Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2000, 1976. The Alfetta GT was introduced in 1974 with  the same DOHC 1.8 litre engine as the Alfetta saloon. In the 1976 the Giorgetto Giugiaro designed coupé was upgraded to the 1,962 cc engine and gained a “V” to make it the Gran Turismo Veloce. The cutaway clearly shows the rear mounted transaxle gearbox, designed to provide the car with a more even weight distribution (51% front/49% rear)

昔のアルファに付いている四つ葉のクローバーが可愛いので撮影。

１９２０年代、シチリア島・タルガ・フローリオでの厳しい山岳レースで初優勝を飾ったアルファロメオのボディに描かれていたのは可愛らしいクアドリフォリオ ヴェルデ（四つ葉のクローバー）でした。

ヒトラー統治下のニュルブリンクでおこなわれたドイツグランプリでもメルセデスベンツ「W２５」との接戦の末、アルファロメオ「Ｐ３」が優勝。

以来、勝利の象徴としてアルファの車に描かれることになります。

ちなみに、この時代のアルファロメオ・レース部門の責任者はなんと、後にフェラーリ社を立ち上げるエンツォ・フェラーリが担当していました。
