Hello! I haven't read Red Harvest yet, I'm waiting on a copy from my library. But I've been really enjoying the Op stories. I love the question of who I would cast because I love to imagine actors in roles in my head when I read. I think based on what we know about the Continental Op—somewhat shorter, a little heavier set, not particularly handsome, just kind of average—I would cast someone like William Bendix.

Sorry this took me a minute to respond! But I get it anon. Believe me, I do. It feels like a big joke at this point that the steamiest love scenes on this show have been between Sarah and Topper of all people 💀

I’ve always been fairly confident that we’ll get something a little spicier for Jiara in s4. But I do think it’ll be more along the lines of what we’ve seen so far. Kissing, lying down, fade to black... That’s what I’m expecting anyway. Tbh I would be happy with just about anything that implies they’re sleeping together, but I completely understand why the expectations are so high to see something with a little more… ahem, heat.

Everyone working on the show is aware of Jiara’s popularity. They know we want to see it. And if they were willing to dedicate that screen time to Kie and Pope (a relationship they had decided was over pretty much before it even began) then I'm optimistic that we're going to get something a lot better for Jiara in s4.

And don't forget after the time jump the pogues are all adults in canon. So maybe pushing the envelope a tiny bit with these characters is more of an option now.
