Patronus Memory: Flavio’s Patronus memory centers around the first time he secretly held hands with Penny behind the Owl tower on a late spring afternoon. While he might not have the academical prowess that Flavio could look upto, the Ravenclaw does admire the professor's realism and wisdom. Kettleburn suffered extreme losses throughout his life: His heart was broken and his limbs were stolen - and yet, he keeps a positive and quite optimistic outlook on the future. This upbeat personality that Kettleburn provides, despite his life trying to knock him down, is what Flavio admires first and foremostly.

Least Favourite Professors: Professor Cuthbert Binns

Even the most knowledgeable person can’t teach something if nobody listens, and that is the case with Professor Binns. Flavio’s general dismay towards the ghost comes from the fact that even he himself almost fell asleep during the lectures, something that shouldn’t be the case. Though, despite his negative opinion towards Binns, he does appreciate that the History of Magic teacher values his dedication and ambition to the subject, awarding him reasonable grades at all times.

25 Years old

Nero appears to be more of a loner, he isn’t quite one for the talking and he prefers to keep to himself. He much rather spends his time analyzing and observing others, judging them quietly while making mental notes on their behaviour and their vices, in case he would need to use this kind of knowledge against them at some point.

Despite his more intimidating appearance, he is a quite harmless person, driven by knowledge of ancient magic and cultures. Therefore it wasn’t uncommon for him, to skip classes he thought of as less desirable in order to study the curses and hexes which were used to fortify the vaults against intruders

Obviously, not many were delighted about one of their own dabbling in hexes and curses, therefore Nero was more avoided than embraced even among his own house members. This led to the young Slytherin shutting himself more and more off, becoming even more focused on solving the mysteries of the vaults.

Only shortly before he was sealed into the Portrait vault, Nero realized that Professor Rakepick, the only person that “recognized his potential” and “was willing to help him decipher the riddles of the vaults” actually was a traitor, though it was too late. He had already walked into her trap.

And just as he thought, he would have to spend the rest of eternity in a portrait, he was saved by nobody less than his little brother, who pieced together the position of the vault primarily due to Nero’s detailed notes.

Despite all expectations, Nero merely apologizes for the inconveniences he has created for Flavio before he apparates out of the Vault and continues to hunt down the last vault as well as his former associate Patricia Rakepick. After all, it was her who “stole” his eye. And as the old saying goes “An eye for an eye”.

Once Rakepick was taken care of, Nero returned to his family home after an extended period of time, only to find everything like he left it. His family had the respect for him, not to touch his belongings or rearrange his room. They wanted to have it just like it was before he left the mansion.

The return of the formerly suspected Death Eater to society, was a hard step for Nero but he did it nonetheless, he moved out of the family estate and into a more rural era, applying to multiple places as a cursebreaker before the Gringotts Bank deemed themselves needy of a expert in terms of hexes and curses.

Caitlyn, in regards to her own family often feels like the odd one out. She doesn’t consider herself an academic genius like the rest of her family. Her interest doesn’t lie in spellwork or history but in fiction. She adores fictional stories, she almost devours every piece of pop culture that is being published and she is incredibly knowledgeable about all kinds of trends, but it doesn’t feel like she belongs among the brightest minds of her wizarding generation. At least, to her.

The young Gryffindor spends a majority of her time reading all sorts of comics or drawing her own little one about a girl that fights off mythical monsters to save her school. The idea comes from Caitlyn's inner desire to no longer stand in the shadow of her two older brothers and show the world that she herself also is capable of fighting and defending Hogwarts when it's needed.

She first became a hero to someone else when she actively skipped classes, knowingly she might fail her classes in order to comfort Beatrice Haywood, who was trapped in the portrait for the majority of her first year in Hogwarts. This loyalty towards the young Hufflepuff is later on rewarded by Caitlyn being one of the only people Beatrice trusts enough to open up to.

After being freed from the Portrait, the Hufflepuff had to endure a lot of pity and belittling, especially from her older sister. Opposed to that, Beatrice felt that Caitlyn actually cared, that she was invested in the wellbeing of the Hufflepuff and that nothing would stop her from making sure that everything is in order. This and the fact that both girls realized that they somehow suffered from standing in the shadow of their older siblings, formed a bond that could very well be described as friendship.

These two grew closer and closer as time progressed and it's no wonder to their classmates that they became a couple shortly before graduating. Their continuous exposure to each other, after all, made them fall in love with each other and the story for sure, doesn’t end there.

Sylas is a very dedicated person. Compassion and philanthropy are the two strongest traits that you would associate with him. He cares deeply about the people around him and tries to help his friends as good as possible without putting his own needs behind theirs. He counts generally as very excitable and curious with a huge interest in riddles and mysteries.

While it might seem a little childish, Sylas is a big fan of giving his guests a riddle that they may solve till their next visit and if they succeed, they earn themselves a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie.

That is mainly due to Sylas’ love for baking. He especially loves making Chocolate chip banana-bread - something that he quickly became famous for in the Cecere and Haywood family.

Sylas is also the family member that highly values festivities and goes to great lengths to make family traditions as well as holidays as enjoyable as possible, he even researches muggle board games that he and his family can play while the kids are home.

While she was a very strict person during her job, Delilah has grown to be much more calm during her retirement. She now has way less responsibilities and less on her plate so she can focus on what she loves to do: writing books. Her favourite topic appears to be murder mysteries and she always has very elaborate ruses on her mind. She loves to sit back and watch her husband’s unending enthusiasm sweep everyone off their feet.

Often regarded as the matriarch of the Ceccere Family, Delilah's naturally dominant and strong appearance helps her greatly to earn the respect and attention of guests and occasionally family members in order to hold a speech and or criticize behavior.

In order to write her books as realistic as possible, Delilah spend a lot of her time studying human anatomy, efficient ways to murder people, simply biology and forensics alongside all kind of other methods of science and deduction.

Even though she therefore has a lot of knowledge on how to get rid of people, the fighting days of “demolishing Delilah” as her colleagues at the ministry used to call her, are by far over. Nowadays she just likes to tell anecdotes and stories from her times as an auror

BACKGROUND/HISTORY

Born into a wealthy family with land and wealth in the southwest of Scotland, Flavio wasn’t like the other kids that lived in the city closeby. He never went out to play with his dog or attended muggle school. Instead he spent a lot of time inside - reading, writing, drawing. Much to the pleasure of his parents, Flavio showed academic personality traits and interests at a young age.

His passion for these kinds of interests were probably mostly fueled by his mother Delilah, who decided to take some time off of her current project and write a handful of books with vocabulary and grammar for Flavio to learn reading with. One could easily say that Mrs Ceccere, was without doubt, highly concerned with her son's education and did everything in her power to further Flavio's thirst for knowledge..

In addition, around the same age as his fascination for literary topics arose, his body also displayed the random bursts of magical energy that actually confirmed him to be a member of the wizarding society. Much to the relief of his parents, since it has taken a prolonged time for Flavio’s ability to manifest

While Flavio was not old enough to quite understand why Nero had to be gone for such a long time at once, he still was thrilled every time his older brother came home over the holidays. Sadly, his older brother did not share Flavio’s enthusiasm and often hid away in his room, mildly ignoring the Ravenclaw to take care of his own studies and research. On the rare occasion that the two brothers actually did something together, it often resulted in Nero teaching Flavio about ancient magic and long lost civilizations. Nero especially loved teaching about the Roman Empire and their superiority towards other nations of their time.

Not long after Flavio had learned how to read, his little sister Caitlyn was born. Now with two kids on their hands that needed to learn about the world, the Ceccere’s delegated some of the educational responsibility regarding the Ravenclaw to their oldest son. While Nero first protested against this decision, he later on gave in and got to recognize that spending time with his younger brother wasn't as bad as it seemed to be.

Flavio grasped a lot of knowledge about history, politics, science, spellwork and so on and so forth from his older brother. Nero took special interest in teaching Flavio how the world works, what actions usually cause which reactions, how to read people's body language and how to remember specific information for a long amount of time. Something that the Ravenclaw couldn’t possibly have learnt from his shrewd but reclusive brother are social skills.

With the beginning of Nero’s fifth year at Hogwarts, the letters that the Slytherin sent home became increasingly more cryptic. Some were coded in a sort of alien speech, others disintegrated into black dust after staring at them too long. It became sort of maddening. This went on for a few months and nobody in Flavio’s family was even close to deciphering any of these letters. They contemplated visiting their son at school but feared that this could make, whatever it is what is going on right now, even worse. So they just collected these letters and sealed them away. This was, till there were no more letters.

Around the summer break, the letters stopped coming. In fact, there was no more communication at all. And worry began to place itself within the family. While Nero was known to be moody from time to time, he was always punctual or at least, excused his absence. But neither did the Slytherin return to the family estate for the summer break nor did he write any more letters. With worry steadily growing, the Ceccere’s tried to get in contact with every possible person that might know where Nero could have gone, to no avail. Even Hogwarts Headmaster stated that he hasn’t seen Mr. Nero Ceccere in a while.

This means that the formerly so harmonious and caring family was now forced to live under the impression that their oldest son had gone missing … or worse. Which took a toll on everyone's mood for a short amount of time. But they never stopped searching for Nero, they never gave up hope to one day reunite with their long lost son.

By the time Flavio received his Letter to Hogwarts, Nero had been missing for almost 3 years. More forcibly than anything, the Ceccere’s had tried to move on and focus on the future of their other two children. Yet when Sylas and Delilah handed Flavio the envelope they implored that Flavio should take some time off of his studies as often as possible to investigate the disappearance of Nero.

And with that, the Events of Hogwarts Mystery begin…

PERSONALITY

Intellectual: Due to his superior intellectual prowess, Flavio can be considered one of the brightest wizards of his age and time. And while it is true that Flavio has memorized a multitude of knowledge, which can be helpful in all sorts of situations, he certainly lacks streetsmarts. Therefore he might be able to quote books word for word or calculate specific statistics within seconds, but in return he has almost no social intelligence or a grip on how to deal with less theoretical problems. Yet this doesn’t stop him from taking pride in his expanded knowledge.

Perceptive : While he is not much of a spotlight character, Flavio has honed other talents in his time at Hogwarts. Instead of playing the forward hero, the Ravenclaw prefers to stay back and pay attention to his surroundings, inspecting changes in someone's body language and making mental notes of some people's behaviors. This information, as Nero has taught him, later on helps to read people like a book, knowing what they think about the people they interact with and piecing together parts of the other people like a puzzle.

Socially Awkward: Because Flavio was given into the educational care of his more reserved and reclusive brother, he never quite gained a grip on the social aptitude that the rest of his family displays. While he might be a genius on a variety of topics, he certainly appears to stumble when it comes to holding natural conversations as well as talking in front of a large sum of people. He struggles with giving wrong answers or saying the wrong thing and therefore obsesses over every word that comes out of his mouth. Therefore Flavio prefers to keep to himself and his books.

Witty: “I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but I see you are unarmed.” - While Flavio might lack the charisma that other purebloods use to charm their way into the minds of others, the Ravenclaw has found his own way with words. He uses his natural aptitude for words or ideas to create humor or counter arguments in an inventive way rather than bluntly insulting someone.
