The funniest, the actual funniest part about Wriolette is that it started off of nothing but vibes. Literally. We had two attractive men, not even in the same scene in the "Final Feast" animation, and people decided they were married.

Was it because they were two attractive men? Probably. Did it make any sense? No, not really at the time. (To be clear, this isn't automatically a bad thing) Did it happen anyway? Yes.

It amuses me that, of the WarioWare Crew, Ashley's the one who likes Wario the least (besides Lulu obviously), because they actually have a surprising amount in common.

I mean,

Easily the two most powerful characters in the cast. Wario because he's Wario and Ashley because even if she's not the best at casting spells consistently, when they do work they fucking Work

Both clearly introverted and low empathy but also secretly very lonely

Easily get wrapped up in their passions (Money for Wario, Magic for Ashley)

Sometimes don't treat their subordinates as well as they should, partly because of the above two points but also because they just don't know how to People

Big Eaters (there's a reason Ashley's theme is Food most of the time)

Both have a tendency towards laziness

Their favorite foods, garlic and mandrake root respectively, tend to get compared to and confused with one another a lot

Both have a lot of Big Adventures with friends/acquaintances outside of Diamond City

They both tend to boast about being the best when they're Really Not, between Ashley's song claiming she "casts the darkest spells and brews the meanest potions" and like, half the things Wario ever says
