okay the keyword here is content. whenever you think something doesn't serve you, while you take time to be frustrated about it, it doesn't take long for you to walk away even without knowing what the future holds. you have a very strong will and respect your worth so much so when you know you need to move on, you'll immediately move on. you struggle to let go but once you decide enough is enough, you do let go. i feel compelled to tell you that it doesn't matter if it's small steps or big steps, the thing here is you do indeed make the first steps so kudos to you for letting go things that don't add up to your life :)

woah. you're so strong. you've been through literal hell and you still hold those dear to you close. not to say you're not phased by the challenges of your life, but you understand that the law of nature is that everything will pass so you give grace to yourself and the people around you very much. you gain more knowledge on what to hold onto and what to let go as these challenges come. you're also very adaptable in every aspects. you don't like to be fixed in a box. for example, you don't have a specific aesthetic that you relate to, and you simply like everything from here and there. so like when people talk to you, they're like "wait, how do they have so many different interests??" . i don't know why but they're really like giving me "gasp, shocked, ???" energy lmaoo you keep doing you pile 1!! be awesome!!

oh my god pile 1, so like your qualities that surprise them is also funnily the explanation for the strangers / acquintance part. that you're a very, very balanced person. when you think and make choices, you're aware of both the materialistic and the spiritual world, both the feelings and the consequences. often, you try not to view things just from one perspective which is also why your close ones think you make one of the best judgement. i feel like they go to you for advices a lot and not like just minor ones either, the very very big ones that can make or break their world, because again, you help them see in a wider perspective. this quality of yours is also what makes it possible for you to have multiple different things or interests going on for you, because you know which to prioritize. and you might even enjoy having different source of knowledge and stuffs going on for you because even though sometimes it might be a hassle to keep up, you're just really content with what you have.

people are so scared and confused by how you live your life. they don't think they'll ever get how you manage to embrace your situation with open arms, how you can move forward in life living like "that", their words not mine. i'm feeling that the majority of you might have been or still is, unemployed, homeless or freelancing etc. they can't grasp how you can live so calmly despite your life being so stagnant. but at the same time, they're also very inspired by it ?? in a way, they're basically saying "i don't know how you can live like that but i respect you for it". your energy is also very refreshing and i've never felt this relaxed so i assume people feel that way about you. when they spend time with you, you remind people to breathe.

people who don't know you well are always suprised with how abundant you are, or that you make your life seems so. as in you're someone who goes along with the flow of life, and goes through it rather peacefully with whatever that is going on. they also notice how you accept both the good parts and bad parts of both yourself and life, rather you cherish it. you might be someone who doesn't understand good and bad in societal terms like people having icks or people calling someone a good person or a bad person, to you no one is purely good or bad. everyone is simply human. so the way you see things makes your judgement very clear; you acknowledge both sides but i get the feeling you don't like the term of pros and cons or good and bad in general because you think everything is just simply be.

again, you're just so good at simply being there. you don't feel the need to rush into anything if there's no urgency to, you don't mind doing nothing. which surprise your close ones, because people often are scared at not doing anything. but you're simply very accepting of the things going on in your life, you acknowledge that you'll have different phases in life and this is just one of it. you might even come off as very unbothered but i get that this trait of yours doesn't come naturally, you went through some hardships which opened your eyes to shift to this new way of seeing things. you're open to various opinions and are very patient and understanding with your life. because of this, some of your close ones might even look up to you.

yippeee!! shut them haters mouth zip zip!! your close ones clearly see that you're not as greedy as people make you out to be. it's true you're working on more goals, but they're aware that these steps you're taking are only to deepen the connections and relationships that you have aww. for example, you want to get more money so you can buy your close ones stuffs they can't afford or to donate to those that clearly need more help than you. and you know that since you're able to do so, you will do it. and you clearly enjoy doing this, your closed ones can see that. again, you've achieved most of your big dreams and if you're still in the process, this wheel of fortune card is just another confirmation that your dreams will be aligned way sooner than you'd initially thought. also i'm getting that you're not just abundant in physical world, but also the spiritual world. you might be one of those people whose gut hunches are always right and it spook your close ones a lot haha. you could also have precognitive dreams :0

you're very playful. it seems like you've newly developed this trait? or strengthen it more? like you just gotten out of a period of self journey of accepting yourself and your wounds. now, the people see that whatever danger throws at you, you just kind of blurt your tongue at it? lmaooo and for people that are more acquainted with you, they notice you're facing your past wounds with such a cheeky energy. it reminds me of lightly joking about your traumas because you've processed and accepted them, and not in a joking as coping to distract you from the depths of your wounds way. you're also very very stable, or long term stability is about to come your way. now you just sit in your glory and you watch as things unfold, you're confident in your capabilities. everything in your life is aligning to a space of more security and comfort, and this is all because of how you have this set of values and morality and hold onto them tightly. you're just doing you, is what i get their general reaction to this are.

it seems that you gained some positive attention like getting praises, promotions etc and i feel like it was very recently as well. regardless, the cards are telling me that you have a fair amount of both people supporting you and wanting to see you fall. now, regarding the achievement, those who support you from afar are really proud of how far you came, that your gentle soul finally gets the appreciation they deserved. to them, you have a really pure heart and energy while being such a hard worker. you really have their support, pile 4. now onto the people that don't like you as much, these can be external factors that had or are negatively impacting you, but i feel for the most of you, it's the people instead. they see here that you're standing tall in yourself, not shaken up by their advances as you deliberately close your eyes and ears to anything they have to say. you also don't make a move either and this really hurts their pride (lol serves them). they're seeing you in all your glory and your unbothered energy makes their insecure asses more insecure.

your close ones are aware that you cherish your inner child very much. tbh this whole spread screams inner child. anyway, you make decisions after listening to your inner child but you're also very grounded in reality. like you have that thirst for enjoyment a child would have but you're not a child in terms that you are blindly going anywhere without knowing the cautions of the place. you nurture your inner child very much so you try to things that would make them happy, and your close ones are really happy you're happy. remember that achievement in the strangers / acquintances part? i feel like that alone has opened up so many opportunities and choices for you, choices that would make your inner child so happy. they're just super proud of you, they know you've been waiting for this day. and since you have a solid foundation of principles, they trust that you would make the best call for future choices whether or not you ask them for their advice. there's just so many good things waiting for you pile 4 :)

Yes, it's similar to Chiron, both feel like an outcast. But your thing, is more like you attract self-focused, ego-driven and very self absorbed acquintances and friends. Like you start being friends with someone for example and end up seeing or figuring out they have a god complex.

Mephiston woke up early that day, the earlier he'd showed up in the Scholasticate, the higher the chance that he'd see Veldreth throughout the day, however, be it to his dismay or not, the mysterious scholar was already there when the old man arrived at the Library.

Approaching the familiar corner, Veldreth didn't seem to pay him any mind, be that because he was absorbed in his book, didn't care enough or chose to actively ignore Mephiston, whichever it was, it wasn't gonna stop the old man from making his point.

"I apologize profusely for not having shown up yesterday, I was quite unfortunately otherwise preoccupied, I do come with good news though." he lowered his voice and continued "I can get the corpse for you, albeit I had to request help for it, and that help is asking for payment in beforehand.".

Still not sure if Veldreth was listening, Mephiston chose to go on, simply hoping he wasn't being ignored "The...acquintance, that oh so graciously agreed to helping me, wants to meet you." finally showing a sign of life, Veldreth commented "Hm, and why would I fulfill a request of yours after you have continuously proven to be unreliable to work with?" to which the old man responded "Ah! Well, firstly I doubt you'll have opportunity to learn this much about Nightkin again anytime soon, and secondly, I am of sure mind that my acquintance and you will have plenty to learn from each other.".

Looking up from the pages of his book, Veldreth gave Mephiston a grim gaze and noted "Don't play yourself up, you are just that, an opportunity, if I had chosen to pursue knowledge of your kind before just recently I can assure you I would not have need of you right now.

Give me a location for the meeting with your acquintance, it seems the acquisiton of the corpse relies on this now, but do not think I will not just simply leave you to your troubles if you continue to bring nothing other than more requests to this table." to which Mephiston replied with a very slight smirk "The old Stone Vigil, it's abandoned, I've been there a few times when I needed some solitude, there's a room with an old map table, I'll tell my acquintance to meet you there, do you have any preference as to the timeframe?".

Closing his book and heading for the exit of the library, Veldreth said

"I'll be there. Just don't make me wait for a week."

Actually one JK "lesbian" solo stan made a collage of idols "biting" e/o's ear playfully and tried to pass it as normal behaviour bw kor. men when the HD footage came out. It wouldn't take them seriously since they're a solo stan who tries to shit on the genuine moments bw the members and JK under the disguise of "proctecting his image" (aka trying to prove he's not a gay/fs king etc.) BUT OMFG the power this moment holds.... makes literally everyone piss in their pants whether gay or straight.

If you haven't noticed yet, everyone and their mother is an expert on Korean masculinity, relationships between men and skinship. And their sources are so legit, quora and twitter threads and youtube comments, mostly from people who are not even Korean. I mean, look. Of course that an outsider who had no contact with a certain culture can only find more at first by doing some internet research. That's not a bad thing. Except that it's a lot of the times a superficial one and one thing I don't agree with is fans getting their information only from other fans writing either on twitter or tumblr. Not everyone has Korean friends or acquintances and I'm not saying that's a must requirment, otherwise they can't possibly speak on this topic. Knowledge is out there and it's ok to only be able to learn the basics. But the source is important. I would rather read books and research papers wrote by Korean men and women on topics of masculinity, sexuality, K-Pop, military enlistment because they can be a primary source of information, not someone making a thread on twitter, writing about it as if it's some absolute truth, by looking at idol clips. And lastly, we should always leave room to uncertainty because we can't be experts, as long as we're all here just to talk about a favorite group or idol. I know I'm definitely not one, but I do try to mention the sources that I'm using, especially on stand alone posts for which I did some research. At the end of the day, I use information and apply it to my study case and the end result is my interpretation. Not an universal truth.

daishou is a very attentive person, which means that he can always tell what mood you’re in; it was the way you two got involved in the first place: you had a class together and he noticed the way your shoulders slumped over a bit, and despite the smile on your face, he could tell something was wrong, so he approached you and asked about it. you told him what made you feel down and he immediately offered his help, which you were very grateful for. from then on, you two were inseparable. even though his time is usually consumed by volleyball practices and matches, he always makes sure to take you out at least twice a week and spend the most time possible with you, even if you’re just having a night in. he is a very tactile person and loves cuddling you and just generally having you by his side. he loves spoiling you and taking you on fancy dates. your family and friends might not really like him at first for one reason or another, but over time, they warm up to him. daishou is very competitive, so he turns almost everything (excluding anything with you, he deosn’t want to compete with you) into a competetion; kuroo posted about his date on his instagram story? he makes a whole post dedicated to you. one of his acquintances waltzed with their significant other at an event you were present too? he asks you to dance with him and pulls out his knowledge of foxtrot. the only person that can stop him from trying to constantly one-up someone is you. you are exactly what he needs to be a more balanced person.

WISDOM OF THE MAASAI

In quest for a fathomable perspective, bunduzman had to go further north of Kilimanjaro to the wilderness of Maasai land. In pursuit of a lifestyle, cultural and cohesive human-fauna co existence I finally set my foot on the soil I always wanted to explore since years in memorial. Maybe we could say the time was right, destiny had aligned itself . little did I know of the pot of gold awaiting . I visited my late granny`s sister my only resource person I knew and a cultural hardliner to get the wisdom of the guru.

First impression and am pretty at peace, I knew this all I wanted. Hemming the landscape in abundance are dark black volcanic boulders but dispersed as compared to `shetani lava` free flow lava rocks. beneath the blue skies, amidst hillsides, sparsely distributed shrub tower from the dark soil but there`s magic that this place offers, afore me is the most photogenic Kilimanjaro background and am sure this place harbours wisdom and treasures of the land.

According to maa culture , upon a meet up a catch up is mandatory. My holism side is coming out alive strongly. The maa call it `lomon` and so do i. every minute here is a crucial learning opportunity for me so my indulgence is eclectic.

Soon am shown my accommodation and as per maa culture it is far from the boma (homestead) as am a moran(warrior). Morans sleep further from women and children . the set up is spectacular. Set in serenity and tranquility I must acknowledge my uncle Loserian sundowner`s eye for a choice of such a picturesque scenery.

My room`s background is the most perfect quaint I would ever capture of the Kilimanjaro. Certainly kibo it`s stature like a benevolent giant embracing the Amboseli plains, it`s snow caped top like a kings crown and from my conservation and ecological proficiency I understand the sleeping giant role in providence and sustainability. Set near an oldonyo (hill) rocks are arranged symmetrically in the interference -free solace and solitude.

Everywhere I have gone as an adventurer I have always valued the virtue of making friends. It`s 1700hrs and my uncle and I are sitted for a perfect sundowner moment. The view is blissful as the sunset glares are twilighting Amboseli national park plains.my guide who`s my uncle is quite familiar with the geo-location , a true warrior of the land!

My guide points out a large mass reflecting the gleams and says it`s Lake Amboseli in the horizons, further north and to the east a hill protrudes to my knowledge the landmark of Namanga town. From namanga you go to `sanya ya juu’ a vast area occupied by maas both in Kenya and Tanzania.am overlooking the pastoralists corridor from my sundowner`s point of view.

Deep to Tanzania is kijiweni,then to murtoni, sangarini, murtot, entonet, barazani ,kilombero, shauri moyo, bustani then to mtamburu heading west.day by day my stay opens up a deep understanding of the population dynamics, transborder cultural influence and cultural role in identity and heritage.

My pursuit of a multi lingual perfection is bearing fruits. It`s a couple of days and my maa tutor `mr. ole Naanyu credits my efforts.am familiar with basic words likje ` aaoomon olorika( can I have a chair please?), endaah(food), kuleeh(milk), osoit(rock), oldonyo (mountain), sambu(brown),aang( home), enkaji(house) ndare(goats), enkolong(sun), alapa( moon) enkare( water) just but a few….

Culture is the antidote of propaganda – always my mantra. Basic rules first for a common entity and understanding of anything in my bunduz pursuit.i attribute this to my flexibility and open mindedness that I can morph and fit in anywhere if only I take care of the language barrier.couple of days and am totally in love with thebunduz in maa land.is it the solitude? Is it the simplicity? Is it the community unity and compassion? Sure I feel a sense of belonging every homestead I visit.

My maa is getting better as I can now structure a sentence, `aeeyoo adol ingwesin lo Amboseli’-( I came to see the wildlife around Amboseli) is my introduction everytime I meet a local . `Ayaauwa lomon ol la shumbaa pedol motonyik, ingwesin-(my work is to show tourists birds and wildlife ) is the skeleton key phrase for my stay here . Am euphoric to meet even toddler named after me, `Fidel Saitabau’. it`s maa wisdom to name a child after a relative for matriarch continuity and remembrance.

My quest for a deeper `Ambo-kiili ecosystem burns deep within me . am in tune with the universe and so does my fate.i get a phone call from another uncle who invites me to visit them at their camp and this totally uplifts my spirit. The next Sunday morning am amped in my combat cargo pants and jungle green shirt ready to be picked up. The first sight of his giant sized physique reminds me am in the land of warriors- a reassurance of some sort I must say.

`Big Boy’ I call him knows the ways of the land and totally the Amboseli-tsavo ecosystem and it`s neighbouring conservancies. It’s a Sunday so we on easy mellow chill mode as I get acquinted with his fellow warriors of the bunduz. Their hospitality is warm though in solitude , out in the cold lies the camp amidst bush ambience.

I harbour a great conviction and passion with the conservation inclined personnel as we are in the same area of professionalism- CONSERVATION for future generations. To my surprise , Big boy has planned a reconnaissance survey and am totally stoked! In his Big boy boots , I board his offroad bike as we fade into the wildnerness.

Since my arrival I have been anxious to find out a story of a great tusker and am told not worry no more since I found the soldiers in the field who were there till the demise of the supreme tusker. slowly we cruise and transverse the plains of the conservancies. Big boy showing me the wildlife and local maa terminologies . we go deeper into an eco-tourism perspective as we are sombre on how `Rona virus’ has robbed tourism it`s liveliness.

We are at the AA Amboseli lodge and it`s a perfect totaln dysfunctionality thus when I spot my first aves , the black flecked yellow throated francolin and marabou stalk. To the north we head leaving behind the `lemongo museum’- dedicated to the study of wildlife .Am impressed as am aware of a fully stocked library.To the south west is the Osero house .

In a while we are at Sopa lodge and kibo safari camp all in a total shutdown.As an intrepid adventurer my soul cries as I understand the replica to the tourism kitty.intersecting the junction from sopa is the road down to the Kenya wildlife service headquarters and next to it is Amboseli National park kimana gate all in a total shutdown.on the main road is `The Mada hotels kilima camp also is the same state.

My point of interest is the Or kelunyet village – a maasai cultural village perfect for briefing of the maa culture but that not of my concern as of now. Outside or kelunyet is a watering place that has natured one of the greatest tuskers that has transversed this plain. Compared to the mighty historical Ahmed of marsabit who was mandated presidential escort.

As the water trickle down and fade so is the presence of the mighty tusker Tim who gave up ghost after five decades.But the glory still triumphs the land as every villager around here knew or must have heard of the great tusker and even the global village where he won the hearts of many.my uncle Big boy is a marshal in the wildlife field under `BIG LIFE FOUNDATION’.

February `4th is the morning of demise of Tim. Big boy was one of the first person in the `scene of crime’ as he explains this was Tim`s favourite feeding area just opposite or kelunyet the other side of the road to Amboseli gate.am glad am getting first hand information from a ranger who witnessed Tim`s last presence here before being taken to the museum.

A peace loving, gentle and benevolent tusker he was for tourist to take photos of him sometimes pushing away other tuskers who tried to be vicious . Tim would relax for them to get a perfect caption- a photogenic legend he was.

December 1969 is when the great legend was born in Amboseli national park. four years later he got the name Tim from an intrepid American researcher Cynthia Moss who had arrived in Kenya in 1972-founder of Amboseli trust for elephants.

From her research ,Cynthia Moss reckons that Tim came from the TD family led by his matriachial grandma Teresia and the mum was Trista. For a while we observe the place as my uncle even shows me his last cloacal emittance a prove that this was his area he liked. Rather than outside or kelunyet Tim would sometimes change environment to the yellow barked acacia filled and water abundant kimana sanctuary for water or greener pastures or probably his females, a gentle bull who filled Amboseli with his progeny.

Tim had survived the 1980 Amboseli severe drought an era when Tim lost his grandma Trista from spears of pastoralists. prior in 1977 he lost his mum so he was left to wander alone but survived-a soldier of a kind. Tim`s death was a twisted gut but my uncle Bid boy explained to me he had found him lying and bleeding from injuries incurred from another Tusker perhaps a confrontation. Tim was gentle ,carefull and grandiose as his tusks were ground touching .probably it is the MUSTH that brought about a conflict of interest.

As we transverse the airstrip outside Amboseli gate closer to Tawi lodge Tim`s memories just run my mind obnoxious in some way but I have to let nature take it`s cause. upclose sights of maasai giraffes distinctive by their yellow fawn, common ostrich and gerenuks divert my mind as I go back to the camp reminiscing my day.

Another day another dollar, but dollars won`t come easy here in the bunduz since Rona invaded. My mind is at ease when my uncle promises to show me Tim`s brother Greg, a great tusker like him and of close resemblance and supremacy he says.

Am euphoric by the mention of a foot patrol as I know this will give me an upclose real time floral fauna encounter .For me euphoria is preceding vulnerability .As i rub mosquito repellant on my body ready to zip my self in my sleeping bag as I sleep amped.

At 0600hrs I wake up to the most soothing ambience of aves wildebeasts in the background. sorrounded by bones of great mammalia is our camp.my maa friend gives thanks in maa as we head to make breakfast. we collect `rigiek’ (firewood) as we catch up in a while breakfast is ready.

At 0700hrs we ared out of the camp ready for the routine foot patrol.My uncle takes me through the GPS mapping process and `The Black View IP-68’ for data collection and we begin mapping our waypoints and sightings in the field. We are amidst grants gazelles and wildebeasts as the hilly breeze hits us to a rude awakening .

My uncle Big boy is my resource person as I gain a lot of lessons on bushlife survival techniques. I can identify male and female ostricvhes , their milky like excretion and general ostrich behaviour like laying eggs at the same periodand the role of female and males to protect the eggs tillthey hatch.Bog boy explains the colour variation and advantage in terms of camouflage.

At night the dark feathered male take roll of roosting on the egg as the female feeds while during the day the female takes over brown feathered blending with the savannah. Am more amused by ostriches` behavior once the eggs hatch. The responsibility of caregiver is left to one of the females, the most ferocious one as the others leave.

Our mission is to transverse the conservancy on a `wreck patrol’ leaving no point unattended as the GPS maps our path indicating bordering conservancies.Am now well conversant with the interface and from a conservationist and wildlife manager to be perspective am impressed. The app has a ranger unit entity, members present, patrol method, patrol area ,are poachers armed? Additional is a record of wildlife sighting, tracking live or dead, scat/dropping ,number of animals ,wildlife treatment, illegal human activities, animal mortality, human wildlife conflict, community service by rangers e.t.c

Amboseli neighbours kimana group ranch an area which my grandpa Mr. Elijah Mwatee had demarcated in his tenure of duty long before moving to kwale and kilifi. The group ranches that make up kimana ranch are kilitome conservancy, nailepu, osupuko, naalarami and olitiyani conservancies anf far is the kimana sanctuary and the olgulului group ranch.

As an avid birdwatcher I enjoy spotting the augur buzzard, black flacked yellow throated francolin, the Kori bustard, superb strerlings, helmeted guinea fowls , just but a few. I encounter a rare type of ungulate and Big boy tells me this is their hotspot area. Am talking gerenuks as they browse on the shrubs near the windsock area.

Despite the dominating grant`s gazelles, impalas, wildebeests, gerenuks attract my attention as these arid survivors are wise in their own nature. Gerenuks eat the fleshy part, buds, fruits, flowers and climbing plants and do not require water if ever, rarely reducing predator risk as they graze in open areas.

Gerenuks have a pre-orbital gland ( like topis) that emit a tar like scent bearing substance that is deposited between twigs and bushes. This alerts other gerenuks in the area that there is a claim of territory. Gerenuk itself is a oromo - somali name meaning giraffe like gazelle in Swahili(swara twiga).

A fascinating thing is also gerenuk`s male performing a courtship ritual to an oestrus female. He will approach herand horizontally lift one of his front legs and repeatedly tap the female under belly and flanks. Or else he will rub his pre orbital gland on her body marking her with his scent to mate. The local maas call gerenuks` enkoilii’.

Am glad beinga plant community enthusiast to learn their local maa names. The maa community widely cherish flora and have a name for every plant / tree and to my surprise a nutritional or medicinal value.

The acacia tortilis is treasured in most homesteads as a source of shade local name `ol tepesi’ and loved by elephants as they rub theirselves on their rough bark. The whistling acacia , local name `elwai’ is an ingredient for soup once they slaughter, oremit is a stomach cleanser, `elokii’ finger like euphobia for hedges, `entialong’ a stomach remedy, oltiasmat found near Amboseli gate on the saline soil has an aesthetic value, olo songori ( devil`s whip).

It`s almost noon and the overhead sun is scorching , determined in our hats we beat the shrubs bearing in mind the vulnerability we are exposed to. Of worth recalling is a Laxadonta Africana in solitude usually very vicious behind a bush who was throwing mud at himself. We came to such close proximity about five metres unaware of the staring danger just that a gut feeling saved us.

We are now at Tawi lodge Amboseli as we surpass the thicket and to Big boy`s precision of his line of duty he teels me have a break at ` The zebra plain hotel’. Our GPS reading 37 0025E 12 79S at UTM. Pressure 96 99 690

As I heave a sigh of relief and down my cold concoction am humbled by the dedication the rangers have devoted from `BIG LIFE FOUNDATION’ to ensure a peaceful cohesion of humans and wildlife in the Amboseli conservancies that stretches to kimana sanctuary and chyulu hills.

By the time we arrive at the camp at 1330 hrs we have done a pretty 28 km patrol leaving me with nostalgic memories. On the contrary to fatigue am motivated to explore more of the camps in chyulu hills and the other conservancies.

As my maasai is getting better I can identify wildlife like `ol` logwarak (lion), emuny (rhino), oloitiko( zebra), oe ngat (wildebeest), or birit(warthog), oyayaiii( porcupine) essuni( impala), or ngojine( hyena), or makao( hippo), or meot (giraffe), or kanjaoni (elephants), olo sokuan (buffalo).

i’ve been feeling really called to continue gaining my knowledge surrounding astrology and hopefully, eventually start doing my own readings down the line. i was just wondering how you started to find yourself becoming really immersed in the understanding of astrology and if you have any tips for someone who feels called to do the same?

thank you so so much, this was such a sweet message from you.

I was listening to every astrology channel on Youtube for 2 years before I even started to understand and could interpret a full (natal) chart. For the longest time, like a year I was then interpreting just particular placement. Then I also started looking into a full natal chart. And for another year, all I could do is just natal chart interpretations. I couldn't even understand synastry or composite chart yet. Not to mention persona charts. I read book on astrology in the library, online pdfs and resources. I also regularly talked to an acquintances to attended school of astrology and he gave me this awesome handbook on astrology as well that was written by his astrology teacher. I read through every astrology post here on Tumblr as well, I came across so so many cool blogs that I loved and I just read about aspect, placements, signs, their answers to questions. Another good thing is every astrology forum on the internet as well, these I must say are really hard core astrologers, I learnt so much about aspects from them, but also synastry and composite. When I started to listen to Indian astrologers and Vedic astrology on youtube and via websites/online I knew I was in it deep haha since being from Europe up to that point I mostly followed just Western astrology.

Currently I must say I crave to read something more stimulating. I kind of feel like I plateaued. I know general definitions and meaning in astrology just a bit too much, that it's sometimes harder to find something I haven't at least heard before. I keep looking in actual physical books now rather then online, since online it can get repetitive. But one area I still feel like I need to learn more online is degree theory and just overall on degrees. I wish to know more about degrees.

I always recommend doing astrology, especially if you have pointers to that in your natal/Midheaven Persona chart. Like I've interpreted many charts where I noticed the person has Uranus in the 2nd, Aquarius over the 3rd house, Scorpio over the 11th house, Aquarius over the 7th house, Pisces Moon, Neptune in the 4th house, Pisces IC, Aquarius IC etc. and I always suggest going into astrology more seriously. Because some of these aspects are really good, like not just a regular person that has a slight interest in astrology, but someone who would really grasp the concept very easy.

I wish you a lot of success in this field. I must say I'm still passionate about it even after years now and I think this is the only thing that makes my blog look inspiring. That I have the same passion as I had on day one.

Background || Castiel

He’s post!S5 canon divergent. After being brought back to life and with new strenght, Castiel pulled Sam from hell and, without realizing, Lucifer (plotted with hellruins) snatched a ride with him to get out of the cage. Lucifer used his vessel to regain strenght (Gadreel/Sam style with Castiel unaware of this) during the events of season 6. Going against Raphael wasn’t much of Lucifer’s desire, but Castiel’s idea to open purgatory to use the souls for power was pretty convenient to him, so he went along with it and just stayed dormant as Castiel carried on with his plan.

After getting the souls from purgatory, Lucifer was clever enough to grab some for himself and, after restoring his own grace and plenty of power he left Castiel’s body behind and found himself a new vessel right before the levianthans started to tear Castiel inside out. After the leviathans left his body, Castiel was found by Lucifer in his new vessel and, in a sort of revenge for desintegrating Raphael, Lucifer kicked him out of the realm with his newly gained powers, snapping him to another universe. The last time Castiel saw the winchesters was right before walking into the lake.

Castiel woke up in a different world and, after realizing he couldn’t come back home, he made this new universe his home. He met new friends and carried on a semi normal life with the bare knowledge the Winchester lifestyle had given him. He rented an apartment at first and, eventually, he bought his own house. He lived like this for about 7 years, until eventually he realized this world also had angels and a heaven which they called The Silver City.

This he found out about by meeting the actual God that reigns this universe, Adonai (biigbcss), and overwhelmed by His presence and kidness, Castiel became devoted to this new God. Many things happened (plot points with friends) and, even if his original God was another one, Castiel’s alliance now lays with Adonai and the Silver City. He still visits his house on earth, mostly because he still has to make acquintance with Adonai’s celestials.

Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (Module 4)

.“It wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark.” -Howard Ruff

I was captivated by this quote with connection to our Module 4. Aside from the spiritual context, this means that preparedness is really important to one’s safety and betterment. In the Bible, people laugh at him for preparing to nothing. But at the time of flood, people were crying and begging just to get inside the boat. That’s similar to being prepared to natural calamities and hazard disasters that we could face. It is essential that we must be ready knowing the unknown in the future.

Last time, we were asked to do a module activity concerning the disaster risk reduction and management of our barangay. We were asked to interview an barangay official and to assess the surroundings. Below are the insights of my experience.

Hazard Identification

The calamities that went through the barangay for the records are the following:

Fire (Latest was from last year at Antonio St.)

Typhoon (Typhoon Ondoy at 2009 was the reported strongest from the past years)

Flood

Earthquake

With regards to their source information, they rely on TV and radio news, forecasts from local organizations like DOST, PAGASA, and NDRRMC. They are also tuned in to social media incase of danger alerts by legitimate accounts. She said that the local government is always updated to that.

In terms of how frequent do these calamities happen:

Fire. Not much of reports lately but latest was last year.

Typhoon. According to her, it occurs at about 2-5 times a year in the area.

Floods. The latest was 5 years ago. Things improved when they started to elevate the streets 4 years ago.

Earthquakes. The interviewee wasn’t sure but she said that many instances happened.

Vulnerability, Elements and People at Risk Assessment

She honestly said that the whole area is at high risk of dangerous elements. In terms of fire, it is at high risk because it is composed of buildings that has cooking areas with it like the dormitories, restos and other establishments. Speaking of earthquake, all are still at high risk since the area are full of tall, overcrowded buildings. She mentioned that the most dangerous place is at Juaning Street. It has tall buildings on opposite sides and has narrow passageway making hard to escape in times of calamity.

All are no exemption to these different dangers. Students, business persons and residents are affected and even their belongings, jobs and studies could be compromised as well. It is given since the barangay is an ‘active’ and 'busy’ one compared to the setting of other barangays.

The whole area is not safe, she admitted. The safe place to be at in times of calamity would be the UST Open Field. It is according to their DRRM plan as an evacuation center and the said university is aware of it.

As a part of a community, we must do our own responsibilities for the betterment of each one. The barangay official said that the challenge they faced in growing as a community was the diverse, temporary residents of the area. Half of the population live there only for purposes like studying and business. With that, information dissemination and cooperation is difficult to achieve.

The BDRRMC (Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council) led by the Kagawad with the help of the Chairman, has couple of ways to help alleviate disasters which are the following:

Training (First Aid)

Seminars

Emergency Task Force

Budget Allocation for Safety Equipments

Earthquake and Fire Drill (Done every quarter of year)

They have various items like megaphones, talking radios, first-aid kits and many more useful in times of emergency. They also have array of people whom they maintain like the task force rescue team, first-aid practitioners and other barangay officials ready to help in various operations.

These are the usual eateries that has grilling stations and cooking areas. This could be a potential cause of fire that can spread especially that the buildings nearby are close to each other.

Here is a picture of an example of tangled city wires which is not safe. It could expose residents to possible electrocution and worst, death. There are actually instances like that within the area.

Best Practice

One of the things that strucked me is the spirit of 'bayanihan’. I saw couple of men pushing a metal staircase then, they altogether helped to fix the broken small street light.

I also observed how clean the sidewalks are along the street. This just simply reflects the discipline of the residents to always keep the surroundings neat.

Reflection, Synthesis and Analysis

There are a lot of hazards present our in barangay just like the other places. Tall buildings, city wirings, cooking areas are just some of the hazards present in the area. The whole barangay is said to be at high-risk at some types of disaster like fire and earthquake. Amidst of this, there are still safe places around like the UST Open Field that could be a place of safety. With regards to this, there are certain measures the barangay officials do, like maintaining their rescue teams and conducting disaster drills. Though, it is not only them that should take part. It is actually the whole community that needs to take action. We all must focus on cooperating to each other amidst of diverse composition of the residents which, is their main challenge according to the interviewee.

What do you think the problem is, then?

Issue of lack of care towards each other is what I think the problem of the community since people here don’t live permanently. As solutions to these matter, I think the local government must be able to impose more campaigns, seminars and trainings not just to help practice safety precautions but to also promote unity among them. Personally I think that the government officials are doing their part since there are really few of incident reports due to hazards or disasters.

The barangay’s disaster situation is not far to what the country experiences. Philippines also encounters drought, earthquake, fire and more though it varies in the location whether it’s an urban or rural area. The country has specific safety protocols and DRRM organizations to help in times of calamities.

After the interview and walk, it kind of made me disconnect a bit from my daily routine and connect to my surroundings about it’s concerns. It made me realize that as a member of the community we must take our own part. We can act in our simple ways to avoid further hazards like throwing garbages to proper disposal to avoid clogging of pipes.

Most of the time why casualties happen in the country when a calamity come is because of lack of education on how to respond. This is because they aren’t exposed to information.

Now, how can we address it?

To the local government, they could post infographics about safety around the area that’s easy to understand. They could impose campaigns and seminars as what I’ve said as exposure. To the country government, aside from mentioned above, they could show commercials or short skits on the national TV about disaster management. In our own ways, social media could be a powerful tool to help circulate news quickly and raise awareness.

As a college student and member of the community, I could join the free DRRM seminars and first-aid trainings like in our school. By that I will be knowledgeable about important things and eventually share them to my friends and acquintances. If the local government asks for manpower to perform various rescue or safety operations, I could definitely offer my time. And last, social media which is a powerul tool I could use to raise awareness and spark the heart of my fellow citizens to help the community.

How do you feel about non-binary people?

Interesting question. It not really a topic I have a great expanse of knowledge in and I only dig deep enough to help me be respectul of those who ID as such. Otherwise, I guess I don’t really give it too much thought. I mean when i educate (mostly straight people) at speaking gigs, I use the most simple of explainations and leave it at that. After probably 50 conversations with all kinds of people along the non-binary spectrum I think I have 50 different explainations for how they see themselves, how they want others to see them and how if affrects their orientation and sex based gender limitations.

Most non binary friends I have are more acquintances.. much younger than me so we don’t hang out. TO ME (and Jesus H Christ–ya asked my opinion so everyone take it as such and don’t come at me anger–opinions and different information ALWAYS. anger and snarkiness no thanks.. I have a 13 year old that handles all of that for me so I am booked. –also I have only had one cup of coffee)

Non binary is the idea and or feeling.. (depending on who I ask ) that they fall somewhere (or no where?) along the gender spectrum (not sex based–as in female or male). That their masculinity or femininity or neither are not tied to a gender.

OR some non binary people view it as more of a perception. They are not dysphoric and their phycial sex is fine to them they just prefer to be PERCEIVED as the opposite or, more often, no specific gender.

My thought.. good luck to those tossing gender into new perspectives and I am glad to see that attempts are being made to separate gender roles from our physical sex.. clothing, hair, the way we walk, talk, our facial hair.. is not gendered and non binary people are pushing that agenda.

It is not me.. I have no desire to be seen as anything other than female and a woman.. I am have fought too fucking hard my whole life to be a masculine women.. a female with a vagina and breasts and hip (tiny ones.. but they exist) and still do the work of “men”. I can hold space in any group of men and garner respect and even make them see women in a different light than before they met me. I credit my my dad’s genetics.. he passed to me humor and charisma and no fear of new people. But if they don’t respect me or treat me like a person because of the reality of my physical sex, or because my butchness threatens them or because I am a woman.. I also have the ability to let them know I really don’t care about what they think. I have enough friends.. and I will find more without them.

So I guess you could say i an solidily binary.. but non binary people are just as valid as i am.. I just don’t have any true connection to the idea of it.

ALSO there seems to be a lot of pressure to not be binary.. to sort of blur the lines of gender no matter how you really feel. Please remember.. not all of us feel a disconnet between our gender and presentation and phycial sex. Young women and men out there. .. you do NOT have to be non binary to fit in. You can be perfectly content to feel pride in being a man or a woman. You can do great things and still date who you want if you fit all the traditional gender roles or even the stereo types of being gay or lesbian or bi. Or if you don’t. I certainly don’t play by many rules.

So what do i think? I think non binary exists within several realms of our comminity and the discussion around it helps us to revisit gender as a performance role.. and a culturally oppressive trait. I also want to remind those who are fine living with in the gender binary.. you are just fine to be you.
