A Fun-Filled Episode of Vanderpump Rules: Friendship Troubles, Pool Parties, and Heartwarming Surprises! (Season 11 Episode 4)

Get ready for the latest antics of our favorite Vanderpump Rules crew! The episode starts off with Ariana and Katie sharing an unexpected ride in the same Lyft that took Ariana home after she discovered Sandoval's past affair with Rachel Leviss. As they chat, Scwartz chimes in about feeling singled out by the group, much to Ariana's annoyance. She can't understand how someone she hasn't spoken to for ages suddenly thinks he knows everything about her life and feelings. Talk about drama!

Meanwhile, over at Villa Rosa, Lisa meets up with LaLa and Scheana to express her concerns about Sandoval being in a dark place. Scheana shares how she reached out to him after the loss of his friend, only to be blocked. She also reveals that Sandoval has called LaLa a narcissist in the past, leaving them both frustrated with his inability to confront the situation maturely. On the other hand, Sandoval is upset with them for seemingly encouraging the bashing of his behavior on their podcast. Lisa tries to defend him, but LaLa, not interested in hearing excuses, opens up about her own experiences with a depressed family member. It's a heartfelt moment that makes Scheana and LaLa regret not taking Sandoval's well-being more seriously. Scheana even questions if Lisa's relationship with Sandoval is worth damaging her friendship with Ariana.

Cut to James and Ally's extravagant pool party, compete with a hefty price tag of nearly $2,000. Schwartz arrives with his third housewarming plant gift for the couple, joining Katie, Ariana, Scheana, and LaLa. Things get interesting when James and Schwartz decide to jump off the roof into the pool. As they dry off, LaLa and Schwartz have a cat about the previous evening when Ariana made him feel like he was less than human. LaLa candidly expresses her desire for a peaceful and forgiving atmosphere, rather than feeling like a pawn in everyone else's fights. She apologizes for the way she treated Schwartz during his family struggles, and he reciprocates the apology. He also pleads with LaLa not to give up on Sandoval.

Meanwhile, Scheana fills Katie and Ariana about LaLa and her concerns for Sandoval's mental state. She shares Lisa's advice to stop being so harsh on him, but Ariana remains firm on the importance of holding him accountable for his actions. When Scheana mentions missing their past friendship, Ariana surprises her by saying there never truly was one. Talk about a bombshell!

Desperate to manage his emotions, Sandoval turns to a cold plunge session with Billie Lee. He opens up about longing for his old life and confesses how much he misses Rachel. Unfortunately, she doesn't plan on sticking around for long. Sandoval reveals his addiction to their love and his desire to salvage their relationship. Billie has been worried about how others' actions are affecting him and fears losing him, a fear that he confirms could have become a reality.

In the midst of all this, Schwartz pays a visit to his old friend Jo Wenburg, who also happens to be a stylist. while getting his haircut, Schwartz spills the beans about inviting Sandoval to Lake Tahoe. He expresses his hopes for Sandoval to leave his ego at home for once and apologize for his behavior, showing a healthier side of himself.

The episode concludes on a heartwarming note when Lisa surprises James with a visit from his adorable pup, Graham. This lovable fur-ball, who had been in a foster home for two months, was about to be taken to a shelter before Lisa intervened and asked Vanderpump Dogs if they could keep him. James can't hold back his tears of joy as he realizes he gets to live with his best friend.

Chapter 3

Things get really interesting at Michelle’s welcome back party

Feeling startled and now on the verge of being drunk, Michelle and Jax jumped a little and took a step away from each other. They tore their eyes away from each other, now looking at the doorway where they heard someone clear their throat. There stood Katie and Schwartz standing there watching them intently. Michelle squeezed her eyes shut and internally groaned knowing that Katie was going to bring this up when it was just the two of them. Jax, on the other hand, didn’t really think anything of it and he just tried to play it cool.

Jax shifted from one fit to the other and he just kind of cleared his throat, “Hey guys! What’s up?”

Katie and Tom stared at him hard.

“We could ask you the same question Jax,” Katie answered, crossing her arms as she raised an eyebrow at him.

Michelle tried to divert the attention off of them and she looked between Katie and Schwartz, “Is this a reconcile?” She waved her hand towards Katie and Schwartz.

“Oh my. I can sense you are super drunk right now,” Katie answered as she chuckled walking closer to Michelle now.

Michelle laughed and looked at her, “Ok but you never said no.”

Katie laughed, “No Michelle. Schwartz and I are not getting back together.”

Schwartz suddenly felt awkward and he just kind of shuffled his feet and looked around.

Jax could feel the awkwardness in the room and he grabbed his drink, “Well, I’m gonna go check on the rest of the party.”

“Yeah I’m gonna come with you,” Katie said and she and Jax walked out into the living room.

Schwartz then walked over to Michelle and looked at her, “I feel like that got real awkward real fast.”

Michelle laughed, “Yeah I felt that.”

“That didn’t look like the only thing you were feeling,” Schwartz smirked at her and raised his eyebrows.

Michelle playfully gave him a shove and started laughing, “Schwartz! Really?”

Schwartz raised his hands in defense and he laughed, “Hey I’m just saying. It looked like you and Jax were having sex with your eyes when me and Katie walked in.”

Michelle, who was taking a drink of her wine, nearly spit out her wine as he said that. Schwartz started laughing, feeling like the amount of alcohol that he had consumed was starting to hit him.

Michelle didn’t choose to comment on what he had said but instead just looked at him with a smirk.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Schwartz said smiling.

“Do you wanna take a shot with me?” Michelle asked him.

“Hell yeah I do!!” Schwartz answered her.

Michelle grinned and started pouring them shots.

Meanwhile, Jax had walked over to Sandoval and Ariana after he left the kitchen, Katie still following him. Jax knew Katie was still behind him and he looked at her.

“Can I help you with something?” Jax asked Katie with Sandoval and Ariana now watching them.

“Are you trying to hit on her?” Katie asked, crossing her arms.

“What’s going on?” Ariana asked, wondering who Katie was talking about.

“No, of course not. We were just talking and taking a shot together,” Jax answered.

“Guys, what’s going on?” Sandoval asked, echoing Ariana but pretty much already knowing what the two were talking about.

“Well Schwartz and I went into the kitchen and we caught Jax and Michelle in a pretty intense moment,” Katie explained and Jax just kind of shook his head.

“Jax, come on. You’re already trying to put the moves on her?” Sandoval said to Jax.

Jax shook his head, “Guys, nothing happened. We’re just drunk and that’s it.”

“You swear?” Katie asked him.

Jax smiled and held out his pinky, “I pinky swear. Do you want to pinky swear with me Katie?”

Katie laughed and shook her head, “No that’s ok.”

All of a sudden, Wannabe by Spice Girls started playing and Sheana started squealing. Sheana, Kristen, and Stassi were already dancing in the middle of the room but they wanted more people to join them.

“Katie!!!! Michelle!!! Come to the dance floor!!!” Sheana yelled excitedly.

Katie started laughing and she ran to the dance floor and started dancing.

“Michelle!!!” Stassi yelled and suddenly Michelle and Schwartz came running out of the kitchen.

“Come on Michelle!!!” Kristen yelled.

“Oh hell yeah!!!!” Michelle yelled and she ran over and started dancing with the girls.

Schwartz laughed and walked over to stand with Jax, Sandoval and Ariana.

“Oh this is gonna get interesting,” Ariana said laughing.

“Oh yeah it is,” Sandoval replied and took a drink of his drink.

They watched the girls dance and started laughing at them. Michelle started grinding on Sheana.

“Oh hell yeah girl!!!” Sheana yelled as she put her hands on Michelle’s hips.

“Wooo get it girl!!!” Katie yelled.

Ariana, both Toms and Jax continued to watch them. Jax raised his eyebrows.

“Damnnn that’s hot!” Jax said.

Both Toms and Ariana looked at him.

Jax scoffed and looked at them, “Like I’m the only one that is thinking that right now. Come on. Admit it. Michelle is hot and she knows how to move her hips and she has a great ass. Tell me that’s not hot.”

Ariana shrugged, “I’m a little aroused by it.”

Sandoval grinned and looked at her.

“I love you so much right now,” Sandoval said and Ariana burst out laughing.

The girls continued to dance and act crazy and had a great time.

An hour later, the party was starting to wind down a little bit. Kristen, Stassi, Ariana and Sandoval had left, leaving Sheana, Schwartz and Jax the only ones left at Michelle and Katie’s apartment.Scheana and Schwartz were talking to Katie on the couch. Michelle was in the kitchen getting another glass of wine and Jax was in the bathroom. Jax came out of the bathroom and he saw Sheana, Schwartz and Katie on the couch talking so he knew Michelle was in the kitchen by herself. He walked into the kitchen and saw Michelle with her wine in her one and she was dancing. Jax instantly started laughing.

“Dancing by yourself with your wine in your hands. Now that’s a sight,” Jax said as he walked up to Michelle.

“Well everyone left and I have no one to dance with. Sheana and Katie are having like a threesome or something with Schwartz out there,” Michelle said, feeling pretty drunk now.

Jax bursted out laughing, “Wow you are so wasted right now huh?”

Michelle nodded and laughed, “Yeah pretty much.”

“You’re really cute when you’re drunk,” Jax said smiling at her, himself feeling really drunk too.

Michelle pouted and replied, “I’m only really cute when I’m drunk?”

Jax smiled and took a step closer to her, slowly closing the gap between the two, “Well I could say that you’re really cute all the time but that would probably be crossing some boundaries,” Jax said looking at her.

Michelle gulped nervously but she leaned into him a little bit, “Well when has that ever stopped you before?” She then smirked at him.

Jax grinned but shook his head, “I can’t. We’re both drunk and you just got back into town.

”

“Do you have a point?” Michelle asked as she put her hand on top of his hand that was sitting on the counter.

“Oh so not only are you really cute but you’re also really bad too,” Jax replied looking at her hand on top of his and he looked back up at her.

“Oh you have no idea how bad I can be,” Michelle said, smirking at him.

Just then Schwartz walked in and saw the two intently staring at each other and Michelle’s hand on top of Jax’s hand.

“Oh god. Why does this keep happening?” Schwartz asked, feeling awkward and drunk.

Michelle and Jax quickly broke eye contact and Michelle quickly removed her hand from Jax’s hand.

“Yeah I’m also wondering why this keeps happening too Tom,” Jax replied, shooting him a look.

Schwartz put his hands up in defense, “Sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt anything. I just wanted to ask Michelle something.”

“What’s up Schwartz?” Michelle asked.

“I just…” Schwartz started to say looking between Jax and Michelle. “Um actually, this is kind of an uncomfortable conversation so do you mind if we went somewhere private? Maybe like your bedroom so other people can’t hear.”

Jax raised his eyebrows, “And I’m the one Katie was worried about?”

Michelle shot Jax a look, “What do you mean?”

Jax shook his head, “Nothing. It doesn’t matter. Listen, you guys go talk. I’m gonna take off anyway.”

“You don’t have to leave,” Michelle tried to plead with him, not wanting to let him leave.

“No it’s ok. It’s late and I have to work again tomorrow and I’m pretty wasted,” Jax replied and looked at Michelle. “Maybe I’ll see you tomorrow?”

“Yes you will. Lisa texted me earlier and I actually have to meet James tomorrow at Sur. So I will probably see you there.” Michelle said.

“Ok sounds good,” Jax said then just kind of looked at Michelle wanting to say more but deciding not to. “See you later, Schwartz.”

“See ya man,” Schwartz replied and Jax left the room.

Michelle’s stare lingered on him as he left the room and she sighed heavily after he was out of her sight. She then shook her head and looked at Schwartz, “Ok come on.”

Michelle and Schwartz walked to Michelle’s room, Michelle closing the door behind them.

Schwartz looked around her room, “Wow clean your room,” he said joking, seeing all the boxes unpacked still.

“Bro come on. I haven’t exactly had the chance to unpack,” Michelle said chuckling and sitting on her bed.

“I know. I’m just kidding,” Schwartz replied laughing and sitting next to her on her bed.

“So what’s going on? I’m nervous about this conversation,” Michelle said.

“Don’t be nervous. It’s nothing bad. Just kind of uncomfortable. It’s about Katie,” Schwartz started to explain.

“Oh no,” Michelle said, starting to shake her head and she shifted uncomfortably. “You want her back don’t you? You want her back and you want me to help you get her back. Schwartz, I…”

Schwartz quickly cut her off, “No no no. It’s nothing like that. Don’t worry, I don’t want her back.”

Michelle studied him, “You don’t?”

“No.” Schwartz answered with a slight chuckle.

“Ok well I’m really drunk so you’re going to have to explain better,” Michelle said.

Schwartz chuckled and ran his hands through his hair nervously, “Ok well it’s about…,” He took a deep breath. “Ok look, I know you and Katie are sisters and I know you two are really close. I guess I just don’t want there to be any weirdness between us. Katie and I are on good terms and we are friends but that’s it. But I don’t want anything with me and Katie to affect our friendship with each other.”

Michelle smiled, “Schwartz, don’t worry. Katie told me everything and she explained that you guys are good and that you are both better off just as friends. There won’t be any weirdness between us. I promise.” Michelle put her hand on his hand.

Schwartz looked at her hand and he looked up at her and locked eyes with her and he gave her a small smile, “Thank you Michelle. I’ve always been so close to you and I don’t want that to ever change.” He gave her hand a small squeeze.

“It will never change Schwartz. Yes, Katie is my sister and she is one of the most important people in my life but you’re also one of my best friends and I do love you,” Michelle said smiling.

“I feel the same way about you. And you look so beautiful. I didn’t know that you could get more beautiful but you did,” Schwartz said softly.

“Thank you,” Michelle said, feeling her cheeks get red and hot, not knowing if it was from the compliment or the alcohol, but she looked down.

Schwartz lifted her hand off of his and he used his hand to gently lift her chin up, making her look at him. They stared in each other’s eyes and Schwartz slowly leaned in without saying anything and he met Michelle’s lips with his. Michelle was shocked by the kiss but the alcohol didn’t let her pull away from him so she gently kissed him back. He then pulled away and stared deep into her eyes and ran his hand across her cheek.

“Goodnight Michelle,” Schwartz said and stood up and walked out, closing the door behind him.

Michelle just sat there for a minute trying to process what had just happened.

“Well this was an interesting night,” Michelle said then she laid down on her bed and fell asleep, letting the alcohol take over her body.
