Kingdom Hearts 2 - Twilight Town - Mansion Basement

#kingdom hearts 2 #kh2 #twilight town #scenery #my gif #when wandering around i felt these rooms looked so cool that i needed to make a set about them #interesting how this area even gets its own custom graphics for the command menu #the room in the second to last gif is my favorite it has such an interesting feel to it but it was difficult to capture that #those pods are so mysterious #the novel hints at who else might have used them and it does make me raise an eyebrow but we haven't gotten anything concrete to back it up #even the pod sora slept in has those weird robot arms at the top... what's that all about #i want to make a post about the rest of the mansion because i have sooo many questions and i'm curious what you guys think about it

my one season 4 complaint is Where The Fuck Was Aneesa

#never have i ever #i really wish her and fabiola had stayed together them not working out didn't rlly serve any purpose to the plot for the new season #fabiola's new relationship was barely rlaborated upon. as expected. #and aneesa was basically written out she was barely even part of the group #plus that scene of them at the staircase talking about fab's robotics team. they still have so much chemistry and they were literally just #talking about robotics #i understand she's not a major character and she can't have a separate plotline to herself but she wasn't even involved in anyone else's #her and fabiola were cute together and she would've at least been part of the plot if they were still dating #allison was barely a character what was the point of writing some random new partner for fabiola when she already had a perfectly good #love interest #it just doesn't make sense to me. whi decided it would be a good idea for them to break up #was it just an opportunity to shove in a nonbinary character who had no personality and was just there as someone's s/o and call it #representation #cause there are Many better ways to have nonbinary rep than this #but ofc mindy kaling wouldn't give a shit about this. #n e ways for this support my nonbinary aneesa hc . it's real. #fabiola torres #aneesa qureshi #OR AT THE VERY LEAST SHE SHOULD'VE GOTTEN WITH PAXTON. People say he shouldn’t be a Legendary because he doesn’t look like one, but what does that mean? How does a character look like a Legendary? And I’d say he looks plenty like he could be one to me, he just doesn’t have an aesthetic similar to the others become he’s futuristic

I mean we just got a Legendary in October, saying we don’t need another one this soon is fair, but do we have to hate on him for it?

Honestly the weirdest thing about all the "forged medic hands" hullabaloo in MTMTE was that Ratchet's hands (and Pharma's original hands that Ratchet stole) are just like. Human hands but made of robotic parts. Why in the fuck are "Swiss army knife hands" like Pharma's Luna-1 replacements not just the literal standard for forged medics?

Isn't it so much more efficient and cooler for robots to have tools built into their hands that they can transform instead of having to go through the extra step of holding tools in their hands? Wouldn't medic hands being able to transform into any tool lend a lot more credence to Functionist ideas of "forged medic hands are the best and if my hands stop working or I get replacements it won't be the same" that Ratchet spouts? Because like at least in that case there would be this interesting robotic worldbuilding in which the space alien robots debate about whether hands-that-hold-tools can be as effective as hands-that-turn-into-tools and the flavor of that would be so cool. And it would create this whole anti-Functionist debate that a pair of hands being "less optimal" doesn't mean that the work they do isn't still worthwhile (for example, just because one doctor has a lower mortality rate than another doctor doesn't mean that both doctors aren't having a positive contribution to the world).

i am playing professor layton and the curious village on my ds. very fun!!!

I don't know if i'm very far in because most of the time spent in that game was me being confused and bad at puzzles. it's fun though.

!!! im glad to hear youre enjoying it!! its one of my fav titles and honestly such an underrated series, id love it if more ppl gave it a try!

the puzzles can be difficult but very rewarding!! i used to dread them as a kid but now i find them nice and challenging. the math ones are still hard, but if u speak to Flick at the cafe he'll give you chess puzzles which i think were my favorite ^_^

#its nice because its story driven but gives u enough room to do the puzzles on your own to make progress.. and the rewards like #the gizmos painting pieces and furniture for the minigames are also a nice bonus because it gives u a little extra incentive to solve as #many puzzles as possible!! ngl i didnt know how the hotel room minigame worked but i had fun completing the painting and robot dog #plus the variety and the fact that u dont know which puzzles youre gonna get makes it interesting. and theres no harm if u cant finish or #end up missing some because you can find them in the riddle shack or just do a different one instead and its fine. very cool #i have dyscalculia so the math ones have always been hard for me and id need my brothers help so we'd work on it together #or i'd just search up the answer as a last resort............ #actually im gonna save u the trouble. if u get the camera case puzzle the answer is 95. dude I was looking through clips for a reference image and it literally makes me sick with anger that Genndy chose to portray Africa like That. Literally racist caricatures like come onnnn man. The worst part is that I really want to LIKE that episode aside from the art direction. His mentor is a very sweet guy and I like Jack’s little rivalry with the other kid. I dislike that Jack has to save everyone and the other tribe is portrayed even worse, but at least Jack isn’t fighting by his fucking self the whole scene. there was so much potential in this episode if Genndy hadn’t been so fucking racist with his character designs. I do not fucking understand why he chose to make them absolutely pitch black in color. That’s not what humans look like. It’s like how he colors Jack straight up yellow sometimes. I know during the time this came out it was not very likely for bigotry to get called out but that had to have made some people uncomfortable. Jeeeeesus Christ. The guy portrayed China more respectfully than he portrayed literally any other culture including Japan lmao. Actually I take that back he gave quite a few Chinese characters racist accents. The man wanted a ‘multiethnic’ feel to his show but could not fucking stop being white and racist for it
