You heard of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe,) which contains its own multiverse, but have you heard of DFM?
Probably not, at least in this context, since it's something I made up.
The DFM is the Darcy Fanfiction Multiverse. In it includes every fic I have ever written, and in it they are all canon because Multiverse and I said so. In it there also include many OCs who make an appearance (or will) in multiple works, even if they are not connected works, just like all the other characters. Because I make the rules.

absolutely ok if you're keeping it a surprise, but since you've mentioned it in your tags, is there any teaser of what drawn from memory is about? no spoilers of course! ;)
Oh yeah, totally!
Essentially, it's Patrick retelling his own version of their whole story. It came from a bingo card that @hey-ginger and I created for ourselves, to try to inspire us to write short fic (HAHAHAHAHA. Short. FUCK.), which had one of the squares, 'All This Happened, More Or Less' and it just seemed right to do it first person, even though that's not a style of writing I'd usually go for myself. I know a lot of people don't like it.
It may not go down very well, but it's kind of what makes the story distinct and sort of work in its own right, I guess. You have Patrick as a potentially unreliable narrator, so you're not sure if what he says happened is just his perspective or if that really was it and what was exactly said or implied, and whose actions may or may not have been to blame for things happening.
It covers from a time when they started taking an interest in each other, through the stuff that caused the hiatus, the hiatus and its various projects, and all that kind of thing... It sticks pretty closely to the real timeline and major events, and fits the story around that.
Here's a little bit that doesn't really spoil the Patroh parts of the story, too much.
I was hurt, y'know? I think that was the worst of it. It hurt. I was just kind of in shock, because what the fuck was I gonna do, now? That was my future she was ripping apart - all those years I'd fucking wasted, y'know? We had a cat! And I kind of acted out over it. I felt so sorry for myself, I guess the thing I thought it was best to do was to hurt myself through the medium of Sad, Lonely Drunk: A Dickwad Story.
I sat in a bar and I got drunk. Every day. For a month. And I could've sat at home and everything, in this apartment she'd moved out of to live with him, and I had to finish the lease on, but no. I chose to go out, to the bar where I always used to go hang out with Joe and his Not The Band friends, because he's always been the social butterfly amongst us - always the one who had someone to hang out with - and I guess I was kind of waiting. I wanted someone to come in and find me, I guess. Like, I was hiding with my misery, but in plain sight, like some kind of woman in a classic novel, with a bad case of affected melancholy.
And, after a little bit, he did find me. He just came in, one afternoon, sat beside me and ordered a Coke, because he wasn't even twenty-one, yet. And after a couple of minutes of us just hanging out there in silence, he says, "Told you she was a fucking asshole, dude."
And for the first time in like a month, I laughed. I just spluttered out this dumb, stupid laugh and I leaned on his shoulder and he put an arm around me and he didn't even finish his Coke before we went back to his place and Marie made us mac 'n' cheese and we sat up on the couch until 2am, marathoning Police Academy and picking out every fault Anna ever had. All three of us.
I slept on the couch, instead of going back to our shitty, stupid apartment and when I woke up at like lunch, the next day, Joe had called Pete and gotten them both calling around a bunch of our friends, asking if anyone needed a new roomie. It sounds like a kind of little thing, now, I guess, but that day it was like they chained themselves to railings with me.

At Terminal 1, waiting for Eva air and when we came inside all of the stuff are hello kitty 🫶🏻. I was assign in crew bed for Eva Air. Working in crew bed is easy, you just have to change the pillow cases, put new duvet for blankets and remove all the use ones.
We had fun working in Eva Air even though it’s a tiring day!

16 Tops Films for European Film Festival 2022
The European Film Festival in South Africa returns with a hybrid event for its 9th edition between 13 and 23 October 2022.
Festival co-director Magdalene Reddy explains that the festival will continue to cater for its viewers and followers who have become accustomed to the ease of watching films in the comfort of their own homes, while also providing for those who long to return to the full cinema experience. ‘This is our transitional approach of coming back to theatres gradually,’ she says. The online screenings will be free while a ticket price will be charged for the theatre screenings. Each film will have a single screening at both Ster-Kinekor’s The Zone in Johannesburg and at The Labia in Cape Town.
Sixteen award-winning films, eight of them by women directors, will be screened. This year’s theme, Innocence and Beyond, explores innocence not just as a legal concept, but as a human quality. This includes two stand-out perspectives through the eyes of children in Petite Maman and Playground. Petite Maman is a tender tale of memory, friendship, and family by the gifted and often unpredictable French filmmaker Céline Sciamma, while in Playground Belgian director Laura Wandel deploys cameras rigged at child level to effectively portray the emotions and experiences of school bullying from a child’s point of view.
There is no set age for when loss of innocence can occur and a number of films focus on youth as they navigate the often turbulent process of growing into adults. From the Netherlands, Shariff Korver's slow-burning psychological thriller Do Not Hesitate depicts unprepared Dutch youths thrown into the crucible of war, a situation complicated by their naiveté when encountering other cultures. Swiss film Olga, by Elie Grappe, is a tense but sensitively handled tale of exile reflecting the clash between the personal and the political in a young Ukrainian gymnast's search for identity against the backdrop of revolution in her mother country. The riveting women-driven film Small Body is an adventure story infused with a wonderful mythological sensibility that earned Laura Samani the best new director prize at Italy’s David d’Donatello awards. How much does innocence inform a young woman's quest for love and meaning as she enters her 30s without any idea about her identity and purpose in life? This is the question in Joachim Trier’s The Worst Person in the World, a Norwegian/ French/ Danish/ Swedish co-production that earned two Oscar nominations this year. Then, Stefan Arsenijević’s Serbian/ French/ Luxembourgian/ Bulgarian/ Lithuanian co-production As Far As I Can Walk highlights that it’s not just securing a roof over one’s head but also the challenges of emotional and intellectual deprivation that young migrants in Europe face today.
Is innocence solely about what’s right and what’s wrong? Sometimes it’s about what we don’t do. Sometimes it’s about making choices that impact both ourselves and those around us, and in some cases society and the wider world? Silent Land, by Poland’s Aga Woszczyńska, is a case of what the protagonists didn’t do, and how that leads to the collapse of a relationship. The film is also about the collapse of value systems in the modern world, about a general indifference to reality, and about social lethargy. Erik Poppe’s Swedish film The Emigrants is an epic period drama about a poverty-stricken family who emigrate from Sweden to the United States in the 1800s. Told from a woman’s perspective, their search for a second chance in life is, like the stories of migration in our current era, about a journey of hope. From the Republic of Georgia, Levan Koguashvili’s comedic Brighton 4th is a portrait of parental sacrifice and the love of a father for his son that also offers an authentic look at the immigrant experience and the elusiveness of the American Dream. Enveloped in music and humour, Ali and Ava, written and directed by one of the UK’s most distinctive cinematic voices, Clio Barnard, is about a couple from different cultural backgrounds beginning a relationship with a mixture of nervous excitement, openness and innocence. The Good Boss, directed by Fernando León de Aranoa, is the Spanish film in this year’s festival – it’s a hilarious satirical comedy about the indignities of working life, with the questionable innocence of Javier Bardem in the spotlight.
Overturning conventional definitions of innocence Austrian Sebastian Meise’s Cannes-winner Great Freedom explores tenderness, love, lost time, and the tenacity of the human spirit while chronicling an ignominious chapter in queer history. Portuguese director Catarina Vasconcelos’s unorthodox film The Metamorphosis of Birds sifts through the memories and dreams of her ancestors in an extraordinary homage that demonstrates how something deeply personal can be profoundly universal. Is a humanoid robot innocent? That’s one of the questions in the witty and delightfully entertaining German film I’m Your Man by Maria Schrader. It’s a spunky sci-fi dramedy that also asks what it is that humans want in relationships, and if AI beings should have rights.
Finally, the world is again witnessing and affected by a terrible war, and innocence is an unfortunate casualty during wartime, at all levels. Along with the already mentioned war drama Do Not Hesitate, there is director/screenwriter/editor Maryna Er Gorbach’s Ukrainian-set drama Klondike. About the travails of parents-to-be living near the Russian border this film couldn’t be more timely as it exposes the absurdity of war and how it affects those who aren't directly involved just as easily as those who are.

eSwatini and Lesotho
This year’s festival extends its reach to neighbouring countries eSwatini and Lesotho with 3-day programmes of screenings and discussions taking place at the Alliance Française in Mbabane (21 to 23 October) and the Alliance Française in Maseru (28 to 30 October).
Side Events
Real-time Zoom panel discussions and Q&A’s with film directors will enrich the experience and understanding of the filmmaking processes and motivations as well as the topics raised in the films, while a programme of Filmmaker Engagements is formulated to inspire young filmmakers at film schools in South Africa. In addition, with an emphasis on youth, the festival will again provide a number of screening and discussion programmes at select secondary schools and community centres in different parts of the country.

Importance of DFM, DFT, and DFA in Product Design
In the product design lifecycle, mass manufacturing is done at the final stage of product release. There are several factors such as good design, minimum PCB assembly re-operations & iterations, less material overhead and labor cost to consider in this stage to manufacture valued products for OEMs and enterprises.
To achieve this, Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) techniques are widely used in an integrated and controlled manner. Sometimes, also called DFMA (design for manufacturing & assembly), which is used to minimize product cost & time through design and process improvements.
In manufacturing services, DFM is the process used for ease of manufacturing, while DFA is the method of design used for ease of assembly in product design. It is applicable to PCB fabrication or PCB assembly or product assembly. Good DFMA practices can accelerate the manufacturing process and provide an added advantage of reduced cost, material wastage, increased yield from available resources and ultimately save time and scale up the production.
DFT is the method of design to ensure PCBA level operational & functional testing facilitated by test points on the board. Once the physical manufacturing process is finished, DFT helps to validate the board’s assembly and ensure product hardware is manufactured defect-free.
In this article, we would take a closer look at the DFA/DFT/DFM guidelines, and their importance to production processes. Let’s get right on it.
DFM Guidelines
Eliminate expensive, complex or unnecessary features for easy manufacturing
Avoid tight tolerances, accommodate within manufacturing process capabilities (e.g. PCB stackups, trace width-spacing, thickness & via/hole/cutout toolings)
PCB panelization is very important factor in PCB fabrication cost
Good to avoid parts with sharp edges & points, better to use radial chamfering
Try to avoid bulky parts in design to reduce fatigue and lifting challenges
Avoid rigid-flex PCB design if not mandatory
Avoid uneven pads & irregular shapes in footprints for better etching
Minimize solder-mask offsets for sufficient solder-joints in reflow process
Use more thermal vias (instead of bigger Via holes)
DFA Guidelines
Minimize the number of part count & types of parts to reduce inventory handling, sourcing, stock and assembly time
Use parts with self-locating/aligning features & which can’t be installed incorrectly
Design parts with self-fastening features to support mechanical challenges
Use single side PCB for part placement
Follow the ‘Top-Down’ assemblies approach for gravity advantage
Do product design considering different parameters for a smooth assembly process like system partitioning, interconnection type and its assembly inside product, size and a package of parts, a minimum distance between assembly parts, etc.
Provide parts enough clearance from PCB edges and also maintain minimum clearance between two components in a dense board considering the assembly process capability
Arrange similar components symmetrically for easy installation
Take care of mating connectors, cable orientation/height and area requirement
Avoid using parts that are tangled prone & difficult to pick up/handle during assembly
Avoid uneven pads & irregularities in footprint pads as it would require manual touch-up after surface mount technology to achieve optimum solderability
Big size thermal vias impact GND-pad solderability, so use via tenting/filling/plugging (generally resin fill or conductive/non-conductive material)
DFT Guidelines
Implement product testability starting from the development or prototype stage
Cover all critical signals for testability
Should have single side test points for added advantage on test set-up with Bed of Nail (BoN)
Consider test points size and minimum pitch of test points right from the design phase to achieve Bed-of-nail (BoN) set-up within capabilities
Ensure low skew between TAP signals (e.g xJTAG) & Buffer TAP signals with voltage level separations (inside TestFixture wiring)
Consider testing multi-board panels as one unit
Test points should have enough clearance to pad/component/PCB edge
For full ICT (In-circuit test) coverage, every net of design should have test points
Emphasize Test-flow to isolate issues related to component failures and manufacturing errors
Choose correct spring-loaded probes (pins) to facilitate a proper electrical connection
Avoid bulky & heightened components to use Flying probe testing
Testing time per unit is crucial & target should be to achieve as minimum as possible
Test automation should be driven from ease of testing, limited test-points, simple system feedback mechanicals
Design test fixtures to cover functional validation either by semi OR full automation
