If you're like me and can't sleep until you know exactly which plants Crowley owns, then...this is your lucky day!

I did a little research and these are the results so far. Feel free to correct me or add anything I missed.

in short: these are all more or less typical houseplants, as one probably would find in any common garden center. Nothing extraordinary here.

Let's start with the plants in Crowleys flat:

There are at least three big pots (two at the window, one at the door) with the same plants

1 - some kind of Musa (banana plant)

2 - Strelitzia reginae (bird-of-paradise flower 👀)

3 - this poor, scared to death fellow is a Alocasia zebrina (zebra plant) Anthurium andraeanum (Flamingo flower)

Needless to say, that a mostly dark flat or a narrow car interior aren't the best places for such plants. It probably would take a miracle for them to survive...

Anthurium andraeanum ‘red’: Many new leaves revealing themselves this week! It’s been a couple weeks since these plants received their first fertilization of the spring. I’m trying homemade fertilizers this year in order to save money and repurpose some food waste. So far it seems to be going well. The new leaves pictured are from three of my Laceleaf plants. Others have sprouted new leaves over the last couple weeks, but this is the most I’ve had at one time:)

Still waiting for a spathe. The weather has been cloudy for about 10 days straight and seems like that will double before we get a sunny day again. But, it’s still early in the season so there is still hope!

A origem dos Antúrios é a América Central e do Sul e pertencem a família das Aráceas e o seu nome científico é Anthurium Andraeanum. Reúne cerca de 600 espécies, todas originárias da América Tropical - o antúrio é uma das espécies mais famosas da família. Podem apresentar cores que vão do mais puro branco até ao vermelho intenso, incluindo vários tons de rosa, salmão, verde e até castanho. Mas os antúrios não impressionam apenas pela beleza da inflorescência. As suas folhas em formato de coração (codiformes), que variam de tamanho dependendo da espécie, são extremamente exóticas. Antúrio é uma planta bastante utilizada no paisagismo. É de meia sombra e prospera nos cantos menos iluminados do jardim. Também é bastante utilizada como vegetação interna, plantada em vasos.

Os Antúrios são considerados uma das flores de maior valor unitário No seu habitat natural são plantas epífitas, ou seja, crescem sobre outras plantas, principalmente árvores. Embora os antúrios ou plantas-flamingo que agora temos nas nossas casas, estejam perfeitamente adaptados a viver em vasos, ainda possuem um sistema radicular curto como os seus parentes epífitos, pelo que os vasos não precisam de ser muito grandes. Os antúrios são uma planta adequada para cultivo em vasos, que podem ser mantidos em locais sem luz solar direta, desde que haja uma boa iluminação natural, incluindo o interior de casas e apartamentos. Também podem ser cultivados em locais sombreados por árvores e arbustos nos jardins.

Os Anthurium Andraeanum não podem ficar no sol directo Como toda planta tropical, necessita de temperaturas acima de 15ºC e meia-luz (não pode ficar no Sol direto). Deixar a terra do vaso sempre húmida e arejada, regando de 2 a 3 vezes por semana. O ideal é um solo bem drenado, leve, fértil, rico em matéria orgânica e com pH entre 5,5 e 6,5. Transplantando, conforme o tamanho, os antúrios podem crescer até a altura de 90 cm. Como cultivar e cuidar Esta é uma planta de fácil cultivo, rústica e de baixa manutenção, sendo bem resistente e apresentando ótimos resultados com um mínimo de cuidado. Exigente quanto à humidade, deve ser plantada sempre à meia-sombra, sem sol direto.
