Have you ever dreamt of having a garden that's the envy of your neighbors? One secret weapon in achieving lush and vibrant greenery is using the right plant food. Enter SuperThrive, a plant food and vitamin solution that's been trusted by gardeners and horticulturists for decades. In this blog post, we'll explore the wonders of SuperThrive plant food, uncovering how it can transform your garden into a thriving oasis.
1. What is SuperThrive Plant Food?
SuperThrive is a unique, highly concentrated vitamin and hormone solution designed to promote healthier and more vigorous plant growth. It's not your typical fertilizer; rather, it's a supplement that can be used in conjunction with your regular feeding routine. Packed with essential vitamins, SuperThrive is formulated to address the specific needs of plants, ensuring they receive the nutrients necessary for optimal development.
2. The Science Behind SuperThrive
At the heart of SuperThrive's effectiveness lies a blend of vitamins and hormones that play pivotal roles in a plant's growth cycle. Here are some key components:
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine): Promotes root growth, increases resistance to stress, and aids in nutrient absorption.
Kelp Extract: Rich in growth-enhancing hormones and micronutrients, kelp extract stimulates root development and overall plant vitality.
Naphthylacetic Acid (NAA): A plant hormone that encourages lateral branching and flower production.
Iron and Sulfur: Essential micronutrients that support chlorophyll production and overall plant health.
3. How to Use SuperThrive
Using SuperThrive in your gardening routine is straightforward. Here are some tips:
Dilution: SuperThrive is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Usually, just a few drops per gallon of water are sufficient.
Application: You can use SuperThrive when watering your plants or as a foliar spray. Apply it to the roots or foliage, depending on your plant's needs.
Frequency: Use SuperThrive once a week during the growing season, and reduce to once a month during the dormant season.
4. Benefits of Using SuperThrive
Faster Growth: SuperThrive accelerates growth and helps plants reach their full potential sooner.
Improved Stress Resistance: The added vitamins and hormones help plants withstand adverse conditions, such as drought or transplant shock.
Increased Flower and Fruit Production: Expect more blooms and a higher yield of fruits or vegetables.
Healthier Roots: SuperThrive supports robust root development, ensuring your plants have a strong foundation.
5. Success Stories with SuperThrive
Many gardeners have shared their success stories after incorporating SuperThrive into their routines. From revitalizing sickly plants to boosting the growth of prized flowers and vegetables, SuperThrive has consistently proven its worth in gardens around the world.

It’s amazing what a little change in care can do!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My Pilea peperomioides wasn’t particularly happy. It hasn’t produced many leaves in literally a few years, and it was highly etiolated: long petioles, faded leaf color, bending and leggy stems, small leaves. It for sure needed brighter light than I was giving it.
So instead, I repotted it with fresh soil, moved to directly under a really great grow light, and have been watering more frequently with SuperThrive for the last few months.
Tumblr media
It is no longer etiolated — it’s not leaning, the leaves are growing in size, it’s becoming darker, the petioles are getting shorter, and new growth is coming in less leggy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s pushing out a TON of new leaves (I had slowly been pruning the lower super leggy leaves so the total number of leaves might look weird), the stem has more than doubled in diameter, and it’s suddenly pushing out new branches at every location where a leaf had been attached!!
Tumblr media
Physiological changes from care upgrades: February 18, 2021 to April 27, 2021. Look at the difference!

The past weeks harvest and what ended up being the final harvest as a hard frost hit last night (though actually i may be able to get one more)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I made two batches of hot sauce today, one pure habanero, one habanero pineapple. I tried actually following a ratio so did 2:1 peppers to vinegar except that got screwy with the pineapple batch. 2:1 is a little chunkier than I like. I did my ghost pepper sauce at about 1:1 lol
Tumblr media
Also is sad to see the garden go... this year was an excessively bumper crop of peppers despite the drought thanks to a combo of the new hugelkultur bed and fertilizing once a month with granular superthrive. And me watering it daily for two months. Bye ghosts, I'm literally never growing you again. You scare everyone I try to pawn peppers off to.
Next year, I will have my own garden to grow in!

My strengths and weaknesses
I am 42 years old from Colombia.  I have been mostly an employee during my labor experience in the oil industry.  Because the hydrocarbon industry has had many downturns during the las two decades, I started a small business 5 years ago.  I import some premium products from USA to Colombia for the agriculture and floriculture industry.  The products are Masterblend Fertilizers and another product called Superthrive.  Particularly, in Colombia, this industry is very competitive and it is tough to challenge big companies with lots of financial muscle and experience.    Despite that situation, my firm has been steadily growing. During the first year of operation the revenue was only CAD $ 5000, and during 2019 it was approximately CAD $ 85,000.  Last year the sales decreased due to the pandemic.
Currently, I am enrolled in the Resource Drilling Technician at Fleming College, and I hoping to travel soon to Canada with my family.  I decided to pursue this study because I want to learn about other industries, such as mining, groundwater wells, geothermal energy wells, geotechnical drilling, construction drilling, and environmental drilling.  In the future, I would like to analyze the feasibility of running a business in Canada related to one of those industries.
What I previously described I think it is predominantly strengths.  Of course, I have a lot of weaknesses.  For example, I am not familiarized with the Canadian regulation about how to formally start a business.  Other aspect is I have no idea about the Canadian tax policy at federal and provincial level.  I lack knowledge about the Canadian market to trade any product.   Other important weaknesses is that I am a very reserved person.

Isolation is not as bad when you have plenty of plants to play with! 😄🥰 I've done a huge clean up, cut back a lot of philos to allow more light and given them all a good dousing of seasol, superthrive and mycorrhizal inoculant which is like a probiotic for soil 😊 Hope everyone is staying healthy and sane in these trying times! 💕 . .
