PLEASE DON’T READ IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE NEW EPISODE YET! (I mean unless you really want to I guess, then go ahead, but you have been warned!)

Not my heart rate being over 100 while watching 7x03! I need a few minutes to decompress this episode was too much for me!

The moment Buck and Eddie found Bobby and they both smiled at him I screamed and kicked my feet (I think that every time I see Eddie smile I fall in love with how adorable he looks even more🤭). I also screamed and kicked my feet when Bobby and Athena reunited because I really love them and I was so relieved that Bobby was ok!

Also the moment where Tommy opens the helicopter door to show Hen that Buck, Eddie and Chimney are already there… that was pretty funny!

I’ve gotta say that I’m happy that the cruise ship arc. I really don’t think I could handle another episode of it with how stressful it was to watch. Like I knew realistically that they’d be ok, but it certainly didn’t make it less stressful to watch…🫠

I can’t quite find a gif that visualizes how I was feeling while watching this episode so I’ll just try to explain…

Most of the time I was holding/squishing my face and whisper yelling “Oh my god! No no no no! Why!? Bobby, BOBBY I SWEAR TO GOD! You better get out of there and not freaking hurt yourself!” I also said “Oh my gosh I CAN’T!” a lot.

I was also wondering if they were gonna find the little boy, I was happy when they did.

Anyway I digress, I did enjoy the episode despite the stress and elevated heart rate it caused me, and I’m happy that we’re returning to a hopefully less high stress episode next week! And I can’t freaking wait to see why the episode is called “Buck, Bothered and Bewildered”!

guys this episode is so fantastic let me jot down my thoughts

- yesssss I love when the episode starts with a separate family/ emergency that you know will come full circle yESSSS

- Bobby’s rope rescue was hot I cheered

- Bobby and Athena referencing Buck without him present!!! This means so much to me I can’t even articulate it rn

- Hen/ Maddie new fave duo!!!

- I can’t remember what Chim said on the phone with Maddie about Hen but it made me LOL

- Buck seems so… Buck this season. More than last season at least? Like just. Being nosy. Being involved. Being a lil silly and saying dumb things. It’s just. Lighter. Also don’t have enough words to articulate it all.

- this ship wreck really has me so gripped good fucking god am I glued to my seat

- but the rest of the firefam really lighten it up in between, the whole chopper convo, Chim & Hen arguing in the most loving way LMAO Eddie was NOT having it he said ‘can u stop agreeing with each other that you’re both great’ 🤨 weirdos like Eddie pls have u seen you and Buck??? let them be

- ngl kind of over Norman and Lola’s storyline lol I’ve had enough I don’t care that she cheated I don’t care he’s still upset Julian needs to fuck off THE SHIP IS SINKING SHUT UP AND GO PRIORITIES PEOPLE

- Buck/ Chim/ Eddie’s faces when they realized the ship was capsized (sidenote where did all the lifeboats disappear to like did the helicopter not see a bunch of croutons floating in the sea)

- Buck and Eddie opening the door for Bobby and the kid I ALMOST CRIED I DID I DID CRY BOBBY’S FACE THEY WERE HIS LITERAL ANGELS IN THAT MOMENT I CAN’T EVEN IMAGINE HIS SHOCK AND AWE AND GRATITUDE THATS HIS TEAM THATS HIS FAMILY 😭😭😭😭

- ending felt a little rushed but what can u do and also I’d sit through another 20 years of 9-1-1 content so who am I to say really

- every second post rescue was incredible and also not enough but why did Buck have a weird extended moment with Tommy

I am very much not ready for 7x03… I’m not ready to see Eddie reliving his trauma again being in the back of a helicopter. From the half second clip we get of him in the episode promo you can already tell that the man ain’t ok! I just want to give him a hug, want to give all of them a hug actually!
