I headcanon that Rorke really wanted kids at some point, but found out that hes a carrier for multiple horrible genetic issues and couldn't bring himself to have a child knowing that they would have, like, a 80% chance of dying before they would've hit double digits.

He copes by 'adopting' (read 'kidnapping') every soldier he comes across that has a shity home life and is in desperate need of a half decent parental figure. *Cough* Keegan *Cough*

(Which, to be fair, I do think he'd be pretty sneaky about it. Disguises the more dad behaviors like checking how they're doing as just a Captain making sure the team is in order.) Keegan was the first to catch on but he thought it was nice so he didn't say shit.

Also, random HC that popped into my head relating to Rorke treating the team like his fam: 100% he had to have looked at Merrick like a brother, right? Like an annoying brother at times, but still. That's his bro. Bitch ass brother you beat the crud out of.

The REAL reason he took Logan: Wanted to adopt another kid. Didn't like anyone in the Federation enough to adopt them, then Logan tried to kill him several times and he went "Oh! This little guy kicks ass." and snatched him.

When I go grocery shopping, I tend to think of Gabriel, Trevor, and Marie with me. Trevor always grabs a box of Scooby Snacks. Marie has to keep her hand in Gabriel's, because he has a tendency to wander off. Gabriel won't voice it, but his eyes always light up when I pick up some cookie mixes. Since I still wear my mask, they will also wear masks as well. Gabriel's has a hidden slot where you can insert a pacifier, and has a vampire teeth pattern on it. Marie's has a teddy bear pattern on it. Trevor has a wolf mouth on his, and his also has the pacifier slot in it as well. Usually, Gabriel is the only one who uses it though. Most of my cart gets filled with snacks and junk food, but Marie and I don't mind, and will still let our boys into the toy aisle.

Gabriel knowing Gregorian Chants makes me so happy. However, his time frame would've been too early for the Guidonian Hand, which makes me a little sad.

Also, I said it once, I'll say it again: Gabriel would not have been able to communicate with Victor or the Acolytes. This man isolated himself for five hundred years, 1047-1557, which would have altered how well he could communicate with humans outside the Castle because of languages evolving outside the Castle. He probably was able to pick up on most of these changes over time though.

However, during his death-sleep, 1557-2057, he would not have been subjected to the modern languages, making it harder for him to communicate with Victor and the Acolytes. Satan, Trevorcard, Marie, Carmilla, and Zobek were from the same era as Gabriel, so they could communicate with him the best, with Trevorcard having telepathic communications with his father as well.

The Castle would be able to communicate easily as well, since it would have been Gabriel's sold companion for five hundred years.

But, he is fluent in Latin, so maybe Victor and the Acolytes spoke Latin. Wouldn't have made much sense, since we see in the opening scenes of LoS2 with Gabriel reciting a Latin prayer with The Golden Paladin, and they even used Latin Captions for it.

But the first time you hear the last Acolyte, Guido, speak, he uses Enochian, the language of both Angels and Demons in LoS. Which is not a language that Gabriel nor Trevorcard are familiar with, but Zobek is. This makes sense too, because Guido is an occult leader as well as Satan's son. Satan was an Angel. Zobek's reasoning would've been more complicated. Reasoning for that here.

So, since Gabriel and Trevorcard weren't Angels, of course they wouldn't have known it.

The big secret he refuses to share: His middle name is literally just P. The singular letter. Everyone assumes he just doesn't bother to write it out but literally he just has "P" for a middle name. And it's only a secret because Keegan thinks the "Coming up with random P names" is HILARIOUS.

Even Elias and Rorke (Who have access to official paper work with Keegan's full name on it) don't know simply because they never really pay enough attention and assume it's just shortened for whatever reason. Which don't make sense! But they don't care enough to catch it. Rorke has 100% had his hands on Keegan's birth certificate before, read the "Keegan P Russ" name, and just let it slip by him because his skull is dense as he is stubborn.

I see a lot of people on here who have F/O caregivers, but I don't really see that many with F/O age regressors!

So, allow me to gush for a minute.

Gabriel is really cute when he's regressed, mostly because he's just a little bitty baby. He'll waddle after me like a little duckling, and I hold his hand because he gets lost easily. He doesn't like to be alone, especially when regressed, so he always has one of his caregivers with him.

Trevor and Gabriel are also adorable when they regress together! Trevor will be babbling about a toy to Gabriel, and little Gabriel will just suck on his pacifier and watch in child-like wonder. They also get excited for sweets and love to help Marie and I make them!

Any headcanon on Gabriel!Dracula's thoughts and feelings about the Belmont clan? (Or his relationship with them as a whole. With only three Belmonts known outside of himself, I feel like there is plenty of room for imagination lol)

In MoF he wants to kill Simon because, I quote, "He's a Belmont. I will not suffer this bloodline to live any longer!", but I'm not sure where this hostility comes from. It's not just Simon he's after here, wich would be understandable because he is here to kill him lol, but his whole lineage. Is it just because he knows only Belmonts can kill him? So he has to destroy them before they destroy him? What do you think? 👀

I feel like it's entirely dependent on his state of mind and the game.

In MoF, from how much I've played, I haven't had the opportunity to finish it yet, as you stated, it could very well be because of the fact the Belmonts are the only ones who could do anything to him. However, I don't put too much stock into that because as Trevorcard states in LoS2, when Gabriel remembers the conversation at the beginning, "Only my father, Gabriel Belmont, can destroy Dracula." So if Gabriel is the only one who can kill Dracula, what was the point of sending the rest of the Belmonts after Dracula? I don't see this as Gabriel wants to kill the lineage, but I could possibly argue that the Brotherhood of Light wanted to destroy the lineage 🤔.

Back to the original thought, I don't necessarily see it as a whole, 'I have to destroy my lineage, before they destroy me' but more as a 'Oh god, I don't want my lineage to suffer like I have, so I'm gonna kill them as quickly as possible and try and prevent them from suffering the same fate as me.'

Also remember, Gabriel wasn't aware Simon existed until he came to the castle and he watched Trevorcard watch Simon. However, given his state of mind during MoF, it definitely comes off as extremely, uh well, aggressive. I can't help but wonder if Gabriel was partially under the influence and possession of the castle at that point and time, which would explain why he's so out of character in MoF.

But also, if we look at how he interacts with Trevorcard and Victor in LoS2, he doesn't seem nearly as aggressive or violent towards them. In fact, at Victor's death, when Victor looks at him and tells him "You are the last Belmont." He seems kinda, upset and mournful. Now mind you, at that point, he has no idea where Trevorcard is, and his mind is scrambled from the effects of the Crissaegrim. So to him in that moment, he succeeded in wiping out the Belmonts, but now he's alone again. At least, until Trevorcard reveals himself to Dracul.
