I'm almost done catching up on Earthspark and I hope, hope that Ratchet shows up next season but I need him to show up a certain way

Ratchet shows up for his dunno maybe a twice a year check-in, catches sight of the Terrans, and immediently starts tearing into OP and Megatron because THERES FRAGGING SPARKLINGS AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME???

And coming in behind him is Deadlock. Red optics, Decepticon symbol proudly displayed on his chest, dangerous energy overall

OP and Megatron are watching him warily because what is going on?? Deadlock??? Wat??? And Ratchet is just checking over the Terrans, muttering to himself threats on reformating OP and Megatron into toasters, ignoring the way everyone is suddenly tense because there's a very dangerous Decepticon Oh my Primus Ratchet why is there a very dangerous Decepticon

A very dangerous Decepticon who Ratchet turns around, points a finger at, and tells him to stop leering and make himself useful damnit Drift this is why I said I'd come alone

And Deadlock. Just. Melts. Awww but Ratty

Full on heart-eyes, following at his heels, speaking kindly to the Terrans and kids, the whole nine-yards

The only hiccup is when OP warily slides over and is like So Drift?

And Deadlock turns to him, fangs flashing, It's Deadlock to you

SAW MAE CATT’S SUNDAY PANEL AT TFN AND THEY OFFHANDEDLY MENTIONED THAT THEY’D LIKE TO HAVE INCLUDED AN APPEARANCE OF DRIFT AND RATCHET AS, I QUOTE, HUSBANDS IN EARTHSPARK

Spoke to them afterwards about what they’d like to have done with them if it had actually been properly on the cards, and they said it’d be something like an episode where the kids are struggling to learn how to use their cybersleeves and ratchet is called in in his autobot medic capacity to advise. However it would turn out to be more of a state of mind/philosophical type issue rather than a physiological one so Drift would also weigh in. Together they’d eventually work out a balance of guidance to offer between the two of them, but in the end the kids would have figured it out by themselves.

Characters that I hope appears in Transformers: Earthspark season 2 and reasons why

1. Rung (so the kids can get some therapy)

2. Cyclonus and Tailgate (We just need them in a show together)

3. Knock Out (he can keep his G1 design but PLEASE keep his Prime personality!)

4. Ratchet or First Aid (kids need a proper medic PLEASE!!)

5. Drift (if Ratchet appears in Earthspark please give him his husband. If not, use Drift to show the Terrans that Megatron wasn’t the only decepticon to switch sides.)

6. Hot Rod (Soundwave needs his boyfriend)

7. The other seekers (I know they couldn’t add in Thundercracker because they weren’t allowed to turn him woman but keep him as he is and just have him do his own thing)
