Can I do this while I edit the hobbies hood as if it’s a main hood? And then put it into its actual folder to work as the hobbies hood?

Yep you can put the F002 folder in the Neighborhoods folder and it'll appear as an option on the neighborhood select screen.

Then you can make the changes you want, and after that put it back in Freetime's NeighborhoodTemplate folder.

Template hoods like Hobbies, universities, Magic, etc. are kinda weird because they're technically "main" hoods. But they become a subhood for whatever purpose they're made for simply by having the neighborhood type flag you can see/edit in SimPE and being in the NeighborhoodTemplate folder. But even without changing the neighborhood type flag, you can put it in the main Neighborhood folder and it works like normal.

It might just be the motivation I need to finish that Truth or Dare fix it that I started... Emily's point of view is harder than I expected and there's a period of time to deal with before she and JJ can really talk. That has me fumbling. But this photo? It's the perfect motivation.

FUN FACT: I have TONS of photos of these women on my phone. Truly the best inspiration to write these characters is to stare (in a ferally gay way) at these women.
