Vigilante-ing your way into the police station to steal some files from a corrupt official probably ISN’T the time or place to have a meet-cute, but I mean. If you’re not gonna say hi to the good-looking guy always working overtime alone this late at night, why even bother going???
ShuAke Week Day 2: Soulmates
Oh crap! I forgot to post my contribution to ShuAke Week Day 2 on this site! >_<
I honestly didn't know what to do with this one but then I thought about the Red String of Fate so I tried to make something out of it from there. I made this animated still image
and I also made this image below. 2 pieces are okay right? 😅
「これは…運命?」
Worked on this comic the entire week of the event 😅
Please read the ShuAke background info before reading the comic. Enjoy!
Some headcanons for this pair:
-Ren's glasses are his "mask" in the real world. He usually takes them off around Akechi only, as they're most comfortable around each other.
-They love each other and love the Phantom Thieves just as much. Akechi hangs out with them regularly too. Certain friendships are a little rockier, but they're making progress 😊

ShuAke Week Day 7: Theme Cafe
Man it was going to be a full video but I fell ill this weekend... I couldn't finish it up in time.... T_T
So I only worked on the Leblanc part to fit with the Cafe theme. Full video will be out soon if I ever have the time 😓
Summary: Goro never thought he’d live to be reunited with the leader if the Phantom Thieves. Maybe he’s a little glad he did, though.
Goro wasn’t even remotely surprised to see Akira Kurusu alive and well; no, he was anticipating this outcome. What he didn’t expect was for them to reunite in Shido’s palace as foes--actually, he didn’t think they’d meet again at all. Destroy Shido, ruin him, get revenge… That was the plan, and after that, well, Goro Akechi would die.
There was fighting, shadows, his own cognitive self. He fired his gun, and the shot rang in his ears, or maybe that was from the bullet now lodged in his side. It was a blur of movement, black, white, and red, sliding under the closing blast door and for a moment Goro mistook it for Loki. It wasn’t, of course. He should’ve known that Joker wouldn’t let him die that easily.
The sounds of a struggle, of battle and the frantic shouts of the other Phantom Thieves. The world fades into black, and Goro thinks he will finally be free.
“Goro…” a voice said faintly, sounding distant, “Goro.... Goro!”
“Ngh…” He blinked open his eyes, finding himself cradled in the arms of Joker.
“I won’t let you die here.”
“You should…”
“Shut up,” Joker grumbled, before leaning down to gently kiss Goro. And for just a moment, Goro Akechi wondered if he really could make it out alive, and have a real life with that cute barista at Leblanc...
