I like to think that Mekh would have this big and fluffy mess of a hair in the past. And the reason they cut it like that was for it not to get in their way.
Like, HAVE U SEEN THE FLOOF IN THE BACK OF THEIR HAIR WHEN U GET THEM!? IT'S SO-
Jdbdjdjfjeidjse
But yeah you get what i'm trying to say here ?
congrats to mekh for getting their gender/career affirming haircut!
i really cannot imagine playing sports or doing cool ceremonies with this hair. i know this isnt exactly "fluffy" but this is more or less how i imagine their hair would grow out/fall at this length!
Sky looks up at a shriek from near the river, prompting Four to pause his work and do the same. Ten-year-old Time, dripping wet, grins from the riverbank, while Warriors splutters, sitting in the cold river itself. Wind and Wild laugh from the other side. Legend’s gone off somewhere, and Twilight’s trying to tag-team with Warriors, to a variety of results.
It’s a nice, calm scene, with autumn leaves crunching underfoot and a crisp breeze tapping strands of hair against Four’s cheek. Anyone wet must be freezing.
“You know,” Sky starts, looking back down at his carving, “I used to think that the Gremlin Link gene passed Time over.”
“Mhm,” Four hums noncommittally. He holds the diamond up to the sun to inspect the facets.
From the other side of the fence they’re sitting against, Hyrule gives a laugh. “I knew he had it. We all have it.”
“I think I might be offended by that,” Sky says mildly.
“You’re definitely a gremlin, Sky.” Hyrule reaches down over the fence to put a leaf in Sky’s hair.
{ OOC } Just a heads up, I have an important test coming up on Wednesday, so I won't be here for the next couple of days as I'm going to relax and study before then. I will lurk around and maybe send some asks, make posts, but replies / drafts / asks will be put on hold.
I do have my queue running and Wednesday I filled it up with a bunch of things, but I won't truly be active until Thursday !! Anyways, wish me luck !!
Just learned that Leiji Matsumoto recently passed away and, man. I was and am a big fan of his works. Galaxy Express 999, Captain Harlock, Space Battleship Yamato, Queen Emeraldas. Matsumoto defined much of what Japanese sci-fi became over the decades and beyond.
Imagine dis but instead of the Raiden Shogun-like arms and the amber eye it's Dain with a distorted seraphic form tainted by his own body decay and corruption—
@jiwone // send a ship and ♪ and i’ll post
a mini playlist (2-3 songs) i think fits them .
kiss me you animal, burn the ballroom : my thriller scandal, take a bite,
girl you know my favorite part, i'm so desperate for your sweet affliction.
silver, crystal, carousel your effervescent touch, but everybody knows
that home is where your teeth sink, love. kiss me you animal, i need
to take you in real slow, cause dying on your lips is how i wanna go.
starstruck, the scary jokes : sylvia, you are a fugitive on the run, not sure from what. every day, you're like a different girl, who are you trying to fool? sylvia, it's such a pleasure to know the real you, oh, i still get a little starstruck. baby you shine so bright, and you still give me butterflies. oh baby, you shine so bright.
she's got you high, mumm-ra : she's got you high and you
don't even know yet. the sun's in the sky, it makes for
happy endings, you can't deny you want a happy ending.
even with all the convoluted story that is tekken, the ending of tekken 7 still gets me. the moment kazuya hits heihachi and kill him, before that, we saw kazuya having flashbacks, when he was a kid, seeing young heihachi, heihachi mocking him. in that moment we just see a kazuya that suffered abuse by heihachi, we see, in a way, a child kazuya and his resentment towards his father for all the suffering he went through as a child because of heihachi. that is not devil, that’s not kazuya being influence by his devil gene, that’s just kazuya, normal, “human” kazuya.
i’ll never shut up about tekken, you won’t make me shut up about tekken, i’m in my tekken hyperfixation era right now, even if i’m not in the fandom and my blog is mostly ffxiv.
Sometimes I think about how the Liyue Qixing are known as The Seven Stars of Liyue, with very obvious ties to Ursa Major and its asterism, The Big Dipper.
And how, as the Yuheng, Keqing represents Alioth, one of the seven bright stars that form the body and tail of the “bear” depicted by the constellation (or the handle of the dipper, if you're looking at it from that perspective).
This makes her the brightest star of Ursa Major and the 31st brightest star in the night sky. I’d like to think that her passion for Liyue and its people and how driven she is to forge her own path without depending on gods and adepti indeed makes her a shining star among the Qixing. Rex Lapis certainly thought so, if you ask me.
