Heyya, it's an "oops was I supposed to be saving money and not spending it all the time lmao??" haul! We went to Cutie (Daiso affiliate, less expensive than the new Daiso we have here), Bookmans, and Goodwill, and boy did I get stuff. (Readmore for length lol)

At Cutie, I couldn't resist the keychains and got a trans rabbit and a bjd slug, and then a cute Moomin bag (there were a whole bunch and I wanted all of them 🥺), a Detective Conan toothbrush (it has Ran, Amuro, and Conan, literally how could I resist?? Also it was the only DC thing there lol), a notebook for recording which books I've been reading, a steel cup because I love steel cups, and some peach Puchao with Demon Slayer washi tape. Still not sure what washi tape is, but I like it. I also got two genshin keychains for my sister since she likes it :p

Bookmans was wild. There was so. much. manga! We were just kinda digging in the stacks, seeing a lot of stuff we would have gotten if it was cheaper, and my sister found Ghost Hunt! This is probably my favorite manga series of all time? I love it so much, I can't. It was pricey, but I've literally never seen it around here, so even though it's just volume 2, I'm not arguing! We also got some more manga (Yu Yu Hakusho and Wolf's Rain) and some World of Darkness books ✌️

I also found a yellow Moehog stuffed animal and a bag of Monster Rancher dolls! I was obsessed with this show and these toys as a kid so I was uhhhhh stoked. I have most of these already, but not all! Now I have quite a few! Again, I've never seen them anywhere else, so I was not very cool about it in the store lmao. Also Boss from Hamtaro was there too, no argument from me :3

And finally from things I bought: a bag from Goodwill. Apparently Obey Me is the name of the game/anime? I don't know it, but I needed it. The bag is about two feet long and it's just amazing to me. The other side says Moe! Ninja Girls RPG but I didn't take a photo. This is a weird bag, sure, but it's big enough to hold an MSD bjd box, so that'll make travelling easier hopefully. And yes the cashier was very weirded out lol.

Now things I didn't buy. First up, I was trying to show off this neon Scooby Doo, but my phone was not prepared. I mean, it was eye-scorching. It reminded me of the kinds of dolls we got from fairs when we were kids :3

And then this jacket that was, again, a little baffling. It was (p?)leather with patches made of, like, embossed money? It was kind of awesome, honestly, but it was also hella pricey.

It sure was a busy and expensive day, but honestly? Pretty fucking cool. Now to keep looking for other Ghost Hunt volumes and maybe go back for some of the Breyers I passed on....

Everything I Can List About My Friend I Accidentally Fell In Love With

fUseless gay time. Wooowee. 

She’s not very aware of things, trends, etc. On Snap, I have my name set as my deadname (:smirk_cat:) with “ig” at the end because u know,, fuck gender. She ended up messaging me, telling me about how she had just learned what “ig” meant, and used it in a sentence. She watches lot’s of behind the scenes movie filming things, especially of Harry Potter and Pirates of The Caribbean. She almost exclusively listens to Nickelback, ACDC, but does enjoy a bit of Mother Mother and MSI. To go to sleep, she ends up turning on the radio, it’s usually pretty loud though. She keeps her room completely dark too. A year or two ago, she started using an app on her I-Pad, which makes ocean sounds and other ambient noise. She loves taking pictures of lightning, and shows off her collection of photos to me every time she’s able to get a new one. She has a guitar in her room too, which she knows generally how to play, but doesn’t do it often. She has a dresser full of Christmas stuff. It’s her favorite holiday, and she starts setting things up right as Thanksgiving ends. Most notably are her snow globes, which have lights and small fans inside of them to keep the glitter moving. She also has three Christmas trees, all decorated with lights and ornaments. One of my favorites out of her Christmas collection is an elf hat, that has a small piece of plastic in the back to adjust the size, kind of like something you’d see on a baseball hat. It has a small button in the front. When you press the button, the hat moves left to right, playing Jingle Bells. The small lights that wrap around it start to flash as well. Almost every time we have a hat day at school, she wears that hat. Her bedframe has a small shelf behind it. It’s got lot’s of books on it, Harry Potter, books about old mythology, etc. On the top shelf, she has an alarm clock, her radio, and horse figurines. They look to be the Breyer ones, nothing too expensive or amazing. She’s got a desk covered with stuff. It’s white, with a shelf on the back of it. There’s pocket knives, photos, scrap pieces of paper. Her guitar leans against it too. To the right a little more is the end of her bed and her closet, where she actually stores her clothes. She wears mostly band t-shirts, along with a leather or jean jacket. She wears jeans, but hates wearing skinny jeans. She wears white tennis shoes that are either blue or pink-y. She always wears a necklace with her name on it, in a old, Roman-style calligraphy font. During summer, she wears reflective sunglasses. They’re sort of orange and yellow. At school and out in public, she has on a Chief’s mask. Her hair is long and dirty blond, and she wears glasses. She has blue eyes, the type of weird morning sky you see after staying up and watching the sun rise. Her glasses are black. When with friends, she tends to specify her tone. She will talk about all sorts of things, like books she’s reading, the book she’s currently writing, anything relevant. She doesn’t really like most people, and she will tell them that. She get’s pretty monotone around people she doesn’t like. She swears pretty regularly, and enjoys doing stupid things with people. She loves cars, and has started building her own almost entirely from scratch. She likes racing RC cars in her driveway, and just being outside in general.

the matriarch (best friend); ever since the albatross met the matriarch way back in elementary school they’ve been best friends. their personalities couldn’t be more different, but perhaps it was the balance of their friendship that kept it strong throughout the years. that and the fact that the matriarch never found out about the albatross’ crush on their significant other, the cornerstone.
