What is a ghost? A tragedy condemned to repeat itself time and again? A moment of pain, perhaps. Something dead which still seems to be alive. An emotion suspended in time.
— Guillermo del Toro, The Devil’s Backbone.
It couldn’t have been easy. So tell me, why? Why go through this elaborate plot just to burn me to the ground? Burn you to the ground?

We’re talking about scorched earth. We would have to hurt him. Hurt him bad.
At the end of it might never be able to practice law again. He doesn’t deserve that.
Kim doing this…it’s not you.
You would not be okay with it.
Not in the cold light of day

I swear Macallan whiskey is showing up in every netflix show to the point where it's starting to annoy me. Howard and Chuck drank Bushmills in the 4x06 flashback!!

i played doki doki literature club for the first time recently and first of all what the FUCK is that game. the characters are so cute and endearing yet the horror is deeply lodged in my brain.
but more importantly. i just mentally compared and contrasted mc gently opening sayori’s door with the candle flicker in better call saul 6x07 plan and execution.
a sudden genre change so abrupt and chilling it makes your stomach drop through the crust of the earth… ohhhh i eat it up like candy. easily a favorite trope. and they are two of the most incredible examples i’ve ever seen and i’m in one of those moods where i just love fiction and good writing and meticulously executed visual punches so much. big storytelling hours in this bitch.

It's a lie. You lie. I lie.

"Right. Full disclosure."
"And it works both ways."
"Works both ways."

I saw debate about how BCS can't compare now to BB because these episodes haven't matched Ozymandias, Granite State, and Felina, but I was thinking the closest three run of episodes is Plan and Execution, Point and Shoot, and Fun and Games, especially since you mentioned 6x09 was like the end of the main portion of BCS. what do you think?
they're not comparable imho because those last episodes of brba are all rising action and heart-stopping climax, the construction of the stories is very different. of course the black and white epilogue isn't going to match the rush of that buildup and ending. you're probably right in saying it's more like 6x07-6x09, but even then the way they unfold the narratives is distinct. which is a good thing! they're not the same shows with the same goals, they never have been, even though they exist in the same universe and are woven so beautifully together.
(to this day, there are still people who argue that Crawl Space -> End Times -> Face Off is the best run of brba, and there's no wrong answer there).
my personal favorite run of three episodes in bcs is actually always going to be Bagman -> Bad Choice Road -> Something Unforgivable, that was such an incredible experience, the use of every plot thread, every character, but i maintain that the pinnacle and defining episode of the show is Chicanery. it's just so brilliant.
