Okay, I’m back and as soon as I stepped foot in the train station I got the Flux email. You’ve set up the rest of my day, thank you foxy❤️ (also not reading it on the train because I don’t think people would want to see me kick something out of anger✨)

First thing first: how are feeling? A little better or is the nerve damage still bothering you?🥺

Also, how was your first day back to work? (I was about to write back to school, ignore me my brain is broken🥲)

Okay, AMENDED.

The way they talked and communicated throughout the whole chapter gave so much comfort. It was honestly like witnessing a cycle of healing, everything getting better. The whole talk they had about their parents gives a sense of anxiety, it was really morbid, but it was like “shit is gonna happen anyway but at least we can watch each other’s backs now”.

AND THEN THE FINAL PART ARRIVED.

Truth being told, 🌚 finished this chapter before me for the first time in forever and started to tease me about knowing things. They grow up so fast🤧

My face while I read the “I’m not a homewrecker for what we did last Christmas” by Jasmin MY FACE LEGIT WENT “😳”. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO SLEEP AFTER THAT SHIT? I know they will talk about it maturely but I’m honestly not ready to read all the disgusting things jk did to Bella in high school. I physically can’t be mad at him😭😭

The feelings about high school JK will probably be very different reading it now than if I'd written it 20 chapters ago! So that's intentional... but it's still a gnarly thing and clearly neither of them was thinking about the fact that Jasmin's family is still here and she might come home for hte holidays or run into them. To Isabella at least, that's a past demon... until suddenly now she's right there. Initially I had wanted the interaction with Jasmin to just be innocuous, but realized it couldn't be for Reasons.

And yes yes about how lovely it is to see them united. Look, short of having Stig and Yoo Ki-jung killed in prison, there's no nice easy way I can just knot that up. So many people have to live with the stress of connections like that looming over their shoulder, but at least they aren't alone with that now.

And yea, this is a story about how not everyone grows up after high school, LOL
