Lemme repeat it: punk Sealand.

As a micronation, Sealand was created based on the principles of musical freedom and anti-monopolism during a time when BBC dominated the radio industry. As people looked for a way to bring music to the public (and hopefully rake in a profit in this niche) , they turned to the Maunsell forts because "hey, the government can't possibly stop us out here!"

And like. If England can be punk, let Sealand be punk. For someone whose canon personality seems to revolve around rebellion, individualism, and self sufficiency, he'd fit right in with the subculture.

And the fact that he loves cute stuff and and anime just makes it even better. My dude would jump right into kawaii culture, too. Do a bit of everything. Punk lolita. Oshare kei. Celtic punk with Catholic motifs.

He does whatever he wants and does not care what other people think about him. And when you consider that fact that either 1) he dresses cute on purpose to look younger, or 2) he's actually growing and getting older—this comes from Himaruya's comment on his updated chibi—then I see no reason why he can't get some character growth.

I could talk so long about how micronations as a whole are walking symbols of counterculture and nonconformity, how they're the bridge between humans and nations (both in-universe and on a meta level).

Let Sealand be punk. Let him be a punk.

I find this dreadfully romantic, in a grotesque intimacy kind of way.

Sealand:

It's a micronation on a formal naval fort founded by PIRATE RADIO OPERATORS that has had POWER STRUGGLES BETWEEN WARRING PIRATE RADIO FACTIONS and A REBEL GOVERNMENT/HOSTAGE CRISIS despite the fact that it could fit inside the exhibition halls at most convention centers.
