Don't know why it only just occurred to me to see if Lime was publicly traded, but having big, popular celebs using their product would really make sense for hyping up the brand to get them highest possible valuation when they go public.

Would this serve as an adequate substitute to the experience? He almost smiles at the thought.

He would have, if he was not at the verge of a new emotion.

Frustration. Low and boiling at his core. He cannot feel him. Cannot sense a thing through the amateur binding circle that was apparently adequate enough to bind a creature of the Lord's sand.

He wishes that, at the very least, the Corinthian wouldn't have worn his shades. He wishes to see. He wishes to look into him and know. The urge is compulsive, the need engineered into him.

The frustration boils and settles in his gut in hot coils. He does not show it. Expression relaxed, he tilts his chin up, he will not have him remember him begging, nor asking for mercy, this is not the manner of creature The Corinthian wishes him to be, and if this is the last time they see each other before The Corinthian leaves, he will—

The Corinthian steps onto the circle. A shudder passes through his body, it takes some visible effort even though nothing is restricting his movement. Nothing physical anyways. And then he reaches a hand, the free one, the one that is not holding the blood dripping blade.

"Are you going to sit there all day?" he asks, a flick of his tongue at the corner of his lip is the only indication that this situation means something to him. The only visible one, that is.

The moment the circle breaks, he can feel again.

And oh. Oh the Corinthian actually cares.

His lips twists into a smile.

I have 5 doctors appointments scheduled in the next month. I plan to collect more through referrals. I have never felt so powerful in my life. I'm crossing like a dozen visits off my to-do list that have been there for nearly 3 years. The dopamine rush is truly marvelous. I have Completed Tasks. So many tasks. This kind of power is dizzying. Doctors just fucking on demand. There's a functional app. My medicine is refilled in a day. I can't believe people just live like this. The luxury. The decadence. Jackie Kennedy who? I'm the HBIC now, and I'm receiving MEDICAL CARE. Having good medical insurance is Legitimately a Euphoric Experience.
