I need a guttural, evocative, heart wrenching reunion that moves even the most jaded audience to a misty eye. I need to hear Sabine's voice go hoarse as she screams for Ezra. I need to see the hope and disbelief at war in his eyes as he chokes on the whisper of her name. I need the music to strangle me and punch me in the gut at the exact same time. I need them to fight towards each other, running as fast as they can strain their limbs to go--no jetpacks, no Force jumps--just raw, human desperation. Give me the crescendo moment where this is it this is finally it after all these years, that's him, that's her. It's them! They're finally reunited! Finally! Let them crash together, arms open wide. Let them cry. Let them sob and laugh. Let them knock their foreheads together and grip each others' arms, clothes, shoulders, anything they can touch they aren't letting go. Let them embrace so hard and fast that we can feel there's no room for air. Let them love each other as openly and brokenly and dramatically as they possibly can. After all, this is Star Wars. They deserve their bittersweet moment.

sabine and ezra are so fun because they both view THEMSELVES as the sidekick. 'my cringefail brother is an ancient sorcerer' vs 'my cringefail sister is a badass warrior'. like sabine thinks she needs to fight for lothal for ezra, cause he sacrificed himself for it, and ezra asks her to fight for lothal because he sees that she can be the hero it needs & sacrificing himself leads the way for that. sabine compares herself to ezra when kanan's teaching her but ezra doesn't cause he knows she's powerful differently. obviously narratively ezra being the mc affects this but you get it

The more I see about Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger's relationship during my Rebels rewatch and now back on the Ahsoka trailer, the more I see how much they actually resemble Kanan and Hera's relationship and the more I am positive about the idea that Sabine may actually found out she had intense feelings for him when it was too late, just like Hera, but instead she could never have the chance to say it like Hera did

Finally together!
