handful of people who i know well, am invested in their muses/feel super comfortable with my knowledge of their muses & pingpong my annoying ideas at them easily.

EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS? I started at about ten years old, but my time roleplaying has been sporadic to say the least. I haven't been on the rpc long term since 2018. That being said, I've been writing Vigor since January 2016 x

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT? Angst, shortly followed by fluff. Gotta make it hurt to really make the cute shit count. As for smut, I write it when the mood strikes, and because I find those intimate moments very revealing about a muse and their partner's dynamic. However, I only find the foreplay particularly fun and need to just fade-to-black more. Writing smut is a fun challenge, but not my favourite by far.

PLOTS OR MEMES Memes as icebreakers to discover chemistry and dynamic, or inspired by plotting. Having a plot makes writing so much easier. While I try to balance out my focus between plotted and non-plotted, I will often write the plotted stuff first to get through drafts faster, helping me focus even when muse runs low !!

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES? I like to write at least a paragraph. I like the idea of banter, but need to add actions and reactions, otherwise it feels off. Overall, reply length just depends on the thread!

TIME TO WRITE? I'm a shift worker who works Tuesday-Saturday. I'm most active on Mondays or during the week when I have a night shift. My activity fluctuates depending on my muse, but also because I have two very needy cats, and a partner who I love dearly ♡ Also, I am not writing at work, unlike some of you lucky bastards 😭

Sometimes, Haru has a bit of a cheeky streak. It was very rare whenever she could see Gokudera looking flustered, much less blush—but that’s what made it all the more fun in trying to get him to blush. It was a game of a cheeky hamster trying to see just how many sunflower seeds she could fit into her cheek pouch before she regrets her life choices.

In this case, she was poking and prodding Gokudera, teasing him little by little, trying to goad a reaction out of him. Admittedly, he was being very patient with her and maybe that’s what made her bolder than usual. As they say, you give someone an inch and they’ll run a mile.

If you were to ask her, it’s not her fault that it’s just addicting trying to get a reaction out of him. (She truly understands why Lambo goes out of his way to get under Gokudera’s skin sometimes)

A tiny squeak of surprise when Haru feels the wall press up against her back. She was overtly conscious of the fact that she was caged between Gokudera’s arms, effectively keeping her trapped between him and the wall.

She timidly locks her eyes with his green ones, just about to say something, but she’s silenced when she feels a hand underneath her chin, directing her head to face him properly. Her breath hitches in anticipation, unable to get a single word out because she soon felt a pair of lips pressed against her own.

There is a small curl on the corners of her lips before she becomes an active participant in the kiss as well. Arms wrap around his neck to deepen the kiss.

She has won the game called: ‘Get Hayato to kiss me without me giving him the sign by tugging on his sleeve.’ The rules were simple: Get a kiss. The losing conditions? Nothing, she was going to get a kiss one way or another, it was only a matter of when and how long it’ll take.

✿ RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS:  I’ve been waiting for the pet peeve word to come up, because it’s not a deal breaker or something I super judge, but just a little peeve? yes: too many memes that put the burden of writing/creativity on the sender (make up your own question, send a nightmare, send a reaction to x, etc) like ‘send a kiss’ things are fine because ship fuel usually has extra reserves, poking for headcanons/meta/ships sometimes is fine bc you just want to open it up to hear what people think. but for the most part you’re the one posting the meme, you’re the one with the drive, you’re the one asking for interaction. Make it easy. Like, I want to interact and indulge, but If I have to do more than send a symbol or copy/paste a phrase when I’m already working on other drafts or tired and lurking, that just seems unfair. Especially if there’s a bunch like that in a row or every day.

Dealbreakers are too much vagueblogging, constant negativity that vastly overtakes regular interactions, not respecting my headcanons/boundaries.

✿ PLOTS OR MEMES:    both. usually the best comes from a meme that kicks off some plotting. I don’t always have the brainspace for big plots these days, but some context and tentative direction for the thread is always good.

✿ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES:  I’ve done both. One-liners are rare and usually silly bouncing with muses already developed together. I can’t do full rps that way. I can get up to 1000-2000 words in replies, but lately just been loving the ~300-500 word medium length.

✿ BEST TIME TO WRITE: When I have the house to myself, which is usually only a few days a week and about to get less once I start work again lmao. In an ideal world, I would wake up, watch/listen/read some stuff/ catch up on the dash for inspo then churn some stuff out. Maybe take a break then repeat the process. Rare are the days responsibilities don’t break that up somehow. Such is life. I usually have more writing energy when other people are around on the dash or discord. Keeps the juices flowing and feels less like screaming into the void. Gotta agree with Shrimpy that sometimes the opposite extreme of everyone being quiet the whole time can help focus, though (if I have enough mojo to start in the first place). 

✿ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): I think we all fit our perceptions, values, pieces of ourselves in our muses somehow. That said, I am not very much like qrow except for some of those shared values (dislike of mainstream and propriety, caring about people, depth of emotion/sentimentality, some empathy) and maybe some trauma responses lmao. I’m not a 40 year old unlucky alcoholic fighter uncle man who travels the world and works with secret clubs. Although, we Qrow muns seem to agree some extra Misfortune slips into our lives since taking on this muse. “In an ideal world, my dear Elena would never have to lift a knife to stab another with to begin with.” In that case, she would never stab anyone for there was never a need to. “If the situation called for it, I do believe that she would take matters into her own hands.” He was very proud of her strong will, and if the times were desperate, he could see her stabbing someone in retaliation. Perhaps even as a warning if the famiglia were being threatened. 

“Of course, I have no qualms over stabbing anyone if it was necessary.”

Silas would be surprised. Not by the presence of a threat, but Pierce's act of protection. He knows they aren't perfectly buddy-buddy, and their philosophies clash often. So such an act remains unexpected.

But shock would quickly melt into a comrade level of thinking and he'd join the fray to have Pierce's back.

Eve would be briefly surprised, and then thankful for Dennis' warning. It would allow her to be cued in on the impending breach of personal space. At the last second, she'd turn and face Vince with her hands on her hips and ears pinned back. "I know children a third your age that know better than to touch or grab someone without their consent. Buzz off before I give you something to cry about."

She hadn’t planned to start trouble. It’d just been a bad day, one that had her feeling extra sensitive and just all around overwhelmed.
