The Ubers match was the first time I read a match week by week (or started reading a manga weekly in general) but about two thirds in I got kinda... bored? of it. I'm gonna have to reread the entire match in one or two sittings when I find the time because I think it'll be better like that. But I still liked the match! Gonna miss Lorenzo and Barou a lot 💔

Also, in the last Ao Ashi chapter a new match started as well so I wonder how I'll feel about reading that weekly. I've been waiting for this match to start for weeks so I'm excited to see what'll happen :']

I know barely anything about football/soccer, I don't really like playing it either, and I've only watched a couple of European championships matches. That being said, I am absolutely in LOVE with the Aoashi anime.

The sport I do semi-professionally is completely different from football, and yet I can very, very well relate to Aoi as someone who got into the pro part late, having way less experience than everyone else. Everything about this series feels so real and relatable to me, every character feels extremely human, and even though I doubt I will ever start playing football because of this show(Like I started playing volleyball as my tertiary sport because of Haikyuu lol) I know that it might just rival Haikyuu, another favourite of mine, in my heart.

Aoashi Spring/Summer 2022 - 24 Epsiodes I can see why they were confident enough to release this the same year as BlueLock. They’re also both totally different kinds of sports anime. While Bluelock is more of a sports anime with a trope, this one is more about realistic progress. This series has such solid animations and more importantly a solid story. The usual hollywood idea of a small town kid making it big isn't really seen in a lot of Japanese media and I think it fits perfectly into this genre. Right from the get-go I’ve been looking forward to watching the new episode every week and it never let me down. I was thoroughly invested in the characters developments and overall just so satisfied with every aspect of this series. 9/10 - Great

Sooo right, I started Ao Ashi (anime) and now I'm trying to predict who could be my favorite characters by the end of the anime. (Sometimes I can tell jus based off the character's design)

So far it's Fukuda and Otomo in the lead.

My predictions are the blond guy and Yuma to add to that list though.
