I got myself a few more trading dolls this year. I purchased them last year, bu they just got here yesterday (thanks to Amzn slow-poke service, and the obvious Holiday season slowing everything down during these times). I am in-love with the NAGI Exchange Student Series Lanlan Lang boy I got! I really wanted one of the three boys, and I got one! I feel so lucky, I rarely get any of the ones I really want from trading toys, whenever there are few that I would rather not get. Those are usually the ones I end up getting! Lol! With this series, I really didn't want to get any of the girls (they are beautiful, but I rather own mostly boys, if the series has a mixed release). I wish they had made this one an all boy series, but they made the "plainer," everyday looking one the all boy series, instead of these one. Regardless, I am thinking of getting the other two boys from this series, because Lanlan is super cute, and I love the look of the other two as well!
I also got my first Penny Box Antu Tidal Secret Language Mermaid Series doll, she is stunning IRL, I got "Shimmer." I imagined these dolls would be mind-blowingly beautiful in person, more so because I have seen what the previous series are like in person (I own four centaurs and one OG PB Antu release). These mermaids are incredibly beautiful in person, I am so glad I was able to get one. I am not sure if I'll get more, I wish the one I got had a jellyfish on her hair (I love jellyfishes!), but otherwise she's so beautiful! I love her, but I already knew I would, regardless of which one I got from this set. They are all so pretty. (:
I also attempted to get a Paula Purrfect from the Nanana Surprise Minis, because I've had no luck finding her in stores. Unfortunately, I didn't get her. I wish I had known they would lower their cost, I would have gotten at least four at the time. I'm probably not meant to have her, but I'll keep trying! T__T;;

my pennysbox centaur arrived and I tried swapping her hair with my bonnie doll - this combo turned out super cute! just don't look at her earless head from the side

I finally got some Penny’s Box Antu (Dreamlike Tea Party) Centaurs! One of my older (grand) nieces who has a slight interest in BJD, but loves all other dolls of all types, wanted a chance to get the secret versions. So, she purchased a full set of six for that reason (from Kikagoods, first batch if I recall correctly). She’s going to college soon however, so she wanted to lighten the cost by splitting the set with me and her oldest cousin (not blood-related to me, whom appears to also be interested in collector dolls), so she didn’t feel too terrible about the purchase.
She didn’t get any of the secret ones, sadly, but she seems to like these enough that now she wants to get the other Penny’s Box Antu and Adou, as well as some of the Simon’s Toys Teenar girls. I don’t think she’ll get into resin BJD (most of my family are action figure/adult-miniature-collector types, and many don’t favor resin). But now she seems adicted to Chinese desginer trading collector toys! Not sure that’s good or not, but I was able to get these girls finally! I am super happy with mine; she sent the boxes sealed, although we all agreed we were okay if she got to choose the ones she wanted to keep (by opening all the boxes). I am happy with mine -- I was only interested in getting only one originally, but then because I felt I needed to help out a bit more (to lighten the expense burden), I paid for two boxes.
I got the one with the brown hair and the one with the gradient black and white hair! I wish I would have gotten one of the pink or purple/bluish hairs, because they seem like they have semi-transulent hair pieces! However, I might try again, once I am not hording other stuff (or paying for extra-expensive s/h from Japan!). These truly are super adorable dolls, I don’t mind owning a few more than I originally intended, although I certainly don’t need all six (watch me as I fail at that, just like at just getting only one)! LoL! DX

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity and beyond, I received my Penny’s Box Adou figure. I’m very happy with him, I also got one of the Penny’s Box Antu girls in collaboration with DollZone, I love their Antu but never put two and two together until I found a Japanese retailer expanding on their collab a few weeks after I ordered my single box Antu. I love these tiny dolls/figures. I would love more of the boy, but it was an ordeal, and it seems no one has them? No other reliable sellers/retailers I mean. T__T;;
I read on that Japanese retailer that these are also collabs with DollZone, but I don’t know based on which DZ sculpt/bjd. I got the one with brown hair, I was hoping for the red hair or the white haired ones, but I am happy with this one as well. All but the one with the celery in his mouth, as I know that means a gaping hole, and I rather not have to stick to always having that if i ever want to customize mine. The hans were already placed on mine, which is weird because there’s clearly empty holders for them in the plastic? I guess I should be greateful they are there, and also two other spare hands were included, although I heard people receiving not complete pairs, so I should really check mine are complete. Although, I don’t know how many pairs there should be in total, as I can’t read Chinese. DX
I am looking forward to being able to get at least one of the centaurs Antu!

My July toy haul finally arrived, plus a Penny’s Box Antu doll, because she arrived recently as well. I got the bunny/rabbit one, which was one of the few I wanted the most. I love these little dolls, they are very well made, and well-priced as well. I wish I could get a few more but, the times are making it a real struggle to just pull the trigger, plus these are trading figures making it a bit of a pain if you get doubles (I wish I could afford a full box, but that would mean a certain double of the bunny). I hope to be able to get one of the boys as well. The current shipping costs are making me hesitate a bit; due to Giyu’s box size, shipping this time was a bit of a low blow, that I wasn’t expecting this time around... I don’t know when/if I’ll recover. T___T;;
