YOU!
YES YOU!!!
I'M TALKING TO YOU,
FELLOW MENTALLY UNSTABLE TEENAGER!
Do you ever feel angry for NO reason?
Like...one minute you're all happy and bubbly and the minute after you're not... And there's ABSOLUTELY no reason behind it.
Well I do... AND IT'S SO FUCKING DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH!
In case anyone of you can relate... These are my usual three moods:
Unjustified Homocidal Rage: Nothing happened. My day was going smoothly, I was happy and confident and comfortable... Until I wasn't. And now I'm angry... No reason, no cure, if You'll try to do as much as breath near me I won't hesitate to kill you, but give me some time for myself, watching some Lego movie/show and I'll be as good as new. This type was really hard to deal with especially last year when I was really depressed and I couldn't even recognize my own emotions, so when I felt this anger I couldn't control it nor explain it, and I would treat my family really bad and feel really guilty because of it.
Justified Homocidal Rage: (this is a common occurency when I'm at school.) I woke up in a VEEEERYYY BAD MOOD. As I was waking up I could hear my brain cry and scream for me to stay asleep and I'm basically carry on by inertia. I'd rather DIE than go through this day. So if you start shouting, or complainig or convey any negayive emotion I'll automatically hate you and your descendats.
JESUS CHRIST BRAIN STOP WORKING: This is THE most ANNOYING and HARD to deal with I swtg. It usually happens when I'm feeling really down, those times when my brain stops working and decides to make me miserable and so I feel complitely numb and powerless and then someone whom I care about does something complitely harmless thatmy brain decides to interpret as this person treating me like trash and no loving me anymore and makes me really sad but at the same time really guilty because now I'm really angry at them but I think I'm also a childish crybaby who just wants attention...
I really feel like I'm complaining over nothing right now... But this thing is really hard for me... Just wanted to know if anyone can relate🤷

one of the worst things in the world is that feeling unloveable can (and will) make you act in ways that reinforces itself. I feel unloveable so I don’t respond to messages so people reach out less so I feel unloveable. one of the hardest things in the world is fighting back the brain demons long enough to break the cycle

something something when the facade of western "democracy" continues to crumble, liberals are faced with the choice of either abandoning the systems that facilitate genocide, theft, exploitation, racism, etc. or resort to old habits that do nothing to seriously challenge or dismantle said systems... inevitably many will fall back on focusing on optics/aesthetics and hyper-individualizing their approach to combat their feelings of helplessness etc. and/or to avoid confronting the systems in place that have led to this moment (which they are most comfortable in, because liberalism never truly changes the systems in place)
the problem is not, never has been, and never will be the *tone* or *conduct* of palestinians (in occupied palestine or the diaspora); the obstacles in the way of peace&liberation are not from palestinians or palestinian resistance but the continuation of colonialism, the maintenance of which is inherently violent and oppressive. the people responsible for the genocide going into its 4th month are not palestinians who liberals want to tone police but the u.s. empire and its glorified military base settler colony, whose existence is founded + depends upon the genocide and ethnic cleansing of palestinians.

yall i just KEEP doing back to mizu and taigen's wrestling scene in master eiji's forge and like i know that taigen literally got a boner from it BUT THE THING IS out of all the scenes these two have together, this scene actually has the least sexual tension ?!? cuz like the boner aside, this scene is actually very soft and emotions-driven rather than pure passion or lust.
arguably, a more passionate and sexually-charged scene would be their previous brawl in the snow with the chopsticks, which is tense and angry and also the scene that mizu thinks about when madame kaji talks about being honest with one's innermost desires.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but THIS scene in the forge? warm colours. their laughter and their smiles that both equally genuine. the WAY taigen looks at mizu in that scene, staring first at her lips, her smile, then looking into her eyes. and you can see by the framing of the scene and the look on his face that he is, for the first time, seeing her eyes as something beautiful rather than off-putting or frightening.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
like before this point he's already come to not only respect mizu as a person and an equal but also admires her as an incredible swordsman and as someone who is kind and honourable* for having saved his life at the expense of her revenge quest. so as of the time of them tussling in the forge, taigen has already put aside his prejudices about mizu's blue eyes and no longer finds them as any cause for disgust. but in this scene he's not just indifferent about her eyes, but attracted too it.
and i'd also like to argue that his boner is not from the physical exertion or the act of wrestling itself, but from the intimacy of a playful spar, enjoying each other's easy company after having established a deep trust with each other (taigen endured torture for mizu and helped defend her from archers in the chasm while mizu saved his life from fowler's castle)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and all this while in the safety of mizu's childhood home while both of them are still recovering from near-death, amplifying their vulnerability with each other.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
like when was the last time mizu cracked a genuine smile, let alone a laugh that's more than a little wry chuckle?? and for this to happen at such a low point in her life also speaks to the comfort this little friendly spar gives her.
because like, this is after she failed her mission to kill fowler. meanwhile her sword--the embodiment of her soul--is broken, and ringo who is her closest confidant is now angry at her and barely even looks at her. it just further lends to the inherent tenderness and intimacy in this scene. and i just. AHHHH i love them your honour....
Tumblr media
* ALSO as a side note about taigen believing mizu to be honourable: he later realises that this assumption turns out to be quite false when she reveals that she'd not only allowed akemi to be taken away against her will but also has said nothing about fowler's impending attack on edo. also i find it very interesting that out of the two revelations, taigen is less angered by mizu letting akemi being married off (he sighs angrily and marches off saying he has to go to edo to find akemi), but much more angered by mizu's refusal to save the shogun and the shogunate as a whole. this is more proof that taigen's central principles are firmly rooted in the bushido and the concept of honour that comes with that. it's why he lashes out at mizu. because he'd believed mizu to be honourable and righteous, but was proven wrong. that's not to say that taigen is in the right for calling mizu a demon, not by any means. but i just find it a very interesting part of his character and it relates to his relationship and perception of mizu
also while rewatching the episode i found this very funny they just lyin there in the cart like this 🧍🏽‍♂️🧍🏽‍♂️

Wow stella's being vague would ya look at that.
Bassically this is thier first time seeing each other again after thier first meeting, before he had died.
now flower fruit mountain is burning and Nezha see's the kind man with orange hair in an entirely different light.
also the little breakdown is just my hc about nezha disguising himself as an adult so he's not constantly condescended and fearing anyone seeing through the disguise.

Sometimes I think of the Valiant crew. Like, kudos to them for immediately following Jack after the power shift but they're the largest group of people that remembers the Year. Do you think they meet on group therapy sessions?
Guard 1: What do you think the Doctor meant by "caring for" the Master, was he going to take him to a space SPA or sth?
Guard 2: I thought they were going to make out right there on that floor, blood, handcuffs and all...
Tanya: I can understand why he'd like to massage him, though, I mean if it were normal circumstances and I was getting fair pay I wouldn't mind giving him massages, he was making nice noises...

Copia attempting on doing summoning for the first time. He got everything prepared for the summoning- everything is perfect and he followed the book
…unfortunately what he summoned wasn’t a ghoul but a demonic rat that he instantly befriended even if the summoning was supposed to be some hellish creature not particularly a ghoul- but yes, hellish creature turned out to be a rat
Or the hellish creature he summon is Plushia

Was googling Red Green (the goofy Canadian PBS show) but the predictive text search engine results were all suggesting Pokémon games, and honestly……… I’d play the hockeysticks out of Pokémon Red Green.

not for anything but friendly reminder that ~fandom discourse~ about where women belong (or people you perceive as women) is misogynistic as fuck. or what they're allowed to say, or what they're allowed to write about, or what they're allowed to enjoy.
next time you see someone having a tantrum and vaguing, especially if their posts from week to week completely contradict each other, perhaps analyze if the common denominator is "a gross woman said something and now i'm mad" without otherwise adhering to any actual principles.

not gonna lie saving gallifrey was such a boring asspull to bring other time lords back in the mix. & the way the time war was portrayed took all the genuine horror out of it. like, think instead about how interesting it might have been to bring in gallifreyan refugees or something as a way of having time lord stuff to play with without undercutting the horror of the time war and the the doctor’s genocide. honestly the fact that gallifrey got brought back at all kills the really interesting implications of the doctor being the one to singlehandedly end the war, & what that means for their character. and it also kills the horror of the end of time, and how to bring gallifrey back, in any form, would bring with it all the horrors of the time war, war crimes and weapons to terrible to be described, with names like the nightmare child. and in one episode, they just. bring it back and everything is FIIIIINE. the doctor never committed genocide, bringing gallifrey back has no real repercussions the likes of which were implied in the end of time. (like, imagine the creations of a society like the time lords primed for war. even if all were stripped of weaponry, consider the terrible knowledge of such things that might be unleashed, the repercussions of such a war on time lord society & thought.) give us the skaro degradations, the horde of travesties, the nightmare child, the could-have-been king with his army of meanwhiles and never-weres. like, show us the hell that the doctor himself said the war had become by the end!! the doctor only takes the gun from wilf when he realizes the time lords are returning. that holds meaning!!
like, imagine if they actually HAD explored the full implications of how the time war had been lampshaded in previous episodes, gave us a full arc of the doctor dealing with the fallout of the timelords returned, weaponized and wielding horrors unimaginable. bring back the rani! explore the full implications of the doctor’s willingness so commit genocide upon both his people and the daleks. what was so terrible that the doctor decided that for the universe to live, both must die?? there’s so much to work with in that idea alone!!
or like mentioned, give us gallifreyan refugees! surely not all died or were trapped, surely there were other time lords, if even a few. and like, i know that house thing kinda explains that away as “any remaining time lords got eaten by the house” but frankly, i just think that if that’s the excuse you go with as to why there’s no other time lords besides the doctor &the master until gallifrey returns, you’re handwaving it. that could be fascinating!! you could tie it into the audio dramas, or the novels, give us characters from those, bring back characters from classic who! hell, you could bring in the valeyard as a doctor from a timeline that spooled out of the time war, a vesion of the doctor who was never meant to exist, and who practically doesn’t.
at the end of the day, i’m just never getting over the wasted potential of the time war in nuwho. it makes me feel absolutely bonkers, because there’s so much there!

the thing about saltburn is that we all shame oliver for what he’s done, but we’d probably do the same if we could. when has a person in love not done everything in their power to keep the object of their affection interested in them? when has a heartbroken person not craven violence after being rejected? when has a lonely person not lied to make ourselves look better? when have we been truly calm and collected?
we’re emotional beings driven by impulse and the desire to be loved that would exploit the rich on the first opportunity we get. we feel deeply and destroy in the name of love and success.
