The Grass Is Always Greener…
1 Now the people of Reuben and the people of Gad had a very great number of livestock. And they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, and behold, the place was a place for livestock. 2 So the people of Gad and the people of Reuben came and said to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to the chiefs of the congregation, 3 “Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and…

Korrahs jealousy
Korah was Moses’ cousin. He was a Levite (appointed to the service of the tabernacle). Korah was not satisisfied in his position and wanted to be made priest. Him and his followers were offended because Aaron and his family had been set apart for the priesthood (Numbers 16:10). He secretly opposed them (Moses, Aaron) both. He concoted a plan to unseat them, and he found lots of people to agree…

The Twelve Captains for Each Month
Tumblr media
1 Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the heads of fathers' houses and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers that served the king, in any matter of the courses which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2 Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 3 He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month. 4 And over the course of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite, and his course; and Mikloth the ruler: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 5 The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the priest, chief: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 6 This is that Benaiah, who was the mighty man of the thirty, and over the thirty: and of his course was Ammizabad his son. 7 The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 8 The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 9 The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 10 The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 11 The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 12 The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 13 The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 14 The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 15 The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
The Leaders of the Twelve Tribes
16 Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri the ruler: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maacah: 17 of Levi, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of Aaron, Zadok: 18 of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael: 19 of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jeremoth the son of Azriel: 20 of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah: 21 of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner: 22 of Dan, Azarel the son of Jeroham. These were the captains of the tribes of Israel. 23 But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of heaven. 24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but finished not; and there came wrath for this upon Israel; neither was the number put into the account in the chronicles of king David;
David's Various Officers
25 And over the king's treasuries was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the treasuries in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jonathan the son of Uzziah: 26 And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub: 27 and over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: and over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite: 28 and over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the lowland was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash: 29 and over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai: 30 and over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite: 31 and over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.
The Counselors
32 Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a man of understanding, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons: 33 And Ahithophel was the king's counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend: 34 and after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the captain of the king's host was Joab. — 1 Chronicles 27 | English Revised Version (ERVB) The English Revised Version of the Holy Bible is in the public domain. Tumblr media
Shabbat Shalom everyone!. I share with you the latest verses of this week. Have a beautiful day of rest close to the Lord, Torah and your families!
7th Portion: Devarim(Deuteronomy) 3:15-22
Chapter 3
15And to Machir I gave Gilead.
16And to the Reubenites and to the Gadites I gave from Gilead to the brook of Arnon, the midst of the brook and the border, until the brook of Jabbok, which is the boundary of the children of Ammon,
17the plain, the Jordan and the border thereof, from Kinnereth to the sea of the plain the Sea of Salt, under the waterfalls of Pisgah, eastward.
18And I commanded you at that time saying, "The Lord, your God, has given you this land to possess it; pass over, armed, before your brothers, the children of Israel, all who are warriors.
19But your wives, your young children, and your cattle for I know that you have much cattle shall dwell in your cities which I have given you,
20until the Lord has given rest to your brothers, just as [He did] for you, and until they also possess the land which the Lord, your God, is giving them on the other side of the Jordan, then every man shall return to his possession, which I have given to you."
21And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, "Your eyes have seen all that the Lord, your God, has done to these two kings. So will the Lord do to all the kingdoms through which you will pass.
22Do not fear them, for it is the Lord, your God, Who is fighting for you."

Deuteronomy
Chapter 3
1 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. 2 And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon. 3 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. 4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many. 6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city. 7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves. 8 And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon; 9 (Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;) 10 All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man. 12 And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites. 13 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants. 14 Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashanhavothjair, unto this day. 15 And I gave Gilead unto Machir. 16 And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon; 17 The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah eastward. 18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war. 19 But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that ye have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you; 20 Until the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the LORD your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.
21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest. 22 Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you. 23 And I besought the LORD at that time, saying, 24 O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? 25 I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon. 26 But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter. 27 Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan. 28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see. 29 So we abode in the valley over against Bethpeor.

A Taylor Swift Manuscript That Looks Backward To Move Forward: This Story Is The Best Thing That's Ever Been Hers. The Third Holy Sabbath After Easter Weekend: Sunset April 19th to Sunset April 20th, 2024: Release Weekend For Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department Album. Part 6/7: Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? - Track 10/X.
Earthquake: 21:38:23 GMT+2 Jerusalem, Israel, 12:38:23 PDT Local Time Mina, Nevada (66 minutes 13 seconds (3973 seconds) after the 18:32:10 (UTC) Farmers Loop, Alaska earthquake)
Luke 21:37 Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives, Luke 21:38 and all the people came early in the morning to hear him at the temple.
TANAKH (Jewish Publication Society, Hebrew-English) Page 1918: 1 Chronicles 12:38 from beyond the Jordan, of the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, together with all kinds of military weapons--120,000 1 Chronicles 12:39 All these, fighting men, manning the battle line with whole heart, came to Hebron to make David king over all Israel. Likewise, all the rest of Israel was of one mind to make David king. 1 Chronicles 12:40 They were there with David three days, eating and drinking, for their kinsmen had provided for them.
TANAKH (Jewish Publication Society, Hebrew-English) Page 1244: Ezekiel 38:23 Thus will I manifest My greatness and My holiness, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations. And they shall know that I am the Lord.
Matthew 12:38 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.” Matthew 12:39 He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. Matthew 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here. Matthew 12:42 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.
Luke 12:35 “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, Luke 12:36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. Luke 12:37 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. Luke 12:38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak.
John 12:35 Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. John 12:36 Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them. John 12:37 Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. John 12:38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: “Lord, who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” John 12:39 For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere: John 12:40 “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn—and I would heal them.”
Luke 19:35 They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. Luke 19:36 As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road. Luke 19:37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: Luke 19:38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

I gloat over my enemies; I rejoice in Your deliverance. 1 Samuel 2:2 There is no holy one like the Lord, Truly, there is none beside You; There is no rock like our God. 1 Samuel 2:3 Talk no more with lofty pride, Let no arrogance cross your lips! For the Lord is an all-knowing God; By Him actions are measured.
TANAKH (Jewish Publication Society, Hebrew-English) Pages 1413 and 1414: Psalm 2:1 Why do nations assemble, and peoples plot vain things; Psalm 2:2 kings of the earth take their stand, and regents intrigue together against the Lord and against His anointed? Psalm 2:3 "Let us break the cords of their yoke, shake off their ropes from us!" Psalm 2:4 He who is enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord mocks at them. Psalm 2:5 Then He speaks to them in anger, terrifying them in His rage, Psalm 2:6 "But I have installed My king on Zion, My holy mountain!" Psalm 2:7 Let me tell of the decree: the Lord said to me, "You are My son, I have fathered you this day Psalm 2:8 Ask it of Me, and I will make the nations your domain; your estate the limits of the earth. Psalm 2:9 You can smash them with an iron mace, shatter them like potter's ware. Psalm 2:10 So now, O kings, be prudent; accept discipline, you rulers of the earth! Psalm 2:11 Serve the Lord in awe; tremble with fright, Psalm 2:12 pay homage in good faith, lest He be angered, and your way be doomed in the mere flash of His anger. Happy are all who take refuge in Him.
Acts 2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Acts 2:2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. Acts 2:3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. Acts 2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

1 Peter 2:1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 1 Peter 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 1 Peter 2:3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Peter 2:2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 2 Peter 2:3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
2 Timothy 2:3 Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
1 John 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 1 John 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands.
TANAKH (Jewish Publication Society, Hebrew-English) Pages 1461 and 1462: Psalm 41:6 My enemies speak evilly of me, "When will he die and his name perish?" Psalm 41:7 If one comes to visit, he speaks falsely; his mind stores up evil thoughts; once outside he speaks them. Psalm 41:8 All my enemies whisper together against me, imagining the worst for me. Psalm 41:9 "Something baneful has settled in him; he'll not rise from his bed again." Psalm 41:10 My ally in whom I trusted, even he who shares my bread, has been utterly false to me. Psalm 41:11 But You, O Lord, have mercy on me; let me rise again and repay them. Psalm 41:12 Then shall I know that You are pleased with me: when my enemy cannot shout in triumph over me. Psalm 41:13 You will support me because of my integrity, and let me abide in Your presence forever. Psalm 41:14 Blessed is the Lord, God of Israel, from eternity to eternity. Amen and Amen.
TANAKH (Jewish Publication Society, Hebrew-English) Pages 898 and 899. Isaiah 25:1 O Lord, You are my God; I will extol You, I wil praise Your name. Isaiah 25:3 Therefore a fierce people must honor You, A city of cruel nations must fear You. Isaiah 25:4 For You have been a refuge for the poor man, A shelter for the needy man in his distress--Shelter from rainstorm, shade from heat. Strong's Concordance #1569 Giladi: a descendant of Gilead, also an inhabitant of Gilead, Gilead Original Word: גִּלְעָדִי
The Republic of Gilead, colloquially referred to as simply Gilead or elsewhere sometimes called, by its leadership, the Divine Republic, is the totalitarian patriarchal theocracy that rules over most of the territory that belonged to the former continental United States in The Handmaid's Tale. The regime that governs it can be seen as the overall antagonist of the television adaptation. Individual civil liberties enumerated in the now-suspended U.S. Constitution have been replaced by a system of duties and privileges implemented in a hierarchy of social classes, with every former U.S. citizen being assigned to a particular class and expected (and/or forced) to fulfill certain roles (see Society and Class System). Much of this legislation is influenced and justified by a rigid, made-up interpretation of scripture. The name Gilead itself is taken from the Bible, referring to several different locations and generally translated as "hill of testimony." In particular, Gilead is a patriarchal society, where only men have access to higher education. Women are not allowed to have titles or deeds to property in their name and cannot have a career unless said career is specifically assigned to them by the Gilead leadership. Men are also the only ones eligible to hold political office. Women are regarded as second-class citizens as they must submit to the authority of men ("Next male of kin"). All female classes are forbidden to read or write. The only women who are still allowed to read and write are the Aunts, although Aunts are allowed to be literate, they are still inferior in rank to the Wives, who are considered the paramount rank a woman can hold in Gilead. Some civil rights however are assumed or confirmed to be suspended for good, e.g. freedom of speech (which is considered heresy), freedom of the press, freedom of religion and freedom of assembly. The Eyes serve as Gilead's political police force and sends spies to detect and punish infringements and political opponents. (Fandom.com)

"Lucky You" is an unreleased song by American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift. This song is allegedly the first song that Swift wrote when she was only twelve years old, and it was released through a promo CD with the B-side single "Smokey Black Nights" by American record label Leesport in 2003. The enlivening country song “Lucky You” is considered the first of countless tracks Swift has written. The lyrics share a positive outlook on the life of a girl named Lucky, who lives without any worries. A computer repairman showed Taylor how to play her first three chords (c,d and g) on the guitar. She then created her first song, Lucky You, that night. It was said to be inspired by her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Finlay. (Fandom.com)

"Smokey Black Nights" is the fifteenth track on Taylor's Songs and B-side single from "Lucky You" promo CD released by American record label Leesport in 2003. Taylor started writing "Smokey Black Nights" while on a vacation in Stone Harbor in the summer of 2002. As seen in a diary in her 2020 documentary Miss Americana, she finished a first draft on January 19, 2003. And it's the one of the first songs she’s ever written. The song is about summer’s she spent in Stone Harbor, (a small town along the New Jersey Shore) crushing on the boy who lived next door to her parent’s summer house. In a 2009 email exchange with The Philadelphia Inquirer, Swift said of the song: "There was a little demo I made when I was eleven, and I think it’s floating around the Internet. It’s called 'Smokey Black Nights' and it’s all about being at the shore." Fresh Out The Slammer: In support of Swift's seventh studio album, Lover (Taylor's Version #1), Swift collaborated with Target in order to release four deluxe editions of the album. Within each deluxe edition, a number of Swift's old journal entries were published. Within an entry from May 17, 2003, Swift mentioned the titles of two songs - "Not One Day" and "Smokey Black Nights". (Fandom.com)

John 20:12 She saw two white-robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying. John 20:13 “Dear woman, why are you crying?” the angels asked her. “Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” John 20:14 She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize him. John 20:15 “Dear woman, why are you crying?” Jesus asked her. “Who are you looking for?” She thought he was the gardener. “Sir,” she said, “if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get him.” John 20:16 “Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, “Rabboni!” (which is Hebrew for “Teacher”). John 20:17 “Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” John 20:18 Mary Magdalene found the disciples and told them, “I have seen the Lord!” Then she gave them his message. John 20:19 That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. John 20:20 As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord! John 20:21 Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” John 20:22 Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. John 20:23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven. If you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Her Hope, Love and Faith was Red… Mary Magdalene and the red egg in the Orthodox tradition. In the Eastern Orthodox tradition, Mary Magdalene visited Emperor Tiberius to issue a complaint about how Pontius Pilate handled Jesus’s trial. As she described the events of the crucifixion and resurrection, the Emperor dismissed her story, scoffing, “That could no more happen than the egg in your hand could turn red”. Promptly, Mary Magdalene prayed and the egg turned red. (MagdaleneSacredJourneys.com)

Joshua 22: God Sends The Eastern Tribes Of Israel Back
1 Then Joshua summoned the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh
2 and said to them, “You have done all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded, and you have obeyed me in everything I commanded.
3 For a long time now—to this very day—you have not deserted your fellow Israelites but have carried out the mission the Lord your God gave you.
4 Now that the Lord your God has given them rest as he promised, return to your homes in the land that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you on the other side of the Jordan.
5 But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
6 Then Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their homes.
7 (To the half-tribe of Manasseh Moses had given land in Bashan, and to the other half of the tribe Joshua gave land on the west side of the Jordan along with their fellow Israelites.) When Joshua sent them home, he blessed them,
8 saying, “Return to your homes with your great wealth—with large herds of livestock, with silver, gold, bronze and iron, and a great quantity of clothing—and divide the plunder from your enemies with your fellow Israelites.”
9 So the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites at Shiloh in Canaan to return to Gilead, their own land, which they had acquired in accordance with the command of the Lord through Moses.
10 When they came to Geliloth near the Jordan in the land of Canaan, the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh built an imposing altar there by the Jordan.
11 And when the Israelites heard that they had built the altar on the border of Canaan at Geliloth near the Jordan on the Israelite side,
12 the whole assembly of Israel gathered at Shiloh to go to war against them.
13 So the Israelites sent Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, to the land of Gilead—to Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
14 With him they sent ten of the chief men, one from each of the tribes of Israel, each the head of a family division among the Israelite clans.
15 When they went to Gilead—to Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh—they said to them:
16 “The whole assembly of the Lord says: ‘How could you break faith with the God of Israel like this? How could you turn away from the Lord and build yourselves an altar in rebellion against him now?
17 Was not the sin of Peor enough for us? Up to this very day we have not cleansed ourselves from that sin, even though a plague fell on the community of the Lord!
18 And are you now turning away from the Lord?
“‘If you rebel against the Lord today, tomorrow he will be angry with the whole community of Israel.
19 If the land you possess is defiled, come over to the Lord’s land, where the Lord’s tabernacle stands, and share the land with us. But do not rebel against the Lord or against us by building an altar for yourselves, other than the altar of the Lord our God.
20 When Achan son of Zerah was unfaithful in regard to the devoted things, did not wrath come on the whole community of Israel? He was not the only one who died for his sin.”
21 Then Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh replied to the heads of the clans of Israel:
22 “The Mighty One, God, the Lord! The Mighty One, God, the Lord! He knows! And let Israel know! If this has been in rebellion or disobedience to the Lord, do not spare us this day.
23 If we have built our own altar to turn away from the Lord and to offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, or to sacrifice fellowship offerings on it, may the Lord himself call us to account.
24 “No! We did it for fear that some day your descendants might say to ours, ‘What do you have to do with the Lord, the God of Israel?
25 The Lord has made the Jordan a boundary between us and you—you Reubenites and Gadites! You have no share in the Lord.’ So your descendants might cause ours to stop fearing the Lord.
26 “That is why we said, ‘Let us get ready and build an altar—but not for burnt offerings or sacrifices.’
27 On the contrary, it is to be a witness between us and you and the generations that follow, that we will worship the Lord at his sanctuary with our burnt offerings, sacrifices and fellowship offerings. Then in the future your descendants will not be able to say to ours, ‘You have no share in the Lord.’
28 “And we said, ‘If they ever say this to us, or to our descendants, we will answer: Look at the replica of the Lord’s altar, which our ancestors built, not for burnt offerings and sacrifices, but as a witness between us and you.’
29 “Far be it from us to rebel against the Lord and turn away from him today by building an altar for burnt offerings, grain offerings and sacrifices, other than the altar of the Lord our God that stands before his tabernacle.”
30 When Phinehas the priest and the leaders of the community—the heads of the clans of the Israelites—heard what Reuben, Gad and Manasseh had to say, they were pleased.
31 And Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, said to Reuben, Gad and Manasseh, “Today we know that the Lord is with us, because you have not been unfaithful to the Lord in this matter. Now you have rescued the Israelites from the Lord’s hand.”
32 Then Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, and the leaders returned to Canaan from their meeting with the Reubenites and Gadites in Gilead and reported to the Israelites.
33 They were glad to hear the report and praised God. And they talked no more about going to war against them to devastate the country where the Reubenites and the Gadites lived.
34 And the Reubenites and the Gadites gave the altar this name: A Witness Between Us—that the Lord is God.

2 Kings 25: 13-15. "The Bronze Pillar."
Tumblr media
We are discussing the healthy integration of the Church and the State using Constitution. Constitution embodies the desire of the human being to be indentured into the cause of his own freedom and independence at no additional expense to him. All he has to do is reside and be permitted to work in his jurisdiction of choice.
This next comment will not make me more popular, but it certainly can't make me less, but even still it is the Government that has standing in the affairs of all, including the hurch, and not the other way around.
The Church is too subjective, too ethereal in its arguments for the existence of the Unseen and its Will to Power over this world, and this is not what we need or have come to find useful.
Therefore constituted governments in the name of social order guarantee the right to a church education, but cannot mandate it nor ever be subject to the whims of the Church. So the Babylonians, fans of Constitution come and lay siege to Israel and Judah and force them to play by rules that have no potential to become random or assume positions contrary to others. All positions must favor the welfare of the people, all of the people, all of the time, and that is that.
This idea of a mixed majority is also not always popular but societies that are not self-conscious about their human rights legislation do just fine.
The following passages discuss which aspects of the Temple are actually managed by the State and not indirectly so that the value of the human being is not undersold by any means:
13 The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars, the movable stands and the bronze Sea that were at the temple of the Lord and they carried the bronze to Babylon.
14 They also took away the pots, shovels, wick trimmers, dishes and all the bronze articles used in the temple service.
15 The commander of the imperial guard took away the censers and sprinkling bowls—all that were made of pure gold or silver.
Bronze tools are mentioned early in the Torah in Bereshit:
17 Cain made love to his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch “disciplined, well trained” . Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch.
18 To Enoch was born Irad “city of fugitives from ignorance” , and Irad was the father of Mehujael “destroyed by God”, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, “man of God” and Methushael was the father of Lamech “strong man for humiliation”.
19 Lamech married two women, one named Adah “ornament”  and the other Zillah “shadow”.
20 Adah gave birth to Jabal “to follow a course” ; he was the father of those who live in tents and raise livestock.
21 His brother’s name was Jubal “flow maker”; he was the father of all who play stringed instruments and pipes.
22 Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain , who forged all kinds of tools out of[u] bronze “intelligence, insightful” and iron. Tubal-Cain’s “leader of the world’s economy” sister was Naamah. “sweet, pleasant.”
Ignorance is destroyed by God through the meeting of the human mind with a fine education. A fine education is mandated by the government, but as to how it suits God's purposes and why we should invest in it is explained in the Torah.
Pillars made of bronze are full sized circumcised male penises that have been led to Sinai by the Rab and there burnt in front of the Burning Bush during a kind of sacred weenie roast. From Korach:
Korah, Dathan and Abiram
16 Korah son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and certain Reubenites—Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth—became insolent[a] 2 and rose up against Moses. With them were 250 Israelite men, well-known community leaders who had been appointed members of the council. 3 They came as a group to oppose Moses and Aaron and said to them, “You have gone too far! The whole community is holy, every one of them, and the Lord is with them. Why then do you set yourselves above the Lord’s assembly?”
Korah= called to God
Izhar=sparkler! "the ripest"
Kohath= obedience, the gathering of the congregation.
Levi= unity
Reubenites= traits of leaders
Dathan= decree or well. A dat is a decree, a han is "of God's Grace."
Abiram= Father of loftiness, my Father is exalted.
Eliab= God is my father
On= Pillar, the abode of the sun
Peleth= to distinguish, to pray something unseen in revealed, also "special, separated".
"Those called to the mountain are the smartest, get along well with others and exhibit the traits of leadership. They observe the Decrees, exalt God [refrain from idolatry and propaganda] and have big golden pillars. They are distinguished in their ability to discern what is unseen."
4 When Moses heard this, he fell facedown.
=Worship of God, associated with the Amidah "preparation",
In the name of Almighty God, let us be protected, free of limiting deception, free of boundaries, let us connect with love, let us connect in utter holiness.
A moveable stand is a man who is like the trunk of a tree which can spread its branches and fruits as far as the branches grow. Wherever the man goes, there his enlightening influences go with him.
The Molten Sea or Brazen Sea (ים מוצק yām mūṣāq "cast metal sea") was a large basin in the Temple in Jerusalem made by Solomon for ablution of the priests. It is described in 1 Kings 7:23–26 and 2 Chronicles 4:2–5. It stood in the south-eastern corner of the inner court. It represents "the endowment of the present moment."
Pots, shovels, wick trimmers, and dishes are referred to in the Torah as the means to unearth the Sentient Self by discarding what is not intelligent, considerate, noble, or good. Around these qualities, a man is wrap himself like leather around a frame. From Bemidbar:
9 “They are to take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand that is for light, together with its lamps, its wick trimmers and trays, and all its jars for the olive oil used to supply it. 10 Then they are to wrap it and all its accessories in a covering of the durable leather and put it on a carrying frame."
Sprinkling bowls are the weirdest part of this, they represent adavz, "advancing to Zayin" the Eye of the Fountain. Proper knowledge of the universe is sprinkled by God a little at a time all around us. To sprinkle the blood out of a sprinkling bowl represents the diffusion of the Full Understand of God by other males through their blood sacrifices a little at a time, every day, is the key to understanding the mystery of the sprinkling bowls.
History and society advance in the same way. We get one day, one hour at a time in order to work out our problems and fulfill the hidden wishes of the human race that are inherent to the laws named in the process of Constitution. We tend to struggle against them and lie to ourselves, thus we are regressed humanity. Even still the Torah Melachim says we are to do the opposite.
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 13: The Babylonians broke up the Pillars. The Value in Gematria is 8573, חה‎ז‎ג, hazg, "the couple."
By breaking up the Pillars of Religion, the Constitution creates a new kind of union. One in which the rights of persons are guaranteed to be respected. Religion says this is a good thing to do, the law says it is something one must do.
v. 14: They took away the pots and the shoves. The Value in Gematria is זחזא‎, zahza, "it is this."
v. 15: And the censers and sprinkling bowls. The Value in Gematria is 7237, ז‎בג‎ז‎, "wasted."
Happiness is wasted if the Church is allowed to put all of life in its clutches. Religion is necessary for our development, no other institution teaches or demonstrates ethics to little kids or substantiates their importance to adults but the church.
Even still, it is as important to be happy as it is to be ethical. Constitutional governments guarantee the importance of both.

Who was Abiram in the Bible?
Abiram Abiram is a figure mentioned in the Old Testament, particularly in the books of Numbers and Psalms. Though his appearances are brief, they shed light on his character, actions, and significance within the biblical narrative. Abiram is introduced as one of the sons of Eliab, a Reubenite, during the time of Moses and the Exodus from Egypt (Numbers 16:1). Eliab, was a leader among the…

So those special privileges were given to Joseph’s sons. (Joseph was a son of Israel.) In the family history Reuben’s name is not listed as the first son. 2 Judah became stronger than his brothers. And a leader came from his family. But Joseph’s family received the privileges that belonged to the oldest son. 3 Reuben was the first son born to Israel. Reuben’s sons were Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.
4 These were the children of Joel: Shemaiah was Joel’s son. Gog was Shemaiah’s son. Shimei was Gog’s son. 5 Micah was Shimei’s son. Reaiah was Micah’s son. Baal was Reaiah’s son. 6 Beerah was Baal’s son. Beerah was a leader of the tribe of Reuben. Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria captured Beerah and took him away.
7 Joel’s brothers and all his family groups are listed just as they are written in their family histories: Jeiel was the first, then Zechariah 8 and Bela. (Bela was the son of Azaz. Azaz was Shema’s son. Shema was Joel’s son.) They lived in the area of Aroer all the way to Nebo and Baal Meon. 9 Bela’s people lived to the east. Their land went as far as the edge of the desert, which is beside the Euphrates River. They lived there because they had too many cattle for the land of Gilead.
10 When Saul was king, Bela’s people fought a war against the Hagrite people. And they defeated the Hagrites. Then Bela’s people lived in the tents that had belonged to the Hagrites. They lived in all the area east of Gilead.
Gad’s Children
11 The people from the tribe of Gad lived near the Reubenite people. The Gadites lived in the area of Bashan all the way to Salecah. 12 Joel was the main leader in Bashan. Shapham was the second leader. Then Janai and Shaphat were leaders.
13 The seven relatives in their families were Michael, Meshullam, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia and Eber. 14 They were the descendants of Abihail. Abihail was Huri’s son. Huri was Jaroah’s son. Jaroah was Gilead’s son. Gilead was Michael’s son. Michael was Jeshishai’s son. Jeshishai was Jahdo’s son. Jahdo was the son of Buz. 15 Ahi was Abdiel’s son. Abdiel was Guni’s son. Ahi was the leader of their family.
16 The Gadite people lived in Gilead, Bashan and in the small towns around Bashan. They also lived on all the pasturelands in the Plain of Sharon all the way to the borders.
17 All these people’s names were written in the family history of Gad. This was done during the time Jotham was king of Judah and Jeroboam was king of Israel.
Soldiers Skilled in War
18 There were 44,760 fighters from the tribes of Reuben and Gad and the eastern half-tribe of Manasseh. They were brave men who could use shields and swords. They could use their bows well. They were skilled in war. 19 They started a war against the Hagrites and the people of Jetur, Naphish and Nodab. 20 The men from the tribes of Manasseh, Reuben and Gad prayed to God in the war. They asked God to help them. So he helped them because they trusted him. He allowed them to defeat the Hagrites. And they also defeated all those who were with the Hagrites. 21 They took the animals that belonged to the Hagrites. They took 50,000 camels, 250,000 sheep and 2,000 donkeys. They also captured 100,000 people. 22 Many Hagrites were killed. This is because God helped the people of Reuben, Gad and Manasseh. Then they lived there until Babylon captured them and took them away.
The Eastern Half-Tribe of Manasseh
23 There were many people in the eastern half-tribe of Manasseh. They lived in the area of Bashan all the way to Baal Hermon, Senir and Mount Hermon.
24 These were the family leaders: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah and Jahdiel. They were all strong, brave and famous men. And they were leaders in their families. 25 But they sinned against the God that their ancestors had worshiped. They began worshiping the gods of the people in that land. And those were the people God was destroying. 26 So the God of Israel made Pul king of Assyria want to go to war. Pul was also called Tiglath-Pileser. He captured the people of Reuben, Gad and the eastern half-tribe of Manasseh. And he took them away to Halah, Habor, Hara and near the Gozan River. And they have lived there from that time until this day. — 1 Chronicles 5 | International Children’s Bible (ICB) The Holy Bible, International Children’s Bible® Copyright© 1986, 1988, 1999, 2015 by Thomas Nelson. 6th Portion: Devarim (Deuteronomy) 2:31 - 3:14
31And the Lord said to me, "Behold I have begun to deliver Sihon and his land before you; begin to drive him out, that you may inherit his land."
32Then Sihon went forth towards us, he and all his people, to war at Jahzah.
33And the Lord our God delivered him to us; and we smote him and his sons and all his people.
34And we conquered all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every city, the men, women, and the young children; we left over no survivor.
35Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves with the spoil of the cities which we had taken.
36From Aroer which is on the edge of the valley of Arnon, and from the city that is in the valley, even unto Gilead, there was not a city too high for us: the Lord our God delivered up all before us.
37Only to the land of the children of Ammon you came not near; all the side of the river Yabbok and the cities of the hill country, and wherever the Lord our God commanded us.
Chapter 3
1Then we turned and went up the way of Bashan, and Og, the king of Bashan, came forth toward us, he and all his people, to war at Edrei.
2And the Lord said to me, "Do not fear him, for I have given him, all his people, and his land into your hand, and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon."
3So the Lord, our God, delivered into our hands also Og, the king of Bashan and all his people, and we smote him until no remnant remained of him.
4And we conquered all his cities at that time; there was not a town that we did not take from them sixty cities, all the territory of Argob the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
5All these cities were fortified with high walls, double doors, and bolts, in addition to a great many unwalled cities.
6And we utterly destroyed them as we did to Sihon, king of Heshbon, utterly destroying every city, the men, the women, and the young children.
7But all the beasts and the spoils of the cities, we took as spoil for ourselves.
8At that time we took the land out of the hands of the two kings of the Amorites who were on that side of the Jordan, from the brook of Arnon to Mount Hermon.
9The Sidonians call Hermon Sirion; and the Amorites call it Senir.
10All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, to Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
11For only Og, king of Bashan, was left from the remnant of the Rephaim. His bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbah of the children of Ammon? Nine cubits was its length, and four cubits its breadth, according to the cubit of a man.
12And this land, which we possessed at that time; from Aro'er, which is by the brook of Arnon, and half of Mount Gilead and its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites.
13And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half tribe of Manasseh; all the territory of Argob, all of Bashan; that is called the land of Rephaim.
14Jair the son of Manasseh took all the territory of Argob to the boundaries of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and he called them, even Bashan, after his own name, villages of Jair, to this day.

61 And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD. 62 And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel. 63 These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho. 64 But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. 65 For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
