13. what’s your comfort food?

Okay, I already answered this, but I have a lot of comfort foods, so I don't mind answering it again XD Let's go with my favorite comfort breakfast: Scrambled eggs with cheese (and either bacon bits or ham or whatever other random meat leftovers we might have that doesn't have a sauce or something) with ketchup on top, and a slice of bread (not toasted; I'm weird like that) with butter and jam (preferably strawberry) and maybe a yogurt-fruit cup or a banana.

21. if you could tell your past self one thing, what would it be?

I would go back to the beginning of August 2015 and tell my past self, "Number One, you're not going to get a job in your college town, so don't worry about it. Number Two, you're also not going to get any of those proofreading jobs you're eyeing. So look into this thing called scoping right now and get started on it! Don't bother with taking court reporting classes, maybe don't even worry about getting another job in the meantime. Just really focus on scoping and get started working in that field, rather than flailing around in desperation and then dragging your feet for ten years."

22. what would you say to your future self?

"Hey, Novie from 2045! Don't complain about how much of a hassle it'll be or how you don't know anyone in the path of totality for the solar eclipse! SOLAR ECLIPSES ARE COOL, and you should absolutely travel somewhere so you can see the whole thing. It'll be your fourth solar eclipse, and how cool is that?! I hope you kept the eclipse glasses I bought for you several decades ago."

Afternoon - specifically the late afternoon, when it's not quite sunset but the light is getting more golden and the shadows are getting longer and darker.

30. what reminds you of home (doesn’t have to mean house… just things that remind you of the feeling of home)?

The particular brand of laundry soap my mom uses. My dad's aftershave. The taste of lamb meat. Rich, bitter black tea sweetened with lots of sugar. Angelfood flavoring (or just almond extract). Sweet sesame flavor. Hot, hot sun and a cool breeze. Honking and the growling of buses and the ambient sounds of traffic. The sound of the ezan.

You've never played ffx? X-2 is a jam for sure, a bop even, but X might be one of the best games I've ever seen, it made me cry more than once for several reasons, and you can look up guides for all the puzzles and stuff! I cannot recommend it enough!

I eventually did buy the remaster of X and X-2 on PS4! I do intend on playing it someday! But.. *looks at backlog of games warily*

... I at least know a couple of good Let's Players who've done the game that I might get around to? 8D;;;;;;;

Hello my friend! I saw your tags on the silm minor characters post and I had to reach out. Recently I got some sort of artistic burnout from this and I had to block the silm tag haha like, all those gorgeous elf fanarts? But like, every artist draws them in its own way, colors etc (and it's good, they should!), many times with no reference to their name in the caption? and everyone is like *calls elf by name, surname, nickname, fandom nickname and almost-famous deeds* like wth? It was too much to me yk.
