Friday, 1908 Dear Journal,

Today started early with Mama rousing me and Pa before the sun for Si's wedding. Si, true to form, seemed uninterested, bored even, as we made our way to the church yard.

Despite a soggy autumn, today turned unexpectedly pleasant. Clear skies, a welcome break from the week's thunderstorms. However, I think Ma is stressed, she kept nagging about walking with my skirt up to avoid dragging it through the mud....

The ceremony was small, Only Josephine's parents and Jackson with his fancy wife, bothered to show. I tried my best to focus on Mama's words from yesterday, And I could see why Jackson favored her.

Skinny, porcelain pale, dripping in expensive jewelry....everything I am not. However, as Josephine graced us with her entrance, any inkling of comparison vanished.

Radiance enveloped her, surpassing the boundaries of mere beauty. She embodied something ethereal. A sunlight aura surrounded her, and I found myself akin to a sunflower, unable to avert my gaze.

Even Si seemed genuinely happy, I saw him smile from ear to ear, he clasped her soft delicate hands, and caressed her cheek.

It was a sight to see, physical or emotional affection have never been his forte, not even in our childhood.

He was initially furious with Pa over the prospect of marrying Josephine. I remember his enraged shouts, echoing from the parlor.

Confidentially, Journal, I've noticed his practiced performance of donning the façade of a gentleman and a devoted son, particularly when in Mr. Coombes' presence.

Whether genuine or an act, my earnest prayer is for him to treat Josephine with the respect she deserves. I hold a genuine fondness for her, and I welcome her warmly into our family.

REMINDER!!! THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE READ AS A MUSICAL!!!!

(The scene opens with the stage split into two parts. The stage is built up of five bedrooms, one for each college house plus an extra one, two on top three on the bottom, each of which have various amounts of twin beds and a pull out couch. These sets are able to quickly change into interrogation rooms.

(Rooms:

Top floor. Both bedrooms belong to house of Mallory. The first room (where Joe, Jack, Elliot, Hugo and Cora sleep) is the main room in the house of Mallory. Mallory is the only house with two rooms/sets. The second room is designed more as a guest bedroom, hence why 14 year old Nora is there. It's also used as a room for inappropriate things. )

Bottom floor

(The bottom floor consists of three rooms, house of Malfoy where June, Julian, Josephine, Reghan, Cole and Wesley sleep, house of Hargreaves where Ava, Eric, Conner, Claire, Elizabeth and Cara sleep, and house of Harrington where Josie, Adam, Corey, Dominic, Dalia and Lukas sleep.)

(The top left shines a light on a pull out bed with Jack Collins and Claire Rose lying in it. Jack Collins is seen getting up from the bed and putting on a white T-shirt as the music begins.)

Jack:

Like an apparition appeared in the kitchen, I am overpowered.

(Claire rises up from the bed, only wearing one of jacks grey sweatpants and a pink bra. Jack throws a purple hoodie at her, Claire is blushing and panting heavily as she gets up and quickly puts it on.)

Claire:

Hungover and beautiful

Threw myself a funeral, so you'd have to bring me flowers.

Both:

You said, "Save yourself, fall out of love"

(They glance at each other before Claire leaves stage left, slamming the door shut. Jack watches in horror as his twin brother Joe and younger sister Nora arise from the twin beds).

(The entire stage lights up as the other characters, Ava, Elliot, June, Eric, Josie, Hugo, Adam, Reghan, Conner, Dylan, Cora, Julian, Cara, Dominic, Corey, Josephine, Lukas, Cole and Wesley rise up from their beds.)

(The lights go down slightly, with only one remaining on Corey as he frantically shoves all his books, as well as a small golden retriever teddy bear into his bag.)

Corey:

With a kiss so poisonous boys are delirious, lying on the motel bed

Said, I'd get sick of you, I kinda always wanted to

Let me die this little death.

Corey and Jack:

You said, "Save yourself, fall out of love"

You said, "Save yourself, fall out of love".

(The lights go down once again, and quickly go up revealing each character now dressed as they all step closer towards the edge of the stage, Claire is seen walking back on stage right now completely dressed and holding a large textbook of political science in her hands)

All characters:

And I'm drunk just off your eyes, nurse the flask between your thighs

(Ah ah-ah-ah)

I shoot the angels from the skies, clip their wings and watch 'em die.

Nora:

Well, there's a black hole inside of me.

Dalia:

Apathetic vacancy.

Corey:

Even just her touch is war.

Reghan, Claire and Joe

Drinking blood on the first date, we can never separate 'morning' and 'the night before'.

All:

She said, "Save yourself, fall out of love"

June:

And I'm drunk just off your eyes, nurse the flask between your thighs.

(Ah ah-ah-ah)

All:

I shoot the angels from the skies, clip their wings and watch 'em die.

Joe:

Trace the steps to the place where they buried your heart.

Elliot:

(All my dreams are dead)

Josie:

List the words that they used as they pulled you apart.

All:

Soul

Nora:

(In the winter wind where our lungs collapse)

Jack and Ava:

(As the music slows down and stops, each of the characters exit stage left).

ONE HOUR LATER!

(The scene opens with Joe and Nora in the right side bedroom for Mallory house, the room is covered in blood, so is Nora, her green dress ripped and covered in blood, her hair a mess and her face twisted into discomfort and disgust, she's sitting on a random bed that has been worn down over the years. Joe is also covered in blood, though not nearly as much as Nora, his white T-shirt that has an Amsterdam design on it is torn half to pieces while his jeans only have a few splatters on them. He's cleaning frantically, grunting to himself as he attempts to rid the floor of Noras blood.)

Nora:

Some big brother you are.

Joe:

Shut the fuck up! You say another word and I'll find a way to murder you again I don't know how but if you keep talking to me I'll find a way.

(Nora goes quiet, tears in her eyes as she looks out the window towards her other brother Jack, who's currently inviting people to a house party, unaware of what has just happened to his little fourteen year old now dead ghost sister)

Nora:

I bet Jacks party would've been fun....

Joe:

God even when you're dead you're an annoying little shit.

(Nora picks up an old dusty red book and throws it at his head, knocking him back slightly)

Nora:

Asshole!

(Joe marches over to his dead sister, his six foot five frame looming over her as she refuses to back away)

Joe:

Can't you just leave me alone?! I did nothing wrong!

Nora:

You fucking killed me! You tortured me and Jack our entire god damn lives! But hey, least now I get to haunt you for eternity you fucking psychopathic paedophilic creep!

Joe:

(Screams) Like I said, keep being an annoying little shit and I'll find a way to kill you again!

Nora:

Oh please you can barely do basic math what makes you think you can resurrect me ?! The only reason your moronic ass even got into Amnaville is because mom payed for you to get in here, Jack deserves to be here not you!

(Joe walks away, pulling on some gloves as he continues cleaning)

Joe:

Well then go haunt Jack then if you miss him so much.

Nora:

Genuine question, Joseph, are you ACTUALLY too stupid to understand that because YOU killed ME I'm stuck here listening to you being a pathetic whiny baby until you either die or go to jail for all the shit you did?

(Nora jumps off the bed, walking over to where Joe is currently bent over scrubbing and stands beside him.)

Nora:

That's window cleaner.

Joe:

I knew that.... I was just testing to see if you're freaky eyes still work, they used to be so beautiful when you were still alive.

Nora:

Ya but then you slaughtered me so I guess the life was taken from them. Thanks though, they used to be green and happy....now they're just like your soul.... grey, empty and desperate for some attention to the point where you'll do anything for attention.

Joe:

You're wrong.... My soul is black, not grey. Besides I wasn't the only one who did stuff for attention.

Nora:

Jack and I did everything to get your attention off of us don't even think about twisting it to make it us look like the freaks.

Joe:

Oh so what, I'M the freak of the family?!

Nora:

Dude, you just committed first degree murder and now you're talking to your victim. You're definitely the freak.

(Joe throws his gloves off to the corner of the room and groans loudly)

Joe:

If you're doing all this to make me kill myself it's not fucking working because now I wanna see how everyone reacts to your corpse in here, especially Jack.

Nora:

Do you hate Jack because he's better then you in everything?

Joe:

Name one thing he's better then me at.

Nora:

Let's see, mental stability for one, ummm cleaning, cleaning out blood, getting dates, good grades, not being a psycho, watching movies, existing, smoking weed-

Joe:

I said one!

Nora:

Well excuse me for pointing out the obvious! Just because mom and dad paid the teachers to give you all A's doesn't mean your a genius, it just means you're too dumb to survive.

(Joe turns around and looks at her menacingly)

Joe:

Says the dead ghost girl that I killed without needing any help.

Nora:

Good job! You knew you were doing something illegal so did the wrong thing and for once asked nobody for help!

(She bends over and pats his head)

So proud of you!

Joe:

.....Does death just make people more insufferable?

Nora:

Oh god if that's true I can only begin to imagine what you'll be like once you die.

(She smiles down at him)

My condolences to anyone you end up haunting. Not because of the haunting part because you're gonna be shit at that, but for just having to constantly be around you 24 fucking 7.... That honestly sounds like hell, and also right now.

Joe:

You are honestly the definition of hell, you spawn of Satan.

Nora:

So you're admitting you're evil? I knew this day would come, I just wish I'd dressed better for this special occasion before I

(Nora slides her finger across her throat, sticks out her tongue and closes her eyes.)

Joe:

Be quiet! I can hear them outside so leave!

Nora:

You're no fun.

Joe:

And you're a parasite but that's beside the point. Leave!

Nora:

Ugh, fine!

(Nora and Joe both exit through the door and down the stairs as the lights go down).
